The hotel was prompt in responding and very kindly taking note and made special arrangements for our occasion of our child's birthday and wedding anniversary celebration. We had a lovely surprise and birthday song played when we checked in to our room. Amazing scenic views of mountain and KL city night lights, and comfortable bedding that gives us good sleep. Comfortable space to spend good family time. We enjoyed very much and would love to return or recommend to our friends and relatives!
Only 2 suggestions to make: 1) the fan in our master bedroom (room 2008) makes some noise quite often during the night, good to have it checked and fixed to not affect guests' experience, and 2) if only the shower area in the bathrooms have a door to avoid water splashing out to the toilet area.
The hotel amenities are comfortable, complete, and well-maintained, offering excellent value for money. The only minor drawback is the walk required to get between the hotel and Genting (approximately 13-15 minutes), which can be a bit challenging for older family members. However, the hotel itself is impeccable. I would highly recommend it for friends, colleagues, close friends, and large families.
TFantastic Family Escape – Kids Loved the Pool & Beach!
Rating: 4.5/5
We had an absolute blast at Swiss-Garden Kuantan! If you’re looking for a family getaway that keeps the kids entertained, this is the spot.
The Highlights:
Kid-Approved: The pool area with the slide was a massive hit—my kids (3, 9, & 11) couldn't get enough of it.
Beachside Bliss: The location is perfect, with easy access to a beautiful, clean beach that we really enjoyed.
Nightly Entertainment: The fire show for hotel guests was a fantastic surprise and a great way to end the day.
Top-Tier Service: A huge shoutout to the staff—they were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our entire stay.
Breakfast Win: The breakfast spread was seriously good!
Pro-Tip for Guests:
The breakfast buffet gets very busy during peak hours, and you might have to wait for a table. My advice: plan your timing to head down a bit earlier to beat the rush and secure your spot comfortably.
Trip was once again amazing.

Con:

Overall : Recommended, value for money, convenient and comfortable stay.
We had a wonderful stay! The location is unbeatable, offering beautiful beach views and a great variety of food options within easy reach. The hotel itself is spotless and well-kept, and our family suite offered plenty of space and very comfortable bedding.
We spent a lot of time at the Sampan Bar, which quickly became our favorite spot. Between the great music, refreshing drinks, and the ability to watch the kids play on the beach, it was perfect. A big shout-out to the team at Sampan for the awesome service!
Also, for anyone driving an EV, it’s convenient that they have a Shell Recharge station. Note that only Port 1 was working during our visit, but it’s still a great facility to have on-site.
We had a great 2 nights stay at Antara Genting. Rooms are clean. The bed and pillow are comfortable. The weather is so cold that we didn’t even need to switch on the fan or aircond throughout our stay. Took us about 16 mins walk/about 1235 steps from Antara Link Bridge to Sky Avenue. Will definitely be coming back again.
Facilities: The facilities are quite complete. It was a weekend when we went, so there were a lot of people at the pool. The water looked yellowish and smelled strongly of chlorine, so we didn't dare to use it. The elevators were a bit slow. The air conditioning and hot water in the room were both good. There's a Hard Rock Cafe upstairs.
Cleanliness: The room was clean and tidy, but on the first night, we found small cockroaches in our room. When we reported it to the front desk manager the next morning, she just said she would have staff clean and deal with it, and if we still saw cockroaches after returning to the room, they would give us a new room. I even argued with her that this wasn't about the room being dirty; cockroaches wouldn't just disappear after cleaning. But she refused to change our room. As a result, when we returned to the room in the afternoon, we found two or three more small cockroaches, so we went straight to the front desk. The assistant front desk manager in the afternoon had a much better attitude, apologized sincerely, and immediately changed our room. She even gave us her phone number and told us to call her directly if we had any problems.
Environment: There are not many dining options nearby; it's more convenient to drive. The environment is quiet and secluded. If you stay in a mountain view room, you can see the mountains from the balcony.
Good thing about this apartment is, air cond is good, and it’s relatively clean. I will write what I see, the bedsheets and quilt cover is full of stains, it’s really time to change new sets. There is no separate air cond split unit inside small room with single bed. The under sink pipe in dining area came off during our stay, good thing is management sent repairman within 30minutes. Quite a number of eateries near the apartment, this is a plus point. Beach access was good.
One-night last-minute stay at The Kasturi Resort, Cherating with my husband and two kids. First time here and overall satisfied. Calm, relaxing resort and we enjoyed the spa. However, there is no kids’ club, so it may be better suited for couples or families whose kids enjoy quieter activities. Still a pleasant and refreshing short stay.

AAnonymous UserI had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The service was excellent—the staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help. The location was very convenient, with easy access to nearby at restaurants, and took only 10 minutes to GPO & Cable Car station (Awana Skyway). The food was delicious, offering a wide variety of options for breakfast and dinner. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable experience, and I would highly recommend this hotel to others.
GGuest UserThis was our 1st stay in the resort and it turned out to an interesting & awesome experience!
We checked-in on 11th of March & checked-out on 13th of March. I booked a 2-single bed room but the hotel given us a king bed room at the upper floor. After talking to the front desk. I was told only king bed room was available. However, my wife didn't have a good night sleep as she was having light sleep, so easily waken-up due to noise & movement. The upper floor somehow was noisy due to the traffic outside the hotel. We have no choice but to feedback to the hotel manager on the 2nd day. The manager Ms Su was kind enough and upgraded us to a 2 bedroom suite on the ground floor, with 2 single beds & a king bed. That made our 2nd night slept peacefully. Thanks Ms Su of her attentiveness.
The morning breakfast was a ala carte menu of Malaysian & western cuisine. Not a fantastic food but the service given by the professional F&B staffs made the experience so pleasant! Sincere thanks to F&B supervisor Santhosh & staff Myint of their attentive service.

MmrseyzaaaBooking at the same day and last minute, attract from the kids pool and room. Book for one studio room, and when arrive. They said the room is full and they upgrade to family room. My kids love that room so much and so big. Also the cleaness and facility everything is good. My kids got play at kids pool and other pool also.. we have so much fun and memory in here. Definitely will be myfav place whenever i come to genting highland in the future !!
GGuest UserThe environment for the room is very nice and there is a nice view outside. And also they do have wine glasses in the room and me and my husband can have wine time during the jacuzzi. During morning time you can see the nice view and be able to see the temple. There is also a linked bridge to the outdoor theme park and enjoy our time there. There is also a gym room and indoor swimming pool downstairs. Next time I will bring my family to come and stay here again.
AAnonymous UserFantastic! I absolutely loved it. Everything was so simple and straightforward. The self-check-in process was a breeze – no need to bother anyone. The customer service staff were also wonderful 😊. Nice and very good!

MMystery solvedThe stay was good, clean, and easy access to the mall, casino and sky avenue. However be prepared for a 100m run from the entrance to your hotel room, it is actually wide enough and quite a nice walk 🤭 staff were well trained and attentive to any needs or questions you may have, not sure what amenities the hotel has as there wasn’t any that had directional cues for guests, so I’m guessing there aren’t any? I may be wrong
