5-Star Hotels in Perak, Malaysia

On the day I checked in, I left my things in the room and I went shopping. I did leave a Do Not Disturb sign on my door. When I came back, the minute I put down my shopping, someone tried to open my door. Looked through my peep hole and saw a middle aged woman. The key obviously did not work. She left after a while but came back with a bell boy who rang in my doorbell. I opened the door and bellboy apologised and asked if I was staying here. I said I have checked in at 3pm. Bellboy pointed at two luggages and said he sent them to the wrong room? Wait what? Whose are these? The woman said they were hers. Bell boy said he delivered them to the wrong room. Next, front desk called me and asked for my name. Not to apologise but ask for my identity. She confirmed that there’s been a mistake in assigning rooms. I asked her what do I need to do. She said nothing. No apologies. I asked her why the bellboy entered my room even though the Do Not Disturb sign was there. No answer. My advise to those who choose to stay here - double lock your doors and keep your valuables with you. They did not respect my DND sign and entered my room.

We had a wonderful stay! The scenery was absolutely beautiful, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The room was superb comfortable, clean and well maintained. It’s a perfect place to escape from the busy work routine, unwind and release all the stress and tension from the office. I truly enjoyed the relaxing environment and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a refreshing and peaceful getaway. Would love to stay here again!

Love the hot spring facilities offered by the hotel, especially when you get to enjoy a private hot spring and pool in the villa! And regardless of where your villa is located, there’s buggy service available 24/7. Yoga among nature was also amazing. A really nice place to relax within nature. HOWEVER, as a luxury resort, I was disappointed with the check-in service. Firstly, there wasn’t a clear indication of where the reception/lobby was, so our driver ended dropping us at the carpark. Once we were within the lobby area, it took a while for the staff to actually welcome us. Unlike the check-in service we saw another family receiving later in the day when they were dropped off at the main lobby, we immediately felt the difference. Btw, the resort should really consider lighting the direction into the lobby at night. Most of our private hire drivers have pointed poor signage/lighting to the lobby. Next, the jungle walk group was too large with only one guide. We could barely hear what the guide was saying at the back, so yes it was merely a walk for us.

Spent one night at this hotel for a business trip, and I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was for the price. The parking area is spacious and free, with valet parking available from RM30 per night. The hotel has a modern design and is equipped with a Face ID-like entry system, which adds a nice touch of technology. All the room switches are touchscreen as well. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, making it easy to get a good night’s sleep. I also really loved the bathroom design, especially the electronically operated toilet seat very much like the ones you’d find in Japan. They also provide complimentary snacks and carbonated drinks, which was a nice bonus. Overall, definitely one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at for its price. Great comfort, modern facilities, and plenty of thoughtful touches. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Had a lovely long weekend getaway and stayed in the sea villas. The facilities were amazing with fresh water pools, tennis courts, gym and several restaurants with an excellent food selection. Our favourite was fisherman's cove which had more of a western cuisine. Overall we had a really pleasant stay. However having stayed at other similar resorts at a similar price it felt like it was lacking. I know how can I complain about staying in paradise? The area for improvement would be: an additional hose shower head instead of just the overhead one. Cleanliness of the library area. Greeting cold towels and drinks at the main lobby. Selection of shampoos, soaps and moisturisers. Eco-friendly toothbrush and energy controller with key card. Aircon and lights had to be turned off manually if we left the room. I would definitely go again but it would be nice if they took on more eco friendly initiatives.

GOOD STAY. NICE LOCATION. HOPEFULLY ALLOW FREE LATE CHECK OUT AROUND 3 PM ON WEEKDAYS WITHOUT ANY CHARGES. RECEPTIONIST AGREED ONLY 1 HOUR LATE CHECK OUT. ADMIN/RECEPTIONIST SHOULD COORDINATE WITH HOUSEKEEPERS AS NOT TO DISTURB GUEST BETWEEN 12 PM - 1 PM ( LATE CHECKOUT PERMITTED TIME); DURING OUR STAY WHEREBY WE WERE BUSY PACKING UP OUR LUGGAGES AND IN THE BATHROOM. QUITE ANNOYING. IMPROVE CREWS' HOSPITALITY SKILLS.... ANYWAY WOULD LIKE TO STAY AT STALLIONZ......because reasonable pricing, free parking and good location

It’s a nice resort in Ipoh surrounded by greenery. Cleanliness and maintenance could be improved. Black mildew grow around shower heads which is gross, dust on kitchen top surface and bad smell came out from the AC ventilation in the bedrooms. Activities listed for kids are of poor quality. There was a group of adults using the playroom as resting and make-up room. There was hardly anything for children to play with in there.. Achery was a joke, reception staff had no clue on the schedule and couldn’t be bothered to find out. It’s hazard to place a thin piece of glass on the table top  in the apartment.

Hi The stay was pleasant. The unit was good when we entered, the air conditioning was working well. We did not use the kitchen utensils as we brought our own water heater. Except for the temporary blackout, the master bedroom bathroom shower drainage was choke, water drained very-very slow.. Overall we enjoyed the stay with a good view from the balcony. A big thanks to the management for free upgrade to studio suites 😍 We felt at home, the room with all the necessities, fresh airs, complimentary drinks and kacang putih, member price for in room service of the Dome. I especially love the bath, water pressure is strong 👍🏻 It would be even better if lotion is provided 😊
