5-Star Hotels in Sarawak, Malaysia

Not sure about this time, i was paying for an executive king sea room because i wanted a quiet & non-smoking environment. Somehow, i was given a noisy room located on 23rd floor, and we were just below the restaurant on 24th floor. Keep hearing footstep and noise above us... can't rest properly, and was given a smoking room... hope Pullman Miri will look into these. Not really convinced this is an executive room... 😔😔 but the good part was the view, and also the lobby was huge and full with christmas vibes, with christmas tree and decorations.

Of all the Marriott properties I have been to, this one has the best customer service by far. Ms Sabrina greeted my friends and I at check-in and personally showed us to our room, every staff member was polite and fast to help with anything. We got upgraded from original booking superior to a deuxe room due to high occupancy they said but nevertheless appreciate the gesture! Breakfast has a lot of options, the restaurant is good and there are lots of seafood restaurants next door(UTC) Loved the newly opened Tabby Bar sunset view. If you have status, points or upgrade nights this is the place to use them. I'd like to thank Ms Sabrina, Mr Faizul, Mr Abang from the staff for making our time here 5 Stars. They all gave us the VIP experience, we will definitely be back with family.

they were renovating during our stay so some ammenities weren’t exactly where they are but overall it was a value for money stay. they upgraded us to the executive suite which was a really big room. some parts of the room like the paint is abit worn down if you really stare at it. the water pressure was really bad but despite that the room was clean and service was good. in room meal was not the best in terms of taste, didnt get breakfast tho. hopefully once the renovations are done it will look much betterb

in the centre of downtown what more can u ask for and for me it’s the best hotel boutique for traveller to enjoy their stay here with easy adjacent to the Plaza Merdeka Mall via Lobby Floor and Level 4 link to Mall FoodPlaza for people’s to meet. highly recommend to everyone for best amenities and river/city view with Club Floor or normal floor for u to enjoy the serenity’s. furthermore the Level 13 if a must to visit for sunset view’s and chills with the love one’s.

Very nice and comfy resort hotel! We are welcomed by the bell boy helping us with the luggage with big smiles and greetings. The front desk politely ask for us to rest at lobby or can go for nearby shopping while we were waiting for the room to be ready ( we were early). They gives us plenty of drinking waters to make sure we stay hydrated! Swimming pool is big and nice ( they have several baby pool, and a big pool with various depths). It was nice as they also provide us complementary dinner for 2 ( our booking comes with breakfast for 3 adults, kiddo is additional RM30). I would like to complement the restaurant staff - Rita who has given us the utmost great hospitality and flexibility as we request to pack food to go instead of dinning in ( dinner). Overall I am impressed by this 5- star hospitality of Marriott. They never let me down with their superb services.

we have decided to become member of the Hilton hotel programme, which allowed us to enjoy 20%discount for mosr of our F&B meals inside the Hotel. The quality of the service and also the F&B is 5 Star. Well done team

I really love this resort 😍 everything is superb. The room is spacious and clean. Bed is comfy. Foods are delicious. Pool is big but a bit cloudy. My favourite part is the view. View is insane 😍 i got seaview and mountain view. I really love it !

First and foremost would like to thank the front office team for arranging such a special moment for us and was so welcoming and nice from start to finish. The room from from the comfort, the amenities, the cleanliness is all great! We really love the bathtub as everything is already prepared. Breakfast was really nice and lovely. The spread was great, the food is delicious, the staff was really nice and attentive. Me and my partner loved both pools our private room pool and also the main pool was great! Wow, wow, wow! A wonderfully warm and enthusiastic welcome from JJ on arrival at the Marriott began such a wonderful stay. JJ was also amazingly helpful in organizing tours within the National park. (Special thanks to Marc who shared our anniversary with his team.) Our room was available on arrival and stunning! Super comfortable and luxurious bed, large bathroom with separate toilet and shower plus lounge room (room 100). Large fluffy towels, iron, hairdryer, water, tea/coffee machine (including coffee capsules). The location of the room was right on the river and in close proximity (though no noise) to the restaurant and bar - perfect. Wifi is only available in the bar area. MCafe at the Marriott serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. We had a special anniversary dinner where the staff were simply amazing and we were treated! We loved sitting outside by the pool for dinner - a slight breeze, undercover and with a local bat or two circling- heavenly! On site at the Marriott is a large gym and Mandara spa - the perfect treat after a day trekking. Or you can just relax and swim in the Balinese style swimming pool (which my husband did). The Marriott shuttle bus (free) meets all flights and is also available to take you to the Gunung Mulu National when required (also free). There is also a small general store a 5-15minutes walk down the road which is reasonably priced. I’d highly recommend doing the Deer Cave and Lang Cave tour. I also did the Mulu Canopy Skywalk which I found hair-raising (like being on a rollercoaster you want to get off but the only way to get off is to finish). Tip: All Mulu National Park fees can be paid by credit card. 30MYR for a 5 day park pass PLUS any tours you do.

Buffet breakfast was adequate, tasty, some menu items changed daily. However, what I liked most was the Roti Jala with its curries. You can dine al fresco with a nice view of the river. I will definetly stay here again
