Staff were really lovely and helpful and location is amazing less than 10 minutes from the harbour front and right next to metro. Loads of great shops, cafes, restaurants and bars right on doorstep. Noise from outside was not a problem but we could hear other guests in corridor and room. We did book a small double room with no window so we of course knew what we were getting, however we were not expecting it to be SO small. One of us had to basically sit on the bed whilst the other moved around the room it was really quite difficult especially with luggage. Not great at all if you’re claustrophobic or plan to spend much time in there - we couldn’t wait to get out of it most mornings. The bathroom is also tiny and more of a wet room - so there is no separate shower but a shower head that gets the whole bathroom and toilet soaked, we did get used to it but just remember to do everything else in the bathroom before your shower because every inch will be soaked after.

Overall nice. Toothbrush and toothpaste, hair comb, shower caps, toilet paper, hair dryer, shower gel and shampoo, a bottle of water per person a day is provided. The air conditioner leaked onto the bed after changing the mode to QUIET but the staff fixed it after being notified and cleaned up. The staff doesn't understand english too well, but it was enough to get by. Towels and toilet paper weren't changed when the room was cleaned, we had to ask for toilet paper at the reception. The shower leaks into the room through the door a bit so it'd be nice if a leg towel was also provided. The wifi was slow but it was enough even for an online call.

The room is exactly as shown in the photos and has everything needed for a short stay. I would say it is suitable for two people of smaller build or one person of larger build. It is just 15 minutes from the Hong Kong West Kowloon Train Station and surrounded by plenty of dining options and shopping malls. The check-in and check-out process was quick and efficient.

Imagine staying at a ”hotel” that does not even have their own building and signage. Upon entering you will see an old school 1960ish elevator that has 2 separate doors. Size then can fit 4 average sized human being and 2 if you are the bigger size. Upon reaching the 15th floor, no reception. No lobby or anything like that. You are greeted with the all in one lady that welcomes you, cleaning lady, and contact person. I was shown to my room a few floors down and she told me they have other rooms available across the street if I don't like the one given to me. Unfortunately I had to accept since I was tired My room was inside a larger room. Like an condominium unit with 10 rooms. Yes an condominium unit with 10 rooms. No windows and size was about 10 SQM. 1 queen bed, toilet with toothbrush, slippers, tissue, towel and lavatory. It's like an all in one shower and toilet. No water, no coffee, and not even a kettle to boil water. They had a water dispenser tho... Walls are thin I can hear the other room, kids also running around. This was the worse accomodation I have ever stayed in Hong Kong. Should be renamed ”hostel” not hotel. For the price I paid, it was a waste of money. I am glad I booked for only a night.

Mr Ken, the keeper of Sasa Inn was very kind and warm in answering our queries before our flight and during our whole stay in HK..He made sure that we are ok by sending us information on how to go around HK. He also takes time to message us to ask if our room needs cleaning and updates us if cleaning is done already..Sasa Inn is located at the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui and is very near the MTRs, shops, and Victoria Harbour, thus, making it convenient for us to go around and anywhere in HK. With regard to the room, though it was small, it is well maintained, clean, and has wifi. The toilet has toiletries (towel, shampoo, shower gel, dental kits, slippers). The toilet, however, can be improved more by adding a bidet. I was also amazed by their sockets. The sockets already have USB ports for those who need charging without the use of adapters. But to make sure, please still bring adapters..Overall, we highly recommend Sasa Inn and of course, we commend Mr Ken for his assistance. Thank you Mr Ken and Sasa Inn..🙂🙂

The hotel has a very convenient location, close to Exit C2 of Tsim Sha Tsui Station and the Temple Street Night Market. In addition, the famous Bakehouse bakery is only about 200 meters away. I stayed here for 5 nights and truly have nothing to complain about. The only point I think people should take note of is that the room size is small and may not feel comfortable if you have high expectations for room quality. However, it matches the price I paid. If I have the chance to return to Hong Kong in the future, I think this place will be one of my top choices for accommodation.

It was excellent stay. The view from the room was excellent. The room was clean enough to stay for three nights. The location was also excellent to walk to subwway station just a minute. We arrived at the hostel after 1:00 am but late check-in was very convenient. I am sure that I will stay here when I come back once again. I can reccomend the hostel everyone to stay in Hong Kong on a budget. Thank you

I stayed here four nights in the 10-person dorm and honestly it was great! The ladies who take care of the place are wonderful and they keep everything clean. It's so much better to have actual people working here than many of the self-checkin places popping up where if anything goes wrong it can just become a big ordeal. The bunks themselves are nice, sturdy, and private with curtain, light, international charging socket, and a small locker (use your own lock) with enough room for my laptop, tablet, drone, camera, and documents. There's no kitchen, but they have a small microwave, water kettle, and small refrigerator. And of course the location is literally right across the street from the subway entrance and many eateries are all either within the block or a block away.

GGuest UserExcellent location, right next to Yau Ma Tei MTR station, and easily accessible by airport bus A21/A22. Check-in is on the 2nd floor, and they offer luggage storage. There's also a shared kitchen on the 2nd floor, complete with a fridge and microwave. Due to Hong Kong's plastic reduction policy, you'll need to bring your own toothbrush, slippers, and towel, or you can purchase them at the front desk. The room looks exactly like the pictures. They provide a key card that doubles as an elevator and room key, so security feels quite high. In the quad room, there's an en-suite bathroom with a separate shower area. While small, it's perfectly functional. Downstairs, there are many fantastic snack shops, all serving delicious food! Transportation is very convenient, and the beds are quite comfortable and clean. There's a slight creaking sound when turning over, but it's acceptable. Roommates are a bit of a lottery; this time, I ended up with night owls who came back late, showered, and organized their belongings, which really disturbed my sleep. However, that's just the nature of shared accommodation. Despite that, I'm still quite satisfied with the room itself. Nearby, the Tin Hau Temple and Yau Ma Tei Police Station are great spots to check out, both within walking distance. And definitely try Chan Kee Roasted Goose – it's absolutely delicious!

AashandholIt’s a great location, we were able to walk absolutely everywhere. The staff are friendly. The lockers are good and the communal table spaces are great. There’s also slippers, a kettle, water filter tap and microwave/fridge. Bathrooms are make/female and are clean, good pressure and hot showers. The bedrooms are cool and have good aircon. The pods are good, but the mattresses are very thin. We stayed here for 5 days and it wasn’t very comfortable. Also, check in wasn’t very easy, it took a long time to get it to work as it didn’t seem to accept our name or booking number.

Qqueensrich1Say the words ”Chungking Mansions” to anyone who's spent time in Hong Kong and you're bound to get a snicker or two. That's understandable, I suppose; the place is indeed a circus, but I would argue that that's the primary source of its charm. Anyway, if all you need is a crash site in one of the world's most ridiculously expensive cities, this is the best value for money you're going to get. My room was closet-sized with taped-over windows which couldn't be opened, but it had a hot shower, air conditioning AND a ceiling fan, body soap and shampoo, a trash can, free Wi-Fi, a small night stand, a clean towel, a toothbrush and toothpaste, and numerous hooks on the walls to hang up my dirty clothes. No frills, to be sure, yet it served its purpose without costing much. And as an aside, DO NOT change money anywhere else in Hong Kong; the exchange counters right inside the CKM's front entrance on Nathan Road offer by far the best rates you're going to find.

PPatriciaThe place was decent. We were on the 14th floor, and at first it was a bit tricky to find—we just tried going up since we couldn’t reach the numbers we were given. A sign on the ground floor would definitely help. It’s basically one big flat divided into three rooms. We shared the unit with other guests (separate rooms), but we could hear some noise. The family next door had a baby, and for two nights we heard crying in the middle of the night. The bed wasn’t that comfortable—the mattress was thin, and the frame seemed like two tables put together. The staff cleaned the room only on the first and last night. On the plus side, they had enough supplies in the corridor like towels, toothpaste, and tissue, and there was also a water dispenser, which was handy.

AAnonymous UserThe lady there is super nice - great hostess and such a warm person! Facilities were decent, there is a TV and they provide toothbrush, towel albeit things were kinda old and run down. Nicely sized room and bed. Blanket is just a thin cover though, there is no duvet. Everything seemed clean EXCEPT the floors had dirt and dust, so I had to wear shoes inside the room.

GGuest UserIt's just a few minutes walk from Causeway bay tube station, on the Hong Kong Island side (like central London), the cleaner comes around and mope the floor and clean the toilet everyday, which I have heard is not the norm in a lot of similar hostels in Hongkong. Amin at the front desk is really helpful and has all the best jokes, there is also a balcony out the back of 1st Floor common area. All in all, a right bargain for what it is in Hong kong as it's one of the cheapest but for the price, definitely recommend! x
