Good location convenient to the restaurants. Seaview room overlooked the Harbour. Bed mattress and duvet were very comfortable to sleep through the night. Conceige was very helpful in addition to free indoor parking and shuttle service for the guest. Will recommend this hotel.

Excellent Hotel, in a strategic and very beautiful area. The property is very clean and well maintained and the staff is very friendly and helpful. If we were to come back to Taipei, we would definitely stay here again for our stay.
Note of merit: for my husband’s birthday they prepared a nice greeting card with a lot of birthday cake of extreme quality pastry.
Thank you for the pleasant treatment!

This is a wonderful hotel I've always wanted to stay at, and it truly lives up to its elegant and beautiful appearance. We were pleasantly upgraded to a higher floor, which had a lovely balcony. From there, you can see the river in the distance and the surrounding landscape. We had a family banquet the night before, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would love to stay here again and strongly recommend it to everyone. The location is a little far, but they provides a complimentary shuttle bus from the subway station to the hotel.

I've been here many times, always choosing to come during the off-season before Chinese New Year. Both breakfast and dinner are great, and the hotel rooms have been renovated. It's a shame the macaw from before is gone. The beautiful scenery of Xiaowan Beach remains as stunning as ever.
Let's start with the positives:
The doorman, lobby manager, and front desk staff were all very professional, living up to the reputation of a renowned international hotel.
The room was spacious, bright, and clean.
Now for the negatives:
It lacks grandeur. The lobby entrance is too narrow, making it feel like a busy market when crowded.
The facilities are mediocre. The bidet toilet was installed too high; even at 172cm, my feet couldn't touch the ground when seated. The TV was incredibly small, disproportionate to the room size.
The most frustrating issue was the poor soundproofing. The guests next door in room 1225 were speaking English, and perhaps they couldn't control their volume, but I could hear their conversations clearly, which was very loud and disturbing. This was extremely disappointing.
Due to construction, the Ferris wheel was almost completely obscured. This isn't the hotel's fault, but rather an objective circumstance.
Good location, not too far away from Taroko but still quite far to Hualien. There is a small town nearby with some restaurants but we only noticed that when we left. I would advise to stay in this hotel and hike outside the park, then drive through the park as there are only advanced hike open in the park on top section.

We booked 10 nights there twice already and we will definitely book again! The location is 100/100, right in middle of the shopping area of Xinyi District! You come out from the hotel, you get the luxury vibe of Taipei. Service? Top notch! Especially Kevin at the reception who had assisted us with our extensions and room choices. We love Taipei a little extra because of our stay in Humble House.

I'm from Guangxi, and whenever I travel from Kaohsiung to Taipei, I always choose Humble House. Before Humble House opened, my family's usual choices were Le Méridien or W in the Xinyi district. My first stay at Humble House after it opened left a great impression. First, the rooms are spacious, and each one has a small living area, which is great for kids to move around. Second, the location – while it's not like Le Méridien or W where you can step out directly into a mall, it's only two traffic lights away from Dream Plaza, Breeze Center, and Shin Kong Mitsukoshi. It's a 5-minute walk from the hotel to Taipei City Hall MRT station. You can also reach [redacted - assuming a specific place or landmark] in 5 minutes from the hotel. If you walk towards the City Hall MRT station, you'll also find Songshan Cultural and Creative Park and the Taipei Arena. This location perfectly suits our family's needs. Third, the price is reasonable compared to other five-star hotels. On my most recent visit, I noticed that the bathroom facilities and furniture have been meticulously maintained since the hotel opened, and they still look spotless, especially the bathroom. My impression of the hotel has doubled!

The rooms are spacious, and a family of four can comfortably sleep in one room. The bedding is excellent, making for a very comfortable sleep. It's close to the light rail station and next to a large supermarket, so overall it's very convenient. The breakfast also meets five-star hotel standards.

DdkworksThe only good thing this hotel offers you is a stunning view of the Kaihsiung skyline, however cleanliness and staff could be improved. The hotel says it is a 5 star hotel, but in fact it only offers 3 star experience; hotel staff looks not welcoming, the rooms are quite outdated, the aircon cannot be switched for heat - it was super cold in the room and they turn the aircon for you before you check in - why? It is 15 degrees outside, why your aircon is at freezing mode?

Good
KkhtravelThe hotel's interior decor is stunning, with a strong Japanese feel. The rooms are clean and spacious, featuring a private onsen and yukata. Plus, there are complimentary drinks and snacks. If you check in around 3 PM, you can enjoy a tea ceremony performance with free green tea and snacks. Breakfast offers a wide and delicious selection!
CCaleb CreasonHotel is quite nice, staff was very friendly and room as clean and equipped nicely. Breakfast was expansive with a good selection for everyone. The location is within walking distance to many things. We took a nice walk to the science park area and visited one of the local temples. There is also a nice speakeasy bar within 10 min walk (kind of hidden past the starbucks up the hill). I would definitely recommend this hotel to business visitors or tourists as well.
AAnonymous UserThis established five-star hotel boasts excellent staff training. Ms. Marine's friendly service during check-in made us feel incredibly welcome and at home! We had booked an executive twin room, which originally had one king and one single bed, but we were upgraded to two king beds. The bathroom and toilet in the room were very clean and new, and both the bathtub and shower had very comfortable hot water. The hotel is also within walking distance of Sogo Department Store and the night market.
VvincentliuwhThe location is excellent. Turn right out of the hotel and it's a one or two-minute walk to a bustling commercial street, and only 6 minutes on foot to the popular Yishunxuan bakery. It's convenient for getting around yet relatively quiet. The hotel exterior is grand, and the lobby offers complimentary drinks and snacks. It shares outdoor hot springs and a bathhouse with Just Sleep. The R floor has a fantastic regular-temperature swimming pool and two hot spring pools with great views.
However, I wasn't a fan of the hotel's interior design. While the guest rooms are quite spacious, the layout felt cramped and stuffy. This is because the hot spring tub is located right by the window facing outside, and to ensure privacy, lattices have been installed, making it less open and airy. There's an air purifier in the room. Breakfast is on the 11th floor; the food is decent, but all the windows are completely covered by beige mesh screens. Only a little light can get through, so you have to turn on the lights even during the day, which isn't a great experience. The service attitude was very enthusiastic. The public bathhouse is small and the facilities are average. The outdoor hot springs are suitable for kids to play in. Overall, the value for money is just average.

Very Good
GGuest UserExcellent and very friendly service throughout my entire stay from doorman to concierge to front desk to housekeeping to restaurant to gym. Great location next to Shandao temple MRT and within walking distance to Taipei station, nice restaurants, cafes and the famed Fuhang soy milk. I also enjoyed the excellent lunch buffer at the hotel restaurant Kitchen 12 at incredibly reasonable price. But please note that Marriott Bonvoy platinum elite or higher tier members do not receive the usual executive lounge access or free breakfast if you book via Trip.com (you need to book directly with Marriott to enjoy the benefits).
YYK Travel 97The hotel is located near to a 24 hour super market. MRT is also within walking distance. Besides that, there are also many local delicacies nearby. Managed to find them when I’m making my way to Ximending which is roughly a 10 mins walk.
Great stay and it’s already my third visit to this hotel.
