We had a pleasant one-night stay at Royal Plaza Hotel as a family. The hotel is modern, clean, and well-located, making it a convenient base for our short trip. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and we appreciated the high-quality amenities. The beds were comfortable, providing a relaxing environment for us to rest. The location is excellent, being directly connected to the MOKO shopping mall, which offered easy access to shopping and dining. The hotel’s proximity to public transport also made it easy to get around Hong Kong. However, one downside was the noisy air conditioning in our room, which made it difficult to sleep comfortably at times. The noise was a bit distracting, which took away from an otherwise pleasant stay. Additionally, while the hotel offers a lot of great features, we did feel it might not be the most kid-friendly option, as there weren’t many child-focused amenities or activities. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and Royal Plaza Hotel is a solid choice for a family looking for a comfortable and convenient hotel. Just be aware of the aircon noise and consider other options if you're traveling with younger children.

Disneyland Area
I recently stayed at Disney Explorers Lodge for two nights, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The hotel is beautifully themed with a lot of attention to detail, offering a peaceful, nature-inspired atmosphere. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, perfect for families or anyone looking to unwind. One thing to note is that the location is a bit removed from nearby restaurants and shopping areas, which might be a bit inconvenient if you're looking to explore the surrounding area. If you're mainly interested in staying on the resort, this won't be an issue, but for those wanting to venture out, the limited options nearby could feel a bit isolating. For me, two nights felt like a bit much, and I think one night would have been sufficient for the experience, especially considering the distance from other amenities. However, the overall experience was still enjoyable, and I'd recommend it if you're looking for a relaxing stay away from the hustle and bustle.

The hotel room is fine. I was planning to book it for wedding day, but knowing the price of wedding purpose room is 3 times more expensive than the same room that not for wedding, it’s way too overpriced!!’ Especially we are not doing any deco or needed a parking whatsoever. Therefore, we booked the hotel next door which gave us opposite experience and it costed us 3000 more instead of 10K.

I have stayed in this hotel several times. It offers a nice sea view and comfortable beds, and there is a shuttle bus from the MTR station. However, there are not many restaurant choices. Room service provides a good variety of options, and there is a 20% discount on the parking fee of $500 for 24 hours.

New World Millennium Hong Kong Hotel: Harbour Views & Bridal Shower Fun! So, I recently stayed at the New World Millennium Hong Kong Hotel for a girls' night/bridal shower, specifically booking a Harbour View Room for the occasion. 🎉 The lobby's pretty grand, with high ceilings and a cool circular skylight. ✨ Check-in was smooth and the staff were friendly. 👍 The elevators have little sofas by them – nice touch! The room itself (around 300 sq ft) was spacious enough, but the decor is a bit dated and nothing too exciting. It's a bit old-school, you know? 🤷♀️ Carpet floors, which I'm not a huge fan of, but they were clean. The highlight, of course, was the harbour view! 🌃 While not quite as dramatic as the official website photos, it was still a decent view of Victoria Harbour, definitely worth it for the price. The room had everything we needed: a comfy king-size bed 🛌 (just the right firmness), bedside lamps, power outlets, and USB charging ports on both sides – super convenient for phones and gadgets. Electric curtains, too! The minibar had a kettle, free bottled water, and a quirky antique-looking bronze ice bucket – loved that detail! Inside the minibar drawers were coffee cups, tea bags, coffee sachets, etc. The bathroom had a separate shower and a big bathtub – perfect for a relaxing soak! 🛁 The toiletries were from Borghese, which smelled great and were pretty good quality. The sink area was a decent size with plenty of space for our stuff, plus hand soap, lotion, and the usual disposable amenities. Overall, the New World Millennium Hong Kong Hotel offers decent value for money. 💰 While the decor could use an update, the location is great (right by Hung Hom MTR station), the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the service is good. If you're looking for an affordable harbour view hotel, this is a solid option. But if you're after trendy design and luxury, this might not be the place for you. 🤔 Pros: 📍 Convenient location near the MTR 🌃 Harbour views (though not exactly as advertised!) Spacious and comfortable rooms 🛀 Bathtub! 🧴 Nice Borghese toiletries 💁🏻♀️ Friendly service Cons: Outdated decor Carpet floors (not for everyone) View not quite as pictured 💲 Value is okay, but not amazing

Service of hotel staff incl housekeeping etc are 5+. They are all polite, helpful, and responsive with smile. I visited other resort hotels in HK, this is the best. It was almost 20+ years ago when I visited here with my kids. Facilities for kids are much more than before. Rooms are still in good conditions. Carpets and amenities are clean. The only drawback is the noise from swimmers at the beach in early morning. Light sleeper can choose to avoid seaview with balcony.

Regrettably, our family endured a series of unpleasant stay during the New Year countdown at this apartment hotel. We deliberately chose this hotel for its renowned artistry and exceptional artistic offerings. With its esteemed status as a luxury hotel, our expectations were set high not only for the hotel's architectural and craftsmanship standards, but also for its service quality. Alas, our experience left much to be desired, as the hotel felt more like an apartment hotel rather than a luxury hotel. Unfortunately, the level of service provided fell well below our expectations. The check-in procedure was notably slow, and we waited nearly 50 minutes for our luggage before having to remind the staff. The duty manager exhibited a disappointing lack of professionalism and courtesy while addressing our inquiries regarding our booking. He drew incorrect conclusions from our outward appearance, causing us to feel offended. We noticed a lack of attention to detail, such as the inconveniently placed buttons for the curtains and blinds. For instance, the button to close the bathroom blind was inconveniently hidden inside the bathroom cabinet, it hard to find for the first time which we have to contact the staff for help. Also the shower door cannot close properly during our stay. Furthermore, we were surprised to discover that certain bathroom amenities came with an additional charge. The journey from the lobby to our hotel room proved to be quite perplexing for first-time guests. The process involved taking a lift to the 10th floor, navigating through the 10th-floor area, and then taking another lift to reach our room. The breakfast is served at level 10, the only cafe restaurant within this apartment. The breakfast is à la carte set menu instead of buffet style, priced at approximately $200 HK dollars per set. As one of the priciest hotels in Hong Kong, it is challenging to justify the steep costs associated with staying here. Other hotels in the vicinity offer superior views and service, such as the Regent and Peninsula. It is difficult to pinpoint any distinctive features or experiences that would validate the considerable expense.

Highly recommended for families. This is its own little town with supermarket, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and pharmacy. We took the free morning shuttle to Disney and had a wonderful time. Very convenient and cost effective. The breakfast buffet is nice and the Christmas decor was superb. We will definitely be staying again. Just wish the hotel had an ATM machine
