There are many beautiful local beaches and walks.The cottage is in a peaceful location at the end of a farm track with two other cottages and is surrounded by countryside, boasting stunning views.The interior is modern, is fully equipped, has a log burner and the living area is large and open plan. Guests have sole access to a games room.The spaceThe living areas are large with an open plan living room and kitchen. The cottage has a smart tv and internet access. There is also a seperate breakfast/dining room.There are 3 bedrooms which comprise of 2 rooms with double beds and a room with 2 single beds (there is also a travel cot supplied). Each bedroom has plenty of storage space. The bedroom with 2 single beds is open plan, overlooks the living space and has limited head room.The bathroom has both a shower and a separate bath. There is also a separate second wc.The kitchen is fully equipped with a coffee machine (Nescafé dolce gusto), oven, dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave, toaster, kettle and all the equipment for preparing food. There is also a breakfast/dining room that sits 6.There is plenty of outdoor space, including parking for 6 plus cars. Also there are spacious front and back courtyards with grass areas and an 8 seater picnic bench that can be used for gatherings. For those rainy days, there is a full size pool table and table tennis table in the garage.There is enough room in the garage to park a large car and also to store bikes, sporting equipment, etc.Guest accessGuests have sole access of the property and courtyards (including parking). The guests also have sole access to the garage (if they wish) which has plenty of room for a vehicle and sporting equipment and also has a full size pool table, table tennis table and dart board.Other things to notePlease note, there is a pool table, table tennis table and dart board in the garage that guests are welcome to use free of charge. However, the garage is an outbuilding that is not maintained to the high standard that the cottage is. Therefore, usage is at the guests discretion.There is an additional surcharge for pets of £50 per visit. Welcome to our lovely cottage! Formerly a cow shed (a long long time ago!), this delightful two bedroom cottage is the perfect rural retreat for a relaxing Pembrokeshire break. Superbly located to enjoy all of Pembrokeshire's treasures - castles, coast, countryside, attractions, shopping and food - you will love your stay here. Perfect for families, couples or friends, it is comfortable, well equipped and spacious - you'll feel immediately at home. Over three levels, the cottage offers a sense of space and bags of character. As you come through the front door, you'll see stairs up to bedroom and stairs down to the living area. And you'll find a cosy twin bedded room with some tiny window nooks, reflecting its former role. A generously sized family bathroom is adjacent, with a large shower and a bath. Plus a utility room, with washing machine, fridge freezer and space for coats and boots. A few stairs down lead to a wonderful open kitchen-diner-sitting area which is well equipped and perfect for cooking up a storm, enjoying fun times around the table and relaxing on the comfy sofas. Double doors lead out to a patio with picnic bench - and there is a lawned area with rural views beyond. On the upper level is a very large bedroom with king size bed and en suite toilet. 2 cots and 2 high chairs are available for little ones. There is parking for one car - in the farmyard. Heading out? The quaint town of Narberth with its lovely shops and cafes is a few miles away, as is Bluestone/Blue Lagoon, Oakwood roller coasters and Folly Farm. For the beach, you can easily reach Saundersfoot, Tenby and Manorbier - or head to firm favourites Freshwater West and Newgale. You can hike along the stunning Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, or to get away from it all, you can explore the Preseli Mountains. And after you've explored Llawhaden Castle -literally on your doorstep - you will want to head to Carew Castle and Pembroke Castle to experience the rich history of this area.Llawhaden is a small, tranquil village, conveniently situated a mile or so from the A40. It is on the 'Landsker Line' - a term that was used to describe the boundary between the Welsh and English speaking parts of Pembrokeshire. Llawhaden Castle is one a number of castles that sits on that frontier - a fascinating bit of history. Owner lives in the adjacent farmhouse.
