Amazing view, but a bit of a trek if you walk up the hill on foot. The beds are super comfy, larger, and wider than usual. Had a very good nap after a long trip and before tackling the city by night and on foot: lively and safe. Toitels and shower rooms may benefit from a bit of TLC :) Will be back.

Our 3 ppl room is very small, need to manoeuvre luggages to open up the luggage. Despite its size, room is very clean and bed is comfortable.. it’s got every we need for the night. There is construction nearby so we had to go around by foot to get to train station.

Pretty common area. Equipped with a kitchen, but which is closed at night. Located on top of the mountain, which comes with both pro and con: the place could be tiring to travel to, but also offers varied view of the city. The only complaint I might have is the upper bed could be hard and slightly dangerous to climb into/out (due to the bar, which was supposed to serve protection purpose?).

Near to Perrache station, so ideal for connecting or to take metro/tram. Hotel was small, clean and modern. No issues with hotel only that on day one we only had 2 bath towels, day two had 2 bath towels and bath mat, day three had 2 bath towels, bath mat and hand towels.. I was wondering if we stayed longer whether on day four we would have had bath robes as well … lol We purchased breakfast at €10.50 which was basic (1 croissant, coffee/tea, juice, bread jam, cheese spread and cereal) Overall I would stay here again

The hotel exceeded my expectations. It is a new hotel and room is maintained very clean and tidy considering it is a budget hotel. The beds were comfortable and I like the design of the bathroom. The best part is the location as it is within short walking distance to the Part Dieu Shopping Mall, the railway station, TCL Metro and trams, the Rhone Express to the Airport. This makes settling your stay in Lyon a lot more convenient!

Far from the center, walking minutes 20-25. In the hotel carton walls, everything is heard as neighbors cough, write, talk, at night if someone leaves the room, the door clapping sounds like the beginning of the 3rd world. We are regular customers of Hotel Evan as it meets most of our requirements for a one night stopover on our way back from our place in Spain. Our only criticism would be the rather cramped space in the rooms - fine for one person, not so good for two people. However it's very good value for the rate per night. Food, service, cleanliness are excellent.
