The accommodation was spacious, with clean bathroom facilities and beautiful scenery, which made us feel relaxed and happy. Although the location is a bit far from the city center, the overall value for money is high, and it is highly recommended. The scenery and service were all wonderful. However, the parking lot was terrible. Don't park upstairs; there are countless narrow, winding turns that will make you dizzy and easily scratch your car.

A beautiful and peaceful hotel, perfect for taking a break and unwinding from a busy work routine. The room was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed, making the stay even more relaxing. The stunning beach view was definitely one of the highlights — waking up to such a beautiful view was truly refreshing. Overall, it was a wonderful place to relax, recharge, and escape from the stress of work.

The hotel is very new, spacious, and the facilities inside are also brand new. Every staff member is very polite. There's a large balcony with sunset views and an infinity sea view. The breakfast is also very rich, offering a variety of international buffet dishes. There's also an infinity pool where you can watch the sunset. One evening, we even opted for the buffet dinner at the hotel, which had a great selection and delicious food. It's just a 5-minute drive to Pantai Batu Ferringhi, where there are many different restaurants offering various cuisines, including beachfront dining, where you can enjoy fire shows at night. There's also a night market nearby for a stroll!

Overall, our stay at Park Royal was good and pleasant. The room was big, spacious, and very clean. We booked a Deluxe Sea Facing Room, but the sea view was not really visible. The beach was okay, but not suitable for swimming due to the jellyfish warning and unclear water. The haze also affected the view during our stay. Breakfast was okay, but the dining area can get quite crowded and cramped during peak hours. Overall, the hotel is clean, comfortable, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We had a pleasant stay!

Hygiene: Clean and meets star-rated standards. Environment: The hotel itself is great, with a gym and a courtyard with a pool. I stayed in the Garden Wing, which only has a rocky beach facing it. The sandy beach is on the Rasa Wing side. You can no longer walk directly along the beach to Batu Ferringhi Beach; you have to walk out and take a main road for a bit. The surrounding area feels a bit desolate; there are very few air-conditioned dining options. It's better to take a taxi when going out. Service: The service was truly mediocre, even poor. There was a QR code at the reception desk for Chinese customer service. After I added it, I realized they only speak Chinese. I asked the customer service to help me inquire if my room had been cleaned and if my booked room type issue had been resolved. The WeChat customer service just told me to ask the front desk. I told him I had already asked the front desk, and he just told me to dial 0 for the front desk. In short, I couldn't get any answers, which was quite unsatisfactory. However, I was quite pleased with the anniversary gift. Facilities: Thumbs up for the breakfast, it was excellent, truly superb.

I had an excellent stay at G Hotel Gurney in the Executive Suite. The suite was spacious, modern, and beautifully maintained, with a comfortable bed and a great view. It was the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring Penang. The hotel’s location is fantastic, right next to Gurney Plaza and within walking distance of many popular eateries. The staff were professional, friendly, and always willing to assist, making the entire stay even more enjoyable. The Executive Lounge was a great addition, offering a quiet and comfortable space to unwind with complimentary refreshments. Breakfast was also excellent, with a wide selection of local and international dishes. Overall, everything from the room quality to the service exceeded my expectations. I would definitely choose G Hotel Gurney again on my next visit to Penang and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and luxurious stay.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay. The room was comfortable, and we really enjoyed the hi-tea that was delivered to our room. The breakfast was also tasty with a good selection of food. However, one concern was the security of our room. The room we stayed in could be accessed directly from the swimming pool area, and it didn’t feel secure because it couldn’t be properly locked from the outside when we left. We felt that anyone could potentially enter from the poolside, which was quite worrying. Another area that needs improvement is the breakfast service. While the food itself was delicious, the service at the breakfast area was noticeably lacking and could be more attentive and efficient. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but improving the room security and breakfast service would make the experience much better.

Traveling with kids, the two-bedroom apartment was incredibly convenient. The room was clean and tidy. There's a swimming pool and gym on the top floor, and a washing machine and dryer on the first floor. The hotel's location is also excellent. There's a convenience store downstairs, a 7-Eleven just across the street, and plenty of restaurants nearby – we tried two, and both were delicious. It's about a 30-minute walk to Armenian Street, and you'll see durian sellers everywhere along the way. The only disappointment was that our room wasn't cleaned once during our four-day stay. We were told that for consecutive stays, rooms would be cleaned every three days, but this didn't happen.

The hotel has hosted many celebrities, and the sea view is stunning when the weather is good. However, the room facilities are outdated, and you can clearly hear people walking upstairs. The front desk and room service were good. As for the restaurant service, the experience was quite disappointing. The staff at the 1st-floor buffet and another restaurant upstairs were all smiles and proactively asked European and American guests what they wanted to drink, but completely ignored and showed no interest in Asian guests.
