My initial impression of Royal Plaza Hotel in Hong Kong was quite good.
The location is very close to the school, and the room's facilities and city view seemed nice. The bathtub was large, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offered a good view.
However, at 3 PM, a bump inexplicably appeared on my foot. I thought it was just a regular mosquito bite and didn't pay much attention to it. But around 8 PM, two or three more bumps appeared on my body. By 11 PM, I had accumulated five or six red, swollen, itchy, and unbearable bites. I suspected bed bugs. I never expected to encounter them at this hotel.
I called the front desk to report the situation, and the hotel arranged a room change. Although the room change went smoothly, I was worried about getting bitten again and was on edge all night, so I didn't sleep well.

Fengqishizaihaibian。Based on my experience of having traveled to over 40 countries and stayed in the top family-friendly hotels in Hong Kong, this hotel is definitely worth recommending. The room is very spacious, and you can see the sea and ships from the bed. Most importantly, Jimmy at the front desk deserves a special shout-out; his service attitude was excellent. I originally planned to stay for just one night, but ended up extending my stay by two more nights, all thanks to his comprehensive and friendly service. The swimming pool is large, and the breakfast is abundant, offering better value for money than other hotels.

Ms. Kim01When choosing a hotel, I always check the bedding first because I have sensitive skin. I also prioritize transportation, location, and room cleanliness, and the Four Seasons Hotel satisfied all my expectations. The staff were friendly, the hotel pool had a great view, and the in-hotel restaurants and bar were also top-notch! The view from the room was also incredibly beautiful, making for a delightful trip. I was worried about the heat or typhoons since it was a July trip, but the weather was fantastic, and the fact that the IFC Mall is connected to the hotel made getting around easy, which made the trip even better. I highly recommend the Four Seasons Hotel! 👍👍👍

Guest UserI stayed in the Premier Seaview Room. It was newly renovated and came with a smart toilet. Although it didn't feel like the stated 45 square meters, the layout was cleverly designed. The toilet and shower room were completely separate and independent. Even though the toilet wasn't large, it featured a cleverly designed mini-washbasin, and both washbasins were equipped with wall-mounted hand soap dispensers, which was a thoughtful touch. The shower room had glass on two sides, and the Dyson hairdryer was conveniently placed on a small shelf. Despite the heavy rain in Hong Kong these past few days, the sea view was still quite nice. The large sofa by the window was very comfortable, and the wardrobe near the entrance, though seemingly small, had storage compartments, making it very practical. Compared to other luxury hotels in Hong Kong, this one offers good value for money.

Happy family TravelerI cannot recommend this hotel enough, but the true highlight of our stay was the incredible service from Jennie and Christopher at the front desk. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel like VIPs.
Christopher checked us in with a warm smile and incredible efficiency. He took the time to explain the hotel amenities and gave us fantastic local recommendations that we wouldn't have found on our own. His genuine enthusiasm for the city was contagious!
Jennie was equally amazing. She went above and beyond to help us with a special request regarding our room and even remembered our names whenever we passed by the lobby. Her professionalism and kindness truly made our stay memorable.
The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, and perfectly located—but it’s the staff that make a place feel like home. Thanks to Jennie and Christopher, this was one of the best hotel experiences we've ever had. We will definitely be back!

Guest UserAfter booking the room, the hotel's customer relations department proactively reached out to ask about my arrival time and if I needed any assistance. Check-in was smooth and friendly, and I was pleasantly surprised with complimentary fruit and a welcome card in my room – a really thoughtful touch. The hotel's location is also superb; it's less than a 10-minute walk from West Kowloon Station, making it incredibly convenient for getting around by MTR and bus during my stay in Hong Kong. The W Hotel will definitely be my first choice next time I visit Hong Kong.

MinixiaoxiaoxiaominerThe room was very clean and tidy. We booked a king-sized bed, and both the mattress and pillows were soft. There was also a small sofa bed, which would be perfect if you have kids. The only minor issue was that the air conditioning fan was a bit loud. The hotel also offers a shuttle service, and the surrounding area is very nice.

Guest UserMy kids always stay at this hotel for a night when they transit back to Canada because it's just so convenient. The shuttle bus to Tung Chung MTR and Citygate Outlets is super handy. The hotel gym is also good, and my kids always make use of it. The breakfast offers a mix of Chinese and Western options with a great variety. The hotel service is particularly noteworthy; their flexible check-in times are why we choose to stay here again and again! When convenience is this good, there are no downsides!

Anonymous UserThis hotel offers incredible value for money! While its location might not boast the direct Victoria Harbour and Central views like the Kowloon Shangri-La, the Kerry Hotel faces the distant Kai Tak, providing an even more expansive sea view and an equally stunning night view. The surrounding area features upscale hotels, residential complexes, and schools along the waterfront, making it clean and orderly. There's a large plaza downstairs, which isn't noisy, and it's very pleasant to jog or stroll along the seaside promenade. A large AEON supermarket is just a short distance away, fully stocked with everything you could need, including reliable ingredients. The hotel is very close to Whampoa MTR station, and the ferry terminal is practically on its doorstep. The breakfast is rich, a perfect blend of Chinese and Western options, and it's never crowded. The service from the front desk, restaurant staff, housekeeping, and doormen is all top-notch, and everyone is incredibly friendly. The shower has fantastic water pressure, both powerful and gentle, and the room is spotlessly clean, feeling like a brand-new hotel. If I had to offer a suggestion, I'd hope the hotel would provide two complimentary bottles of mineral water daily. While the mini-bar offers a good selection of free drinks, not everyone might enjoy them, especially since mineral water is a standard offering in most hotels on the mainland. All in all, the Kerry Hotel was the biggest surprise of our summer trip to Hong Kong! I sincerely hope the hotel maintains its excellent service!

Guest UserThe hotel's location is absolutely fantastic. It's right in front of the mall's side entrance as soon as you exit Metro Station C. Turn right when you leave the hotel and you'll find the bus terminal, with direct routes to HKUST, Zigong, and the airport. For the airport, you can take bus A28, and there's even A28X in the morning for early flights. Plus, there are several long-distance bus stops for mainland China. All in all, the transportation is incredibly convenient.
