I spent 4 days and 3 nights at Royale Signature Hotel, and honestly, it turned out to be one of the most pleasantly surprising stays in Alor Setar! From check-in to check-out, everything felt smooth and welcoming — the staff genuinely made me feel like a guest, not just a booking number. The room was spacious, bright, and thoughtfully equipped with all the essentials: comfy bed, soft pillows, mini-fridge, and a spot-perfect workspace. The sleep quality was impressive… though, full disclosure, the soundproofing could use an upgrade — I could occasionally hear faint hallway sounds. Nothing deal-breaking, but something to note if you’re a deep sleeper. Location-wise, it’s a winner. Walking distance to Aman Central, local cafés, and Alor Setar Tower made exploring effortless. High floors also offer a lovely city view — perfect for morning coffee or sunset photos. Little touches made my stay memorable: complimentary Wi-Fi that never faltered, modern toiletries, and those small staff gestures that made a difference — smiles, helpful directions, and quick responses whenever I needed something. My stay at frangipani was better than what I expected. The resorts location is ideal for island vacation, perfect blend of untouched beach and resorts ecosystem is extraordinary. The staff is very helpful, polite and attentive. I found my room was very clean plus house keeping was to the point. The swimming pools are maintained well. All in all I would say its a perfect place to stay for couples and families. I would come back here again.

My wife and I recently stayed here and overall, we had an enjoyable experience. The room was reasonably priced and offered good value for money. We especially liked the cozy atmosphere, and the convenience of having parking right in front of the room made our stay even more comfortable. However, there are a few areas for improvement. The air conditioning was directed straight towards the bed, which made it quite cold during the night. Basic amenities like a toothbrush were not provided, so it’s better to bring your own. Additionally, the water pressure in the shower was a bit slow. Despite these minor issues, we still had a pleasant stay and would consider coming back again.

I claimed trip point and just pay only rm100 for standard room. It comes with breakfast for 2 pax. Cheap. Near to everything including Mixue. valet park only rm32. Recommended!

There was a slight issue during check-in regarding my booking. I had booked a room with breakfast for 2 adults and 1 child, but the front counter mentioned that their system only showed breakfast for 2 adults. After I showed them the details from my Trip.com booking, they still needed some time to recheck before finally confirming it. It was a bit troublesome, but thankfully the matter was resolved. On the positive side, the room was spacious, comfortable, and very clean. TV channel options were rather limited, though. The highlight of our stay was definitely the hotel’s flexibility in allowing us a late check-out after afternoon prayer without any hassle or unnecessary questions, which we truly appreciated. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would gladly come again in the future.

The amenities were great,( i didnt try, but they look nice), nice infinity pool, located at the beach side. Breakfast area was nice, great deaogn, food variation was okay. I get to enjoy a nice sunset at the beach. The downside is the cleanliness of the room. The room smells of cigarette, so I asked for room freshener. They came and sprayed, but the smell still linger. I didnt say anything since I was quite tired. The floor was not vacuum, I can feel the sand on the floor when I stepped into the room, there are a lot at the room entrance. I had to wear slipper everytime. The space near the toilet was a bit cleaner, but still can feel the sand. It is not comfortable to pray. The WC was dirty, got yellowish stain at the bowl. The check in experience was not really smooth for me. I arrived at 1pm, asking if I can check in early, and they said the room was not ready, so I understand. I waited for 40 minutes, but it was still not ready. Then I went out for work, came back at 6.30 pm, but the check in was still not ready, and I need to wait for a while to get my room card even though they said that a room was assigned, I thought they have checked in for me, but no, they asked for my ID again. I left my luggage earlier, and they just left it in the open. The window locked was broken, even when I try to close, it opened by itself, no wonder I can hear the loud music and animal sound (like a bird or something, its loud and i can here it throughout my stay) I only realized that the window opened itself in the morning because the lock was broken, no wonder the aircond was not cold. I didnt realize because i didnt open the curtain till the next morning. Overall experience was not so good with the room, I was tired and upset with the room cleanliness. Apart from the ambience and the pool area, I dont think the hotel is up to 4-star standard in terms of cleanliness and hospitality.

You can also order food to be delivered poolside. The changing rooms are very large. 10. **Shuttle Service:** Free scheduled shuttle bus service to the night market and Eagle Square. 11. **Luggage Storage:** Luggage storage is available. 12. **Nearby Dining:** There's a restaurant with a pool next door, which has a nice ambiance. Across the road, there's a Thai restaurant run by Chinese owners, offering good value for money. Areas for Improvement: 1. **Condition:** The corridors and rooms are a bit dated. 2. **Air Conditioning:** Some rooms have central AC, others have wall-mounted units. In some cases, the wall-mounted units didn't blow air, and we had to clean the filters ourselves, which were very dirty. 3. **Bathroom:** The bathroom lacks a modern feel. 4. **Breakfast Quality:** The breakfast quality isn't very high and also feels dated.

This new hotel is in the technical opening phase. Taxi drivers and Grab don't know about it, so make sure you get dropped off at this location. The staff is very responsive and ready to help with any questions. The hotel has a gym and laundry facilities, which is very convenient. Laundry detergent is available at reception. Cleaning service is available upon request. Awesome infinity pool on the roof. The hotel is located in the city, and getting anywhere without transportation will be difficult. Rent a car, then you can easily get to any attraction.

I recently stayed at Aloft Langkawi Pantai Tengah and had a really pleasant experience. The hotel is located about 20 minutes from Langkawi International Airport and only around 5 minutes away from the popular Pantai Cenang area, making it convenient while still being away from the busy crowds. Check-in was smooth and fast, and there is plenty of parking available for guests. I would highly recommend renting a car when staying here as it makes exploring the island much easier. The room was spacious, modern, and very comfortable. One thing that stood out was the bathroom, which was surprisingly large compared to most hotels. The hotel facilities are excellent too. There is a nice swimming pool, a well-equipped gym, and a kids' playroom on the third floor, making it suitable for both couples and families. Breakfast was one of the highlights of the stay. There was a good variety of food, including both local Malaysian dishes and Western options, so there was something for everyone. On the ground floor, there is a Starbucks for coffee lovers, as well as the hotel's bar and lounge where guests can relax in the evening. A pool table is also available for those looking for some entertainment. Although the hotel is not directly on the beach, Pantai Tengah is only about a 5-minute walk away. The hotel even provides a complimentary buggy service to take guests there. Personally, I preferred Pantai Tengah over Pantai Cenang because it is much less crowded, quieter, and more relaxing. It is a great place to enjoy the beach, especially if you want to avoid the busy tourist crowds. Overall, Aloft Langkawi offers a great combination of comfort, modern facilities, good food, and a convenient location. It is an excellent choice for anyone visiting Langkawi, whether for a family holiday, a couple's getaway, or a relaxing staycation.
