The location is next to Sands and fisher wharf, a a Thai restaurant at fisher wharf is yummy.
2 bed room 1 living room suit is awesome! 3 washroom and one big dressing room!
Master bed room air-con might have some prob but everything else are sound.
You might need a cab for transportation but all-in cost justified considering the room rate.
First thing first - this is my very first time staying in an old local hotel in Macau. I normally stay at the Sheraton Coltai because of my Platinum status. In the past month, I stayed in this hotel twice within a month solely because my friends have casino room voucher which costs something like USD 75 per night including tax and they like to use the casino here. I was very skeptical staying in a local hotel but with this price, my expectations were very low. Yes, the rooms are quite dated but they are clean.
On the evening of *June 4, 2025*, we experienced an issue with the air-conditioning in room 2203, which was not cooling properly. After contacting the front desk, a maintenance staff member arrived within approximately 10 minutes to inspect the system and confirmed that there was indeed a problem with the air outlet.
Following this, we called the front desk again to report the situation, and the duty manager responded swiftly and professionally by arranging for us to move to room 1603. As it was already close to midnight, we regret that we did not have the chance to note the names of the manager, front desk staff, and maintenance technician who assisted us.
We would be truly grateful if the hotel could help convey our sincere appreciation to the team members involved. Their efficiency and courtesy made a strong impression and turned a potentially uncomfortable situation into a positive experience.
The 3rd round of staying at Rm#19 but not the same floor in recently, everything r still okay n nice except 1 minor matter is that the HSKP auntie maybe responsibility too much for their's duties, take away my comb(private belongings) as litter n be disposed. So strange.
A refurbished hotel that keeps its nostalgic and preserved past in the present. A unique hotel that continues to maintain its antics which is a welcome experience for modern travellers.
Checking in and out was smooth with friendly staff, especially its Front Desk Manager, Mr Poon, who is very helpful and obliging.
Room was a bit small but accomodative, clean, air conditioned is cold, water pressure strong, toiletries well provided. The bed was super comfortable and my sleep was superb.
Breakfast was wholesome and you can choose either Chinese with varieties of dimsum serving or Western with vegetables, pork bun, sausages, ham and sunny side up eggs.
Location is central at Taipa where you can walk to St Paul's Ruin and the walking street within minutes. Its about 15 minutes walk to Grand Lisboa, the iconic building at Taipa.
Will return when I visit Macau again.
The first time I stayed was right when the border opened back in 2022. During that time, many restaurants and services were close or limited. However, 3 years later, everything’s open and services are in full capacity, enjoy this facility this time around. One thing to mine is that their pool is not a heated pool, which means that your own cold days, the pool water is nearly freezing. One of the main reasons I booked this hotel is due to their large double beds, what can accommodate for adults. Also, Grand Lisboa Palace is near by nearby, facility that also has a supermarket and shuttle service in parts of the city. For this reason, I think this is actually quite an attractive hotel to stay at. It’s also very quiet in the area which we liked because we had an infant.
Good location from airport and going to do business trip in Taipa and cotri. Near LRT and bus. Easily go to famous place such as taipa village and coloane and hengqin port.
But this time, I got the room with strong smoking smell, the staff changed the room to me immediately. However, I think the central air condition made the new room full with smell of smoke again in next two nights very disappoint. Breakfast was fine if you buy the day before, the price will be cheaper from 90 MOP to 70 MOP.
The hotel provided luggage storage after check out you can pick it up when your flight come.
This hotel is right next to the Jai Alai Hotel. From Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal, it only takes a few minutes to walk here, so not having a good view isn't a big deal—it's really convenient. Although they're currently renovating the exterior, and it can be a bit noisy during the day because they’re working next door, it’s not a problem if you’re out exploring during the day. Also, this hotel has an indoor pool. It's not huge, but you don't have to worry about the weather affecting it, which is a nice bonus! Another thing is that this hotel is very close to the Racing Museum, making it super convenient to visit. It's suitable for both adults and kids, so it's definitely worth a trip!

During our recent stay at the Holiday Inn Macau, where we booked two rooms for three adults and one child, we had a delightful time. The hotel’s prime location made it easy for us to explore the vibrant surroundings and nearby attractions. Our accommodations were spacious and well-maintained, providing a cozy atmosphere for our family. The staff stood out with their warm hospitality, always ready to assist us with a smile. We were particularly impressed by the breakfast spread, which catered to various tastes and was enjoyable for both adults and children. My child loved the pool area, which offered a safe and entertaining environment to unwind. Overall, our experience at the Holiday Inn Macau exceeded our expectations, and I highly recommend it for families seeking a comfortable and convenient stay in this lively city.

MMvAgustaWe stayed for two days. The room was bigger and cleaner than I thought. The location is a little ambiguous, but I was able to take the shuttle 50 meters from the main gate. I don't usually play games, but I visited the hotel casino for the first time. I won $20 out of curiosity
AAnonymous UserThe hotel emailed instructions for bus transport which is easy to understand. Apart from bus, they also have parking space. The hotel is located at south part of Macau with a quiet environment and superb view with the beach.
The room was a bit old and humid but the amenities was okay. It was weird that there is no shower curtain in our room (which was present in other reviews). The water was splashed all over the toilet floor no matter how careful we were. Beware 1/F room has very small balcony. I guess 2/F are better.
The restaurant is cozy and nice. We had dinner with cocktails. Fair price for Portuguese food. Breakfast buffet was fine with enough to choose from.
We enjoyed the environment the most. Just a short 20min walk to reach the Lord Stow's Bakery and Cafe. Great Portuguese tarts!
