5-Star Hotels in Johor, Malaysia

This time, the air conditioning in the room wasn’t as cool as during my previous stay. It might be due to energy-saving measures, but it did affect the overall comfort. I contacted maintenance on the first night as the room felt warm at 25°C. After servicing, the temperature improved to 23°C. However, it gradually increased again — 24°C the next day and back to 25°C on the day before check-out. With the current humid and warm weather, I hope the air-conditioning system can be better maintained to ensure a more comfortable stay for guests. Other than the air-conditioning issue, I really enjoyed the location. It’s very convenient, with massage services, food options, pedicure, and hair treatments all located just next to the hotel, which made the stay much more enjoyable.

trip time: 16feb-17feb 2026. As a rider, I didnt expect the security guard to be so friendly and polite during my trip. i arrived at the hotel to verify whether there is motorcycle parking. yes indeed , even for motorcycle - i could just use the roadside parking but probably due to my phobia or unfamiliarity as a foreigner with the place. So, SGreans welcome over here, is safe! Despite not booking the hotel at that point of time yet, the security remain polite and patient when i try to ask for shelter as it was raining. Yes, once inside the lobby, i immediately went to buy drinks for the guard and book a room immediately. well , i book through 3rd party app seems to be a increase in 10+ sgd but is fine can afford it - moral of this sentence is book early. The receptionist is welcoming, smiling:) They speak fluent English, wasted should come work in SG. facilities wise considered sufficient- didn't manage to use their facilities . spacious room which includes a working desk, mini chair. what they emphasize was their pillow, was more comfortable than their hardened bed. given 4 pillows just for 1 person. yes, i slept on the pillows instead of bed. for those that driving or riding, this hotel is very accessible via the highway. less than 100-200metres away. shopping facilities and eateries are all nearby. I was very satisfied with my stay this time! I originally booked a queen room, but to my surprise and delight, the hotel thoughtfully upgraded me to two rooms for free. It was a wonderful surprise and truly touched me. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the space was very comfortable. The overall atmosphere was relaxing. The staff's service attitude was excellent, and they handled things efficiently, making the entire check-in process very smooth. This experience exceeded my expectations. I will definitely come back again if I have the chance and will also recommend it to my friends!

First time stay Capri by Fraser jb, the experience is so amazing! It is very clean, staff friendly and they also provide us many snacks for welcoming gift during the New Year Festival. Very recommended!

Place is so near the CIQ and near the mall (JB Central and KOMTAR JBCC) and many food place to eat at the 2nd and 1st Floor. They accomodated my request in high floor. Room is spacious and complete toiletries (lack of comb only😂 but neglegible). Breakfast can be improved the choices in western cuisine but the locals might enjoy the spread. OVerall we have enjoy our stay!

A hotel that i like that is far from the noisy part of jb. Place for me to just chill and sleep, after a day out to shop and makan. Hungry at night or early morning order food, pickup eat on bed and watch TV. Room is big and clean, aircon strong and make me sleep until tomorrow. Toilet water also hot, feel shiok. Washing machine, shiok I wash clothes then go back can relax no need wash. Then cny strike midnight, fireworks just out side my balcony. Nice but I scared le, keep shooting fireworks till early morning. Feel like going to hit my balcony. Whole place smoky like got fog. Scary experience, adventure! Everything is good, but just during checkout the staff looks like a senior staff serving me no expression, no words, shocking by such service.

Unit was clean. Just enough for 4-5 pax. I wish the toilets had hooks or rods to hang the clothes and towels. They asked for deposit and mentioned it will be returned 48 hrs after checkout. 2 weeks already passed and it has not been returned.

Stayed at Forest City Golf Hotel and overall it was a very satisfying trip this year. The staff were friendly and polite, and the service was great. The room was comfortable and well-equipped 👍 Just a small note: the swimming pool looks a bit old, and some tiles are coming off. It would be good for the hotel to fix this for safety.
