4-Star Hotels in Sabah, Malaysia

The hotel was unique in its design. The room was spacious for 3 and the interior design of the room was great. Toilet, bathroom and bathtub were separated and we had all face no problem when we need them Breakfast however was slightly below expected, the fruits were not so sweet and the cereals was a let down. It does not taste like original coco crunch and corn flakes. But other than that other food were okay for hotel level. On the service, all the staff there were excellent and I had a wonderful stay throughout and ya they do also provide laugage storage in case you have a later flight. It could have been awesome shall there be swimming pool available which were allowed for homestay residence only But overall, I do love this hotel in terms of their service and design. .

First of all , we do have delay a bit because there’s an error with the management of the access card which, they give us the wrong suite, and the suite already have guest inside. We have to wait for few minutes, to get our room. (Maybe you can double check so u didnt do the same fault again next time )  But overall me and my family so satisfied with the stay. The suite is cozy, and clean.  The staff also very friendly, and helpful.  When i ask for iron, they provide it ASAP.  Im satisfied, keep your good works and im happy to stay here again in the future 🥰🥰

This was my third time staying at the Kaseh Hotel in Kota Kinabalu, and I brought my mother along for a trip. As always, the stay was incredibly satisfying! Service: The front desk staff were warm and helpful, offering check-in services in both Chinese and English. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and plentiful, with a wide variety of dishes that my mother particularly enjoyed. When cleaning the room, they always replenished necessary disposable items and even helped tidy up clothes on the bed and toiletries in the bathroom, which was very thoughtful. Cleanliness: The hotel was clean and tidy, with daily room cleaning service. Environment: The location is extremely convenient. Taking a Grab to city attractions is always within a ten-minute drive, making it easy to get to Sutera Harbour for island hopping and Gaya Street. There are also many restaurants and convenience stores nearby. It's only about a ten-minute Grab ride from the airport, so there's no need to wake up extra early to catch a flight. Getting around to and from the hotel is very convenient. Facilities: As always, the facilities are complete. You can take hotel towels with you for island hopping and snorkeling, just remember to return them. There are plenty of drying racks, perfect for hanging clothes. There's also an outdoor swimming pool. Hope to see Kota Kinabalu again next time!

Absolutely loved this hotel! It was originally hard for three of us to find a suitable place, and we were considering Airbnbs, but then I stumbled upon their three-bedroom apartment and immediately booked it. We were so pleasantly surprised when we walked in; it was definitely the best hotel of our trip!

The hotel was clean and well-maintained, and the sea-view room offered beautiful views. However, the room faced a busy street, resulting in significant noise from motorcycles and traffic, which affected the overall stay. Another downside was the elevator outage. After a long wait, I had to walk down 19 floors using the stairs. The hotel could have addressed the issue more quickly to minimize the inconvenience and impact on guests.

i have a pleasent stay at this place. the cleanliness is great. what i like the most is the ease of check-in procedures. and i also like the availablity to extend the check-out time.

Had a lovely stay at The Cara Hotel! 😊 The staff were incredibly friendly and always greeted us with a smile, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The lobby and rooms are beautifully designed, cozy, and comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised when the hotel upgraded us to a Dusk Room, which made our stay even more special. Another thoughtful touch was the handwritten welcome letter prepared for guests, it really showed their attention to detail and hospitality. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and had a relaxing atmosphere. Thank you for the wonderful experience. We’ll definitely be back again! ❤️

We had pleasant 2 nights stay. The room size is perfect. I’m surprised with the mini kitchen. Almost all basic cooking tools are there. There’s filtered water. Didn’t get to use the swimming pool. Will visit some other time.

The room was fantastic, very clean, and designed as a one-bedroom, one-living room unit, which was perfect and very comfortable for a family trip. The location is also excellent, right above Gaya Street, so it's less than a 10-minute walk. What's even better is the host's amazing service; you can contact them before check-in. The host sets up a WeChat group and provides all check-in information in Chinese, which was incredibly helpful. Compared to other overseas hotels where you have to communicate in English, what the host did here was truly outstanding!
