The Super 8 is located right on the main road through town on US Highway 212, not far from the northeast entrance to Yellowstone National Park. Check-in was just about possible at reception shortly before 8 p.m., but those arriving later had to look for their name on an envelope with the key card on the board. The hotel is quite old and does not really have a comfortable atmosphere. The room and bathroom were clean, however. The access door at the back of the building could only be leaned ajar and was thus open all night. The staff was distant and avoided eye contact. Very limited selection at breakfast. Wifi, however, was better and more stable than ”threatened” at check-in.
The room was too close to the road for the first night and did not rest. The problem was solved by changing the room for the next two nights. There are relatively few hotels in this place, and there are many people on weekends.
Priorities:
1. Great location, right at the West Yellowstone gate
2. Check-in and check-out are very convenient and fast
3. Fruits and some drinks are provided all day, as well as ice cream happy hour and roasted marshmallows
4. The suite we booked has a complete kitchen
5. Free parking
Disadvantages:
1. Very few breakfast varieties
2. The elevator creaks horribly, often has bugs or does not work
3. The room is generally cleaned, and the kitchen paper is yellowed
4. The washing and drying are on the first floor, and there are too many people using them, so you can't wait for a seat. The machine is free to use, but you have to buy laundry detergent, so if you need it, you can bring it in advance
We arrived at night and the signs along the way were not clear enough so we had to drive carefully, but seeing the lights in their lobby was super warm! And the hall made of logs is so beautiful😍
The room was very clean as soon as we entered. The toilet and bathroom were very considerate. It was the first time I saw such a design in the United States. The faucet switch and shower head are on the opposite side, so you won't get wet when you boil water! So smart and considerate. Because I’m often unfamiliar with it, I get cold when I boil the water, especially in winter when it’s super cold!
The breakfast the next day was also great🎉 Hot breakfast. I will definitely visit again next time!

I'm going to have a good time. I used it for business trips, but it seems to be good to use it with my family or friends. It was good to stay, such as facilities and room conditions.
The room was comfortable, but the room I was initially assigned was above the machine room and was very noisy. I was given a quiet room on the second night. The breakfast was very good, and there was 24-hour coffee and hot water.

Very Good
MMichele BuffordThe first room that they put us in was tiny dirty, and had a huge water leak stain on the ceiling. The closet was a joke. It was maybe 6 inches deep and had an ironing board hanging in it. No room for clothes. The bathroom floor looked dirty, but I think it was stained. We requested another room and they moved us into a much bigger handicap accessible room. The lobby needs some serious cleaning and updating. The carpet needed to be stretched. Desperately it was a trip hazard. The free breakfast was not great as the waffle mix on the make your own waffle smelled rancid and tasted funny. We along with two other families reported it. The cream cheese also looked curdled. The best thing about this place was the lady at the reception desk. He was very nice and helpful.
GGuest UserHotel itself was nice. Still under construction but clean. Front desk staff were all super friendly and nice.
The older lady working in the restaurant for breakfast was extremely rude. Tried taking my kids there for breakfast and we ended up walking out. She rolled her eyes and heavy sighed at us for wanting to order to go, so then I said we would sit and order if that was easier for her? She acted like there was no where for us to sit amd saod shes about to get really busy. Only 3 other tables were sat at the time of our arrival. After seating us she sat about 4 other tables 5 minutes later. She got their drink orders and seemed super friendly to everyone else but never came back to help us. So we got up and left.
还还行还行Ctrip wrote that there is no free breakfast but a free breakfast at the nearby gray wolf hotel. The two-bedroom cottage is very spacious. There is a fire at the door and there is a free marshmallow to roast. Checkin's place is not very easy to find, actually in the Yellowstone park hotel.
SsonguoerMost people who go to Yellowstone Park will choose West Yellowstone Town, which is indeed very convenient. We strolled through the North Gate and the Northeast Gate, and the South Gate was closed for half a day due to snow. No matter whether the weather is good or not, it is reliable to stay at the West Gate, and it is convenient to eat and refuel.
This hotel has many rooms. Although the breakfast is exactly the same every day, it is good to be full. And there is a laundry room in the backyard. Although the washing machine is 2 dollars + the dryer is 2 dollars + the washing powder is 1 dollar = 5 dollars per wash, you can wash a lot at a time. It is cold here and thick clothes are worn, so it is still very convenient to wash.
The room is also big enough, the bed is soft enough and I am quite used to it. It is good to stay for 3 days, but the shower water is not big.
GGuest UserWas so excellent!! Room as so clean and huge! Bed was so comfortable pillows were amazing! People all through were wonderful and answered all my silly questions. Beautiful look outs. Only complaint I had wasn’t on the resort casino but the hoard of children running wild through the halls and splashing and taking over the pool sauna and spa to where no one else could use it. But that wasn’t on the place at all just parents make sure your children are taught respect!
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is in a great location, within walking distance of the town center.
Check-in was smooth, and David was very polite and informative.
The room was clean, well-maintained, and smelled fresh. The bathroom was spotless, and the amenities provided were excellent. However, my room was on the third floor and there’s no elevator, which was fine for me but could be challenging for elderly guests.
Breakfast was decent, though the dining area felt quite cramped.
GGuest UserNoise from pool was loud - screaming and yelling kids from 3 in the afternoon until 10 at night. Asked for room change but hotel was booked solid. Asked for partial refund but was told third party booked room which was not true. Also hotel put a $250 (double my room rate) hold on my card - for “extras “ that might be charged to my room. Had no notice of this until I checked in! Was told it would be refunded on checkout - also not true

GGuest UserChecking in I was told there was no hot water : waiting on a part for repairs. They let me check into their sister-hotel across the street with no additional charges, even though my reservation was prepaid and didn't technically allow refunds or changes.. Obviously I was thrilled to have quiet, clean and hot water for the night! Great customer service attitudes at both places, too!
