5-Star Hotels in Tibet, China

The hotel was newly renovated. Manager Wangjiu was very welcoming and even upgraded our room. The room was spacious and quiet, with oxygen supply. We went to Sakya the next day because we had a good night's rest and it wasn't tiring. This was my first time staying at a Hilton hotel this year; I'd always stayed at other hotels, and it was quite good.

I stayed at the Chomulangzong in Shigatse again after a few years, and the feeling I had was still good. First of all, its location is very convenient. The hotel provides pick-up and drop-off services when going to Tashilhunpo Monastery during the day. Drinks were also provided when checking in. I washed my clothes in the hotel, which was very convenient. It was great. The staff was very helpful. I will stay here again next time.

Great hotel, large room (was upgraded for free to Suite), clean. Marshal at reception was friendly and attentive. Large variety at breakfast, although the western options are still slightly limited. Would be nice to have greek yoghurt and more cereal choices. Chinese options are great. Joy (waitress at breakfast) was very good and deserves a mention!

The room was spotless, and the view of the Potala Palace from here was absolutely breathtaking. The hotel is perfectly situated right behind and to the right of the Potala Palace, making my windowsill my 'personal viewing platform': At midday, wisps of clouds drifted across its white walls and golden roofs, as if a breathing quilt was draped over the ancient palace; In the evening, the setting sun painted the Red Palace a honeyed hue, and as prayer flags fluttered in the wind, they seemed like countless hands applauding it; The moment the night lights came on, the entire palace suddenly 'came alive' – like an ancient ship moored in the darkness, carrying the stories of the Tubo Dynasty, slowly sailing towards the myriad lights of modern Lhasa. The complimentary biscuits were delicious, and the other snacks were great too! The butler and front desk service were warm and attentive. I arrived close to 2 PM, having not yet eaten, and the small eatery they recommended – the third shop after turning right from the hotel – was absolutely delightful.

It was great. A smiling ******* guy helped with the luggage and presented a white Hada. The front desk lady introduced it very carefully. I experienced the smart high-tech products in the room. The mobile phone opened the door and controlled the air conditioning, lights and curtains in the room. Even the toilet was smart and warmed up. The room was clean and hygienic, and the bedding was also high-end with high-end latex pillows. Oxygen supply and heating in the whole house are very necessary to relieve discomfort when just entering Tibet. The breakfast is also very rich, with freshly ground coffee, Nestle coffee, Qingchawan cheese milk tea, ******* sweet tea, butter tea, freshly squeezed mango juice, orange juice, and 8 or 9 kinds of fruits, as well as freshly cooked noodles, rice noodles, hot and sour noodles: Luohan bamboo shoots stewed with fresh ******* yak meat, fresh ******* chicken, and ginkgo chicken soup stewed with local wild angelica in Nyingchi are very delicious. The facilities and services are great 👍👍👍 I will come again next time

The service is the worst of all hotels where we have stayed worldwide. It is worse than even any 1-star rated hotel in China. Right from the entry, the check in is chaotic. No one attends to luggage. It takes 2 hours to do formalities and return passports. In Room dining, the order is a huge challenge. They take 2 hours to take order and deliver the food after 1 hour, when they serve only the food in a plate. No seperate dishes or any cutliaries (spoon or fork or chopsticks ... nothing provided). When you point these out, they say sorry and take another 1 hour to bring plates, chop sticks etc. BY now 5 hours passed and food is so cold and not eatable. This is a regular scenario ... repeated 3 times, I.e. everything we placed an order. It's a huge challenge. On amenities, the beds are extremely uncomfortable. If you just take a turn while sleeping, the other person is sure to wake up. They call king size bed .. it's two seperate beds kept side by side with cheap quality spring mattress. On breakfast, it's very limited and every day same menu. No varieties, the food taste is horrible as well. Extremely bad experience.for the price that is paid. The feeling has been a complete waste of money, sleepless nights, staying hugry and waiting for food post order for 5.hours every time we ordered room dining. The same situation in restaurent as well.

From the moment I stepped into the hotel door, I was moved by the atmosphere of this hotel. Outside the window is the snow-capped mountain of Nanga Bawa Peak. The room opens the window, as if the whole snow-capped mountain is in front of you, shocking and quiet. There is a viewing platform on the top of the hotel. Whether it is the clouds in the morning or the glow in the evening, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery in the room. Especially when the peach blossoms are in full bloom in spring, the snow-capped mountains and pink peach blossoms are shining, it is like a painting. There is also a pool outside the yard, which can easily take a reflection of Nanga Bawa Peak! Perfect! The room layout is very careful, the wooden structure makes people feel particularly warm, the bedding is soft, and the hygiene is in place. Hot water, water pressure, floor heating are very stable, and I sleep well at night. The young lady at the front desk was very enthusiastic and took the initiative to help carry luggage and introduce surrounding attractions. Also intimately remind the best viewing time. Provides very good emotional value! Breakfast is very careful, there are simple Chinese and Western meals suitable for children. There are tables and chairs in the public area, chatting and watching the stars at night, so pleasant! Summary: a perfect stay experience Whether it is location, service, landscape or comfort, this hotel is impeccable. Very suitable for couples, friends or bring children to stay for a few days. Next time I come to Nyingchi, I will definitely choose here!

The hotel is right next to the Sakya Temple, a 5-minute walk away. The room facilities are very good and the layout is very careful. The bathroom is separated from wet and dry and the hot water is very good. The breakfast variety is very rich and the taste is very good. The parking lot is next to the hotel. You need to put your luggage at the entrance of the hotel and then park the vehicle. It takes three or five minutes to walk. Overall it feels very good hotel, it is recommended!

Never experienced such a high-quality hotel service, the service of the manager Xinyi is so intimate! Facilities: Very new, Hilton level online, basically every floor has a terrace. Service: perfect! Manager Xinyi is warm and caring, and other staff are also very good.

The handmade incense making experience class of Teacher Zhao and Sister Ram allows adults and children to calm down and feel the local customs and customs, and very patiently satisfies the children's curiosity and thirst for knowledge. The afternoon tea in the hotel lobby bar must be experienced, and the breakfast is very rich. The Yajiang fish, ******* incense pork chops, and stone pot chicken at Linzhi Banquet on the first floor must be tried. Basically, we have three meals in the hotel restaurant. Teacher Zhao also personally sent us our own ******* incense as a souvenir, and the children were very excited. When we left, Manager Li drove us to the airport in person. There are many five-star hotels with good service, but there are definitely not many five-star hotels that provide such meticulous service throughout the journey!
