Never even saw a hotel employee, but the check-in check-out process was super easy and didn’t require one at all. Thought the room was small, it was perfect for just a one night layover and the location was solid too. Everything was clean and modern.

This hotel offers great value for money. I went alone during Chinese New Year, and it was the cheapest option I could find in a decent location (excluding Chungking Mansions). However, I'd recommend booking directly there rather than online, as it might be even cheaper. The location is incredibly convenient, but the bathroom facilities are quite basic and a bit difficult for washing, though still manageable.

I was more satisfied than expected after checking in. The room was clean with no strange smells, and for the price, the space wasn't too cramped. The bathroom was nicely renovated. All the amenities were complete and everything I needed was there. The owner was also very kind. The only minor downsides were that the building itself is a bit old and the elevator isn't great. However, given how affordable it was, these drawbacks are completely acceptable. The room is very close to the subway station, which is super convenient, and there are lots of great restaurants and a lively atmosphere nearby, yet the room itself was surprisingly quiet.

Upon arrival, I was immediately offered a bottle of mineral water. The air conditioning was excellent, a stark contrast to hostels in mainland China; Hong Kong certainly doesn't skimp on AC. You can hear a bit of outside traffic, but once you're asleep, it's unnoticeable. The bed was really comfortable and I slept well. The outlets already have converters, so I just used their USB charging. The reception is on the 3rd floor and the rooms are on the 2nd, and there's an elevator. The bathroom is just outside the room, which is very convenient. The location is superb; there are buses nearby that go to the airport and several downtown areas. There's a tea house right across the street, and a metro station is less than a 5-minute walk away, along with a shopping mall. You can also use the pedestrian bridge nearby to walk to the temporary waterfront park across the way, then take the Star Ferry to Tsim Sha Tsui's Avenue of Stars and enjoy the sunset.

The location is absolutely perfect, right by the subway exit and with an airport shuttle bus stop nearby, making transport incredibly convenient. It's small but has everything you need, and the owner keeps it spotlessly clean. We booked a room with a view this time, and the park outside the window was beautiful. We could even store our luggage after checking out on the last day, and the owner was always quick to respond to any questions on WeChat. Overall, we're very satisfied.

Didn't expect to find an apartment run by someone from Anhui in Hong Kong! The whole experience was fantastic. The room was clean and comfortable, well-equipped, and the location was super convenient for getting around. The owner was incredibly genuine and warm, not only giving thoughtful tips for sightseeing but also being very considerate. Hearing the familiar accent was especially heartwarming. Great value for money and excellent service. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Hong Kong. Five stars, no doubt!

The owner owns 5 kinds of hotels. We book sydney hostel since this is the most recommended in chungking and we ended at their other hotel which is on other unit, 15th floor, different room and we specifically requested for 2 bed but they gave us just 1 bed. They will place you on which rook are available so when you book this, its like lottery or by luck haha. My wife was so angry to me because she's expecting sydney but they gave us the farthest and unexpected room vs the picture. Nevertheless, good service.

Fantastic location, close to Tsim Sha Tsui MTR. Clean, tidy, and with thoughtful service. Great value for money, making it easy to get around and shop. The room is compact but well-equipped, very clean, and the WiFi is fast. The owner is friendly and the location is excellent. Right in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui, with convenient transportation. The room is clean and comfortable, facilities are complete, and the service is attentive. Excellent value for money.

The room was beautiful and elegant, and the environment was quite good. The staff were warm and attentive; they were from Anhui, China, making communication very natural and friendly. The hotel's location is convenient, with many upscale shops nearby, and dining options are plentiful. It's also very close to Victoria Harbour. The price was reasonable, and I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Hong Kong.

Very good hotel for these money in comparison with the others: a new one, stylish, in the centre - you can find a lot of supermarkets and restaurants. Not far two metro stations. Girls at reception really helpful.

LLuna Blanca Ysmeralda⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a great stay at Venetian Hostel in Tsim Sha Tsui! The location is honestly one of the best things about it — it’s right in the center of everything in TST. There are so many food places just outside the building, so finding something to eat was never a problem. The MTR is also very convenient, only about a 2-minute walk from TST Station Exit D2, which made commuting around Hong Kong super easy. If you’re coming from the airport by bus, you can simply stop at bus stop #14 (Mirador Mansion), which is very close to the hostel. Another thing we appreciated was the housekeeping. They collect the trash every day, so when we came back our bins were already clean. They also changed our bedsheets and towels even though we didn’t request it, which was a really nice touch. Just a small tip: they sometimes offer room upgrades when you arrive, but you can always say NO if you want to stick with your budget. We stayed on the 13th floor, and that floor has a free water refilling station (which the other floors don’t have), so that was a big plus for us. The only downside is that the elevator in the building can be very slow, especially during busy hours. But overall, the stay was comfortable, clean, and very convenient. Great option if you’re looking for a budget place in TST!

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is ideal and easy to find, close to Yau Ma Tei MTR station. There are plenty of shops and brand-name stores nearby, offering a wide selection. Eateries and various food options are abundant, making late-night snacks convenient. The hotel rooms are well-equipped with air conditioning, and each bed has a blackout curtain. Everything is very clean, and the bathroom has ample hot water, shower gel, and shampoo. The service is excellent, highly recommended!

GGuest UserThe worker was genuinely kind and incredibly helpful. The facilities, however, were subpar. There was only one proper accessible shower, and the other required walking through a toilet area - meaning anyone using the toilet could access the shower. Space was extremely tight overall, so it’s not ideal for anyone who values comfortable room to shower or do anything that requires a bathroom. Very very tight space in the bathroom area, however they provided free toothbrushes and earplugs. The lobby and rooms were well set up with head towels and clean blankets in the bedroom, and the Japanese-style lobby was a pleasant touch. The lockers were secure with keypad access. I do recommend this if you intend to stay for one night as there’s a convenience store below, easy access to the MRT, very close proximity to the water front, and a Starbucks within 5 minutes walk.

CChiapanecooSimple and clean place to stay. Fantastic location in Kowloon, near everything on that side. Fantastic wifi. Comfortable beds with curtain. There is hot/cool drinking water. No common area. Guests are mostly mainland Chinese. Be aware of the check-in process before booking!! If you don't already have an active and unblocked WeChat account, I suggest you do not book here. - Host does not respond to Trip.com messaging. Only via WeChat (but not a WeChat account linked to the phone number in the booking confirmation) - To find the WeChat code for check-in, locate ”Tsimshatsui Mansion” on Google maps. When you arrive, find elevator #1 or #2 (see attached map), and go to the 8th floor. Other elevators won't access the room - only use those two elevators! - Once you reach the door, scan the WeChat code, send them a screenshot of your booking confirmation, and within a few minutes they'll send you the codes. (I've attached a picture of the WeChat code.) - Be advised that WeChat is incredibly difficult for many foreigners to set up. It's not a simple app like WhatsApp or Line. You often need to find a person with a mainland WeChat account (not a HK account) to authenticate you, though even that fails sometimes. Don't wait until you're at the door to try to make an account. - Without Wechat, I'm not sure if you can check-in. There was one non-Chinese guest who stood outside for a while trying to set up WeChat, until a kind neighbor happened to pass by and scanned the WeChat code for her. - Host could simply send the check-in codes via Trip.com messaging. It would make their life a lot easier and things incredibly better for non-Chinese guests. I recommend they change to doing this.

AAnonymous UserI recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and overall, it was an excellent experience that truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm and professional service provided by the staff. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and the front desk personnel were very welcoming, attentive, and helpful in answering all my questions. The room itself was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The bed was extremely comfortable, with soft linens and quality pillows that made it easy to relax after a long day. I also appreciated the thoughtful amenities provided, including complimentary toiletries, a well-stocked minibar, and reliable high-speed Wi-Fi. The room design was modern and elegant, creating a cozy and relaxing atmosphere throughout my stay. One of the highlights of my experience was the hotel’s cleanliness and attention to detail. Housekeeping did an excellent job maintaining the room daily, ensuring everything was tidy and fresh. The common areas such as the lobby, hallways, and dining spaces were equally well-kept, which reflected the hotel’s commitment to high standards. The hotel’s facilities were also impressive. The restaurant served a wide variety of delicious dishes, and the breakfast selection was especially satisfying, offering both local and international options. The amenities, including the fitness center and other recreational facilities, were well-equipped and convenient for guests who want to relax or stay active. In terms of location, the hotel is very convenient and accessible. It is situated near key attractions, restaurants, and transportation options, making it an ideal choice for both leisure and business travelers. Despite being centrally located, the environment remained peaceful and comfortable. What truly made my stay memorable was the exceptional customer service. The staff consistently went above and beyond to ensure guests felt comfortable and valued. Their friendliness, professionalism, and willingness to assist made a significant difference in my overall experience. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and excellent service. It offers great value for money and provides a pleasant, relaxing atmosphere that makes you feel at home. I would definitely stay here again and look forward to my next visit.

Ppaolou27I had the opportunity to stay at this hotel, and while there were some notable highlights, there were also areas where improvement could be made. First and foremost, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any inquiries or needs. Their hospitality truly made our stay more pleasant. The location of the hotel is undoubtedly one of its best features. It's very accessible, with a bus stop right in front of the property and an MTR station just a few steps away. This strategic spot also placed us conveniently close to popular attractions like the Avenue of Stars and a variety of famous dining spots behind the hotel, such as Cheung Hing Kee and Bakehouse. As for the rooms, while they were kept impeccably clean with daily fresh towels and duvets, they were quite small. The bathrooms, in particular, are so compact that it’s impossible to stretch your arms fully inside. Despite the size, the hotel does an excellent job of maintaining cleanliness, with tidy hallways adding to the overall positive impression. Overall, this hotel is a good choice if you prioritize accessibility and cleanliness. However, if you need more spacious accommodations, you might want to consider other options.

MMax_Nicole_When I booked I didn't knew it was in the Chungking Mansion. Its know as the ghetto. Let's start with the good thing. It has a great location, close to everything. The problem is that Chungking mansion is a massive appartement complex and has a streetmarket down. It is really unsafe according to fire safety. Everything has dust and I got really claustrophobic. The first night I didn't sleep cause I was scared of getting trapped in case of a fire. The cover of the bed was really dirty and had body liquid stains and fungus. So I end up sleeping under my disposable towel. I would have really want to go to another appartement, but I already paid really much money and a better place would have even cost way more money.

KKonstantin ProtasovWe stayed at this place in Chungking Mansions for 5 nights. We booked a room for two with separate beds and windows on two sides, which was a big plus — having windows made it possible to ventilate the room, which is not always common in this building. The room and the guesthouse overall were clean, which we really appreciated. The location is also very convenient, close to the waterfront in Kowloon and within walking distance of everything you might need. There are a few downsides to consider. The bathroom is extremely small and not very ergonomic — the toilet is positioned in such a way that when you sit on it, your legs extend outside the bathroom, making it impossible to close the door. It’s hard to imagine how three people could comfortably stay in this room. The water heater in the shower worked fine, but the hot water supply is limited. Wi-Fi is available, though not very stable. There are hot and cold water dispensers in the hallway, which is convenient. The room also has air conditioning, a ceiling fan, and a TV. A nice detail is the storage space under the beds — it’s quite spacious and practical for luggage. Overall, the price is quite low, and if you’re traveling on a budget, this can be a good value for money, especially considering the location.

CChen HuaZhiPROS: -Good location -24 hours reception -2 units per floor (I assume since we saw only 2 rooms) -elevator with a view -restaurant at the GF that opens 8am - 4pm (people smoking inside) -with hygiene kit -cold AC -MTR station is just in front of the hotel (east tst n1) CONS: -no tv -water heater turns off after a few minutes and water goes cold -bed is quite stiff (personal preference) -room is small (our room has a large structural column inside) -no complimentary water -sea view has obstructions so what you see is buildings and some sea (this i felt I was conned) - Generally our stay is ok but I won't come back if the price is over $120. You can find better hotels for the price around the area for the same price or a little lower.
