3-Star Hotels in Qinghai, China

The hotel is conveniently located very close to the train station and offers excellent value for money. We even received complimentary welcome fruit. The front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful; they proactively asked if we needed station pick-up service, along with attending to other thoughtful details. During check-in, they also kindly reminded us that the weather gets quite cold in the mornings and evenings and advised us to dress warmly, which was incredibly considerate. The room was clean and well-maintained. The breakfast selection was varied and perfectly to my liking, and enjoying breakfast on the 11th floor with a mountain view was a fantastic experience! Highly recommended!!!

The room itself was decent, though the hotel's decor is a bit dated. The bathroom's exhaust fan was quite weak. The hotel entrance is located on a slope, which can be a bit of a climb, and the area right outside the entrance is a bit narrow, making parking not very convenient. We were experiencing some mild altitude sickness, and the staff were very helpful, readily assisting us with our luggage. Both the staff and the front desk were proactive and eager to help whenever we had a request, which was much appreciated. They offer a free airport shuttle service, which is a great perk. However, it would be beneficial if guests were informed about this service upon check-in. I spent a long time trying to book a Didi ride that day with no success, and only found out about the shuttle service when I went to the front desk to inquire. On a positive note, I accidentally left an item behind when checking out, and they promptly helped me mail it back.

The mattress was so comfortable I wished I could take it home with me! I was genuinely sad to leave at check-out, and I've already enthusiastically recommended it to all my siblings, LOL. The hotel service was so exceptional, I honestly felt like a VIP, even though I'm just a regular guest! The quality you get for this price point is truly astonishing – far superior to other hotels in the same area.

At check-in, the front desk staff were warm and welcoming, offering detailed information about the hotel's surroundings. The room's soundproofing was excellent; there was no noise at all during the night, ensuring a wonderfully restful sleep. The complimentary bottled water in the room was a thoughtful touch. Breakfast offered a great variety of dishes, each exquisitely prepared and delicious. Check-out was quick, and luggage storage was very convenient. The service was truly impeccable from start to finish. I'll definitely be staying here again!

The hotel is in a good location, the front desk lady is first-class service, the room is clean and tidy, warm and comfortable, and the hotel's breakfast is rich and delicious. I am very satisfied!

I picked this hotel based on online recommendations. Facilities: Decent, and fairly comprehensive. However, the bathroom amenities were a bit basic – only a toothbrush and toothpaste were provided. There was no comb, shower cap, or disposable toilet seat cover. While I don't particularly mind the absence of a comb, I do think a shower cap and toilet seat cover are essential items that should be supplied. Cleanliness: Generally quite clean. Though I did notice some hair/dust when wiping surfaces with a wet wipe, it was acceptable overall. Location: Excellent, right next to the train station. Xining Station is less than a 10-minute walk away, which is incredibly convenient. It's surprisingly quiet despite being in a busy area, thanks to being on a high floor. I can only imagine how noisy the lower floors of the adjacent Quanji Hotel would be. Service: Acceptable. The laundry room setup could be improved; I'd suggest adding another dryer. Although there's no air conditioning, a small electric fan was provided, which was perfectly fine. They also have a humidifier. What's more, the room was incredibly spacious, and the generous 1.35m wide bed was a definite plus! The bedding quality was excellent, ensuring a very comfortable sleep. Free TV was also a welcome bonus. Breakfast was decent, and the yogurt was especially delicious.

From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I felt the attentive care of the staff. Check-in was quick and efficient, and the front desk lady was very helpful in providing information about nearby attractions and restaurants. The room was clean and tidy, with all the amenities brand new. The mattress and pillows were perfectly comfortable, allowing me to rest well after a busy day. The room was also very soundproof, completely shielded from the outside world. The hotel's dining service was also excellent. The breakfast menu was varied and catered to every taste. The restaurant was elegant, and the waiters were friendly. Furthermore, the hotel enjoys a prime location, with convenient transportation and a wealth of amenities nearby. It's very convenient for both traveling and shopping. Thank you for such a wonderful stay. I will definitely stay here again!

We found the hotel easily. The lobby seems to be shared with another hotel. Check-in was possible even late at night. The reception staff upgraded us into a room with a window which was nice. The room in itself is small but functional. The bed is small but comfy. The TV worked well. There's a laundry room that you can use for free but the dryer mode doesn't work. The amenities are outdated and cleanliness is really not what you would expect. Our toilet seat was broken, the sink was dirty (we removed some stains with just water and toilet paper) and it was leaking. The walls have some very nasty stains on it and there's dust and stains on many things inside the room (bedside tables, fan, wardrobe, bedside lights, etc). One very annoying thing is that when you don't close your door properly, there's a loud alarm that quickly starts ringing. Unfortunately, when it's breakfast time, many people don't care and will leave that to ring until they come back, and it's very annoying. Breakfast is Chinese food only and not that great. Plus it is served in a very small room where there's definitely not enough space for everybody so you might have to wait. On the second day, housekeeping took our bath mat and didn't replace it, so we had to use another towel. On the third day, despite putting the ”do not disturb sign” on the door, housekeeping knocked several times until told that we didn't need anything. I mean it's nice of them, but the point of having the sign is not to be disturbed. Depending on when you take your shower, the water can be a bit dodgy (fine at night, but in the morning, it goes from burning to barely hot to burning again which can be annoying). The layout of the bathroom is weird as well as the toilet protrudes in the middle of the bathroom making it complicated to move around, exit the shower or even use the sink (especially since ours was leaking all over). Shower glass doors also don't close properly so lots of water is coming out. Our laundry string was broken so we had to find another way to dry our laundry. I think it's important to note as well that as foreigners, we have been followed to our door by some other guests, and were stared at by others until we entered our room and closed the door which didn't feel safe for my girlfriend. All in all, if you don't care about cleanliness, then it's ok as it's well located.

Room was spacious but somewhat worn, with minor stained bedding, dingy shower floor and a very old water kettle. Location was excellent, very central in an older part of city, though a bit noisy with traffic. Hotel has washing machines but no dryer, which i was not told at check-in even though i asked specifically about them. Most of the staff seemed distant. Breakfast was quite good.
