I think this is one cool model for all the hostels to learn. Not very big slot for each to sleep, but just enough. Well organized. Clean and cozy. What need to be updated, is the cables inside the slot, plug and lighting stuff. And the wooden materials is hard for my knees to withstand when climbing into it.

I want to try and be balanced. I hate to give this place too much hate. I feel like they’re doing the best they can with the cards they’ve been dealt and the price reflects that. This being my first time to Hong Kong, I was not aware of what to expect price wise. That said, I want people to who read this to have more reasonable expectations than what the 4-5 star ratings want you to have. Location. I suppose it’s in a good location of the city but it’s in an apartment above a market like setup. As i walked into the building i was immediately pounced upon by individual after individual who seemed to be trying to rent me their own rooms. I had to just ignore them and keep walking. I don’t like being rude, but I’ve found this is the easiest way to escape. I never feel safe in situations like this especially late at night. The room was small and generally clean. I’ve left hotels in the past that were just horrid, this isn’t one of those. The mattress was comfortable but the bed was short. I feel the pillows and blankets were “clean “. But they were clean to the standards that I wash my own bedding. They were very white, but with some obvious stains that haven’t quite washed out, and one pillow appeared to have something like a blood stain visible through the pillow case. You will want to bring some sort of sleeping bag or liner. I was happy i had one. The bathroom had no toiletries. No soap, shampoo, bidet/paper. The toilet bowl was black inside and immediately began to smell of sewer gas as i was urinating. It leaked when i flushed it. Gave me quite a start. The stench stayed around for 10-20 minutes or so. After that i didn’t want to do anything else in the bathroom. I used a bottle of water to brush my teeth. I don’t know. If you’re looking at the outside of the building during the day, it’s what you’d expect. If you’re familiar with the cost of living in Hong Kong, it’s probably also what you’d expect at this price. If you just want a relatively clean place to sleep, and don’t want to spend a lot for hotels that reviewers say have the same issues, this will work. Just make sure you have your sleeping bag liner. For this price, I’d probably stay there again if they fixed the plumbing.

As I was staying for 4 nights, I was given a room which has common ammenities like a set of washing machine and dryer (which might be used to cleanup the other rooms' bedsheets after they have checked out). Room is small (no choice due to space constraints in Hong Kong). Other than the building which looks old and scary when you arrive back at the area at night, the flat / room is well-lit and looks very new. No cockroaches at the room I was given (as mentioned by some reviews) but there were a few ants here and there and I guess unavoidable due to it being a relatively old building. Most importantly, best to have a wechat acc, so you can communicate with the owner easily.

I didn't really expect much so I wasn't that disappointed. But I get where the bad reviews are coming from. If you're expecting a hotel service, you'd be disappointed. My room was really small. Rooms are situated in what seems to be an apartment unit made into small partitions. I booked a bunk bed, but I got ”upgraded” to a solo room but without a door. They just covered the door with a bedsheet haha. From what I could observe, that's the only room without door. Thought of transferring to bunk bed room a night after, but I thought I prefered having my own space even with the makeshift door. So I stayed for the next 2 nights. The owner replied fast via whatsapp. I requested for self check-in, and instructions were on point and easy to follow. At first, I thought the room I went it belonged to somebody else because there was a small luggage under the bed. Told this to the host and he said it's his. So maybe the room I was assigned to wasn't meant to be for guests. There was an electric fan in the room. What stands out is its LOCATION. Very near the subway, around 2 min walk to the exit. 7eleven and mcdo nearby. Famous dimsum resto called dim dim sum is in the same building. Ichiran ramen mong kok branch is also nearby. Hostel also has washing machine, so you can do your laundry here. Shower with heater, shampoo and body wash are availbable in the two showerooms/toilets. Overall, it is great for backpackers who just needs a place to sleep in.

I'm just saying, ”I'm not going to be able to do this.” This time, the flight became morning due to the sudden schedule change of the airline, so I couldn't stay I managed to cancel free through trip com, but it was not refundable as prescribed It can't be helped because it is a non-refundable reservation including such a risk, but ... I'm grateful if you can make it flexible ... I went to the island early because I paid for it. (I was grateful for the convenience of early check-in) to 23 I stayed for a walk on the island until around 23. I'll tell you first, this is not a hotel. You can't ask for facilities and services at a private night rather than a private lodging called a leisure shop. I feel a little expensive in terms of cospa, but I think it's a great place to understand it and touch the locals of the island. It's a 1 room in an apartment along Dongwan Beach, just off the island port. There is no front desk, and there is a stall next to McDonald's in front of the dock (along with other free shops) and there is a bargaining and reception. Auntie will kindly reception and give you a map to the key and the room. The room is in the alley of the apartment group in front of the beach, about 5 minutes walk from the receptionist, but it's a bit hard to find In an apartment that is also an islander's residence, there is a staircase No and an alphabet at the entrance of each staircase, and this combination corresponds to the ”room number”. By the way, my room was 11 DA, so I went into the stairs of 11 D and tried to enter the room of ”11 D” (other's house?). There was ”11 DA” In addition, there seems to be a room in a building that does not face the sea when choosing a room, so please examine it with a photo etc. (this room was ”sea view”) Room is small, only bed and small wall desk and toilet, but there is a small veranda, just below is the beach with ocean view and wave sound is amazing There is no air conditioning, but when you open the window and open the door of the room, the sea breeze passes (however, the room was rounded and talked to the residents on the upper floor) The shower is a type with a shower in the toilet of a Chinese cheap hotel, but you can see consideration (?), such as the toilet paper folder is completely covered or the paper is placed on the refrigerator. There is no towels and amenities, with an empty refrigerator and a dryer and a folding round table, the bed is king size and spacious As an aside, the beesan was 1 and it was convenient for walking around the island. There are many shops near the shipyard, even massage, very convenient I think it's an interesting facility if you understand and use the speciality of the facility.

The location is excellent, just a few dozen meters away from Exit A1 of Yau Ma Tei. There are tea restaurants and restaurants downstairs. Breakfast and dinner are very convenient, and it is convenient to go anywhere. The room is larger than similar hotels. The two beds are 1.35 meters tall, but the quilt is a bit thin. In Hong Kong, this room has a lot of space for a family of four.

I would say that the noise at this place is not great - but this is not down to the owner or staff who were so responsive. The receptionist was very helpful in every way. It’s a shame that locals show such little consideration and respect to others in these close quarters.

Good location close to the red line which leads to a lot of important points. The elevators take sometimes quite long. For Hongkong really affordable compared to other accommodations. The room was really small but that was expected and correctly reflected by the pictures. The roomservice included fresh towels. The bathroom is a wet bathroom. During our stay there was no water to flush the toilet so we had to use a basket which we filled under the sink. But that was a problem for the whole house in this time period, so it was not a mistake of the accommodation itself. The AC in the room is ok, but also needed for this small room with 5 people and a bit loud during the night. Beds are a quite short (everyone over 170cm will have trouble stretching out fully)
