Very good, because with children, this is a good choice. It takes about 15 minutes to drive from the city center. Because it is a mountain road, it takes 15 minutes and it takes 10 minutes under normal circumstances. There is an indoor swimming pool in the hotel, which is very suitable for other seasons, suitable for winter, spring and autumn. There are mini golf, table tennis, tennis balls, and beach volleyball. Children like to live here very much. It takes 18 minutes to drive to Yinyuan City. very convenient. We like it very much. At night, many insects sing, and birds call in the morning, very pleasant. Our overall experience was good.
It was cheap but very clean, with good security, so I was very satisfied!
The building itself has a luxurious feel, and I would definitely like to use it again!
A little far from the union station, it is hard to walk. But at the top, you can see the arches of St. Louis. The first floor lobby is open and free of charge, and the variety is not enough. It seems to have a gym but didn't go. The room is a little small, there is a refrigerator, but the outside door is actually painted like a drawer, which is nothing if it is not found.
Really nice location nice rooms little outdated but very comfortable service was amazing great location. The only thing that we were kind of bummed about is the pool was outside and it was closed. That was why we rented it in the first place, but overall great experience.
Pretty uneventful stay. Nothing outstanding, but the room was huge and the gym was decent (tv didn't work though— or maybe the just the remote). Breakfast very typical of this type— not much to eat for those on healthier regimes. I had eggs— that's it. A tour bus had stayed there and the food was often cleaned out quickly. Timing was everything, but the staff did all they could. This is my second review of this hotel. There was a funky smell in the room when the freezing AC was turned down. Once I was in bed I figured it out. It was dog, wet dog cologne. Just as bad as a smoking room. In the morning, picking up my shoes, there was dog hair all intertwined in the carpet. Smell confirmed. Upon my first review, I got an email from BW stating their generic concern at my review without stating my specific, but please stay with them again. I stay in hotels right now about ⅓-½ the year and BW has been a staple. This doesn't change my option that the chain is a decent value, but its disappointing that they couldn't even respond more specifically, not that I expected a response, but please don't pretend they care.
We have stayed with Drury before, but different locations in St. Louis. This was our first time at the Arch location and won't be our last! Absolutely wonderful customer service. Best kickback yet! My son had a wonderful experience hitting up the Market for a late snack and the associate was soooo nice! They had microwaveable pizza and candy, perfect! Will Absolutely stay here again.
Old hotel modification elevator at least 40 years old breakfast is good. And HOME2 The same front desk has almost no parking lot. There is a substitute class opening 55 knives a day.
Love my stay at the Drury Hotel Inn. The food was good . The staff was very nice.

Very Good
Friendly and helpful front desk. Comfortable room on top floor. Large comfortable shared lounge and games area if wanted for a group. Convenient location to universities and train station or town amenities by car or walking. Unfortunately, there is no on-site parking, but you can get advice for where in the city to park.
GGuest UserTwo of the main things I looked for when booking was a pool and free parking. The pool was indoors which was fine. Was surprised to see how small it was and was a big let down that it was so freezing we couldn’t enjoy it at all. So it was a let down that one of the main reasons I booked here we didn’t get to use the pool. This place does have newer furniture in its rooms but the floor throughout and the furniture it the lobby is just stained up and dingy. The signs on 1st floor for ice machine/vending are wrong. Asked a rude house keeper that was upset bc I guess I interrupted her cleaning. She had told me it was around the corner…. The out of order machine was on the other side of the building. I finally found me an ice machine on next floor. The people at the front desk are very nice and courteous. Really nice. But wish they had explained more on their parking so that I didn’t end up with a ticket each day I was there. So they have no free parking lots at the moment. You either have to park in their drop off zone are a section of street parking on the side. The other lots available you have to pay per day. Due to this I found a spot on the side (side street parking as they suggested) and I didn’t move my car. I kept it there the entire time and walked everywhere I needed to go. Well when I went to leave I had parking tickets racked up for several days. I went in and asked them if that was there parking as told previously and they said yes. I told them about the tickets and they said it was managed by the city and u have to back in or get a ticket. That would be nice to know when you offer that as a parking suggestion. I go out to lot to see if there was a sign. There was a sign many spots down that in the direction I was coming from wouldn’t have seen. I also looked all almost every vehicle was parked wrong way so obviously they weren’t told or didn’t see sign either. I started warning those I could. $30 a day ticket city it making a lot of money of that small parking section from out of towners etc that don’t know ST Louis parking laws …. The hotel won’t warn u of this and they know. Besides these couple things everything else was good.
GGuest UserDisappointing Stay – Would Strongly Advise Against Booking
I traveled to Festus for a car show and needed a budget-friendly hotel near local amenities. While this property met that basic requirement, nearly every other aspect of my stay was a disappointment—and at times, unacceptable.
To start, the hotel was unbearably hot inside. There was no functioning indoor air conditioning, and the common areas remained well above 80 degrees throughout my stay. Check-in was quick, but the front desk staff seemed unfamiliar with the facility—unable to even direct me to the pool, which I never located due to the complete lack of signage.
The complimentary breakfast was, frankly, insulting. The food options were minimal and unappetizing—particularly the English muffins, which were so hard they could double as hockey pucks. The oppressive heat made it nearly impossible to sit and eat in the dining area anyway.
My room, while clean, was far from comfortable. The mattress was extremely hard—comparable to sleeping on bare concrete—and the cramped toilet and shower area offered no room to move. Several cockroaches were spotted both in my room and in common areas, raising serious concerns about cleanliness and maintenance.
While I understand the hotel is currently under construction and the staff I interacted with were courteous, that alone cannot excuse the overall experience. The current conditions are simply not acceptable for paying guests.
I had high hopes for this location but left deeply disappointed. Unless you have absolutely no other options within your budget, or until after renovations are fully completed (well beyond 2025), I strongly advise against staying here. I will not be returning.
This is the 3rd time I've booked our family to stay here. Obviously they're doing something right... Well lots of things. I didn't get any pics this time, but believe me that the room was clean and ready when we arrived. We needed the bedding to be feather/down free due to allergies. Breakfast was standard and easy to eat; prepackaged waffle, biscuit and gravy, turkey and pork sausages, eggs, cereals, breads, etc.
Best place to stay in the Clayton/STL area if you are visiting WashU. Staff is A+. I have tried at least five other hotels, and since I stayed in January 2024, I constantly repeat when I visit the town. Breakfast is GREAT! This is not your typical breakfast ”INCLUDED!” Extremely clean! They are doing renovations, and you will be greatly surprised at how good it looks every time you go! Plenty of parking and safe! Stay here, you won't regret it!
GGuest UserLocation was fine. Room seemed standard level of clean. Toilet paper is ultra thin, and the soap and shampoo was very watered down, so I left the room feeling dirty. Sofa bed was so substandard that we wouldn't let our 12 year old sleep on it. The springs really dig into your back. Everything seemed clean, but felt so cheap that we felt cheap staying there. Coffee machine in the room was broken and it didn't seem worth the effort to complain about it. Ex-wife complained about the air conditioner next to the bed being too loud and coming on and off all night long that she had issues sleeping. Breakfast was solid, though. Waffle station was a hit, though the oatmeal, like the soap and shampoo, was very watery. Eggs and sausage were above average. No sliced bread, though they offered English muffins and bagels. Staff was very friendly. Best part about the stay was how amicable they all were. Makes me feel bad writing the rest of the review. Would probably avoid the hotel in the future if there were better options. It's passable, but doesn't live up to my standards and doesn't seem worth the price.
GGuest UserI really only booked the room to have a place to sleep and shower for two nights, and the hotel got one of these right. The shower was a problem because, when the shower was turned on, water would gather on the ceiling and rain down. It was very unpleasant, so I skipped a shower on my second night, took a video of the problem, and shared my concern and the video with hotel staff when I checked out. Other than that, the room and common areas seemed to be mostly clean, although I cleaned things in the room that housekeeping clearly didn't get to (e.g., a sticky microwave knob). I also found the elevators intolerably hot. Yes, it was record heat outside, but I don't understand why the elevator cars weren't air conditioned like the rest of the hotel common areas. As for breakfast, it was okay for consumers of the standard American diet - I.e., high fat, high sugar - and, as a whole-food plant-based consumer, not terribly appealing. But, this is mid-America.
I have used this hotel for work trips a couple of times. It is well located, at 44 and 270, making it easy to drive out to various places in the StL Metro area. This is not a romantic getaway hotel, it's a straightforward ”I need a place to sleep” hotel, and nothing more. It's clean, comfortable, and quiet. Don't let the ”industrial” locale put you off. The people who work here are very friendly, and the rates are very reasonable. I don't do hotel breakfasts, but looking in the dining room, it's the typical make your own waffle, scrambled eggs kind of breakfast. The coffee and coffee maker in the room is very good. They also have microwaves and fridges in the rooms.
