A great budget-friendly stay in Zhangye! We had a private twin room. The room was simple but cute, with rather hard Asian-style beds (which was fine for us). It's very central and surrounded by food spots and shops. Loved the traveler vibe here; easy to meet friends. The hostel organizes affordable, well-planned tours, and the English-speaking staff were super helpful. Highly recommend for backpackers!

This is truly a hidden gem in Zhangye, exceeding all expectations. The decor is fresh and clean. The location is a five-minute walk from the Big Buddha Temple and Zhangye Museum, and tour buses can be picked up at the Big Buddha Temple West parking lot, making it very convenient. The hotel offers laundry and drying services, and laundry detergent is included with disposable items. The breakfast was also more than I expected, quite plentiful. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. When I left, I hadn't received a package, and the front desk responsively signed for it and shipped it. Thank you so much!

Best hotel I’ve stayed in on my trip. The family made me feel so welcome. The room was very comfortable and quiet. Lots of hot water. Food was great. They gave me a bike to cycle to the grasslands and did my washing for free! Also dropped me at the bus station. So kind and lovely. And the owner speaks perfect English.

We had a great time at the hotel and can definitely recommend it! The hotel owner is super nice, he was very helpful with details for the bus and even drove us to the bus and picked us up. The location is also great, located only 5min from the north entrance. Our room was rather simple but clean and the price-value was very worth it.

The place is really nice, located just next to Mingsha mountain. The room is spacious and clean. The publyic space looks great, but the only huge problem there was that the AC wasn't working in the bar area, and wasn't big enaugh for the other area - it was impossible to sit there during the day in the summer, when you only want to chill.

Lovely hostel , it just can not be cleaner , never seen a place being mopped so often in one day. Sincerely one of the best hostels i have stayed. It’s a huge break from the heat of the city, and regardless of being in the night market area, is peaceful at night as the isolation is beyond great. The bus passes right outside the gates of the market, also plenty of taxi’s opportunities if needed. You can do your laundry on the rooftop , the showers are fantastic, you can chill in the beautiful living room, full of books Don’t hesitate staying here!! Really ! For anyone traveling via or transferring at Lanzhou West Station, I highly recommend this hotel. Their shuttle service to/from Lanzhou West Station is simply outstanding! On our arrival day, the driver was incredibly thoughtful, proactively contacting us for pickup. And even when we overslept on our departure day, the hotel promptly arranged another car to ensure we made it to Lanzhou West Station on time. **Facilities:** Well-equipped. **Cleanliness:** Spotless. **Ambiance:** Small but perfectly formed. Seriously, you won't need to look elsewhere for beef noodles; I devoured two large bowls for breakfast, freshly hand-pulled by their chef! **Service:** First-class! They even assisted us with our luggage directly to our room.

Advantages: It is very convenient to provide pick-up and drop-off service. When picking up the airport, call the front desk. The drop-off basically departs two hours in advance of the flight time. The front desk books a car. The room is relatively clean, and the breakfast is relatively simple and full. Disadvantages: The luggage is placed in the aisle when picking up and dropping off the airport, which is particularly unsafe. Even if the luggage is not full, it will be placed in the aisle. I hope it will attract attention. Also, it was scheduled to depart at 8:30 when we dropped off the airport. The front desk told us to sit on the sofa and call us when the time came. As a result, there was no movement at 8:30. After asking, we called the driver to start the car. The car was dispatched at 8:32. After driving for two minutes, the front desk called the driver to pick up a late guest. It wasted the time of the whole car and went back to the hotel to pick up the guest without asking for everyone’s opinions. This operation is also incomprehensible. What about time cost? If the hotel wants to do a good job of service, it should count the number of people registered before departure, and call to inform those who didn’t show up.
