Fantastic find! Right in the heart of local eats and life. Very helpful and friendly staff. Lovely large room - be mindful sound carries as hardwood flooring throughout so if you have noisy neighbours you hear it. Can store luggage and water dispenser at reception.

The location of this hotel is indeed very convenient, it takes around 10 minutes to get to the ruins of St. Paul along with many other attractions in the central district of Macau. Surprisingly, the room is cleaner than I thought and has necessary amenities including hot water, wifi, slippers, etc. But it's not very easy for a first-comer to find it, look for a sign that says ”Edificio Kam Hou” and climb the stairs to the 1st floor to check in.

When I arrived, they said our room not ready due to the film producer haven't checked out. Room only available 6pm. They are very polite and said will give discounts for my stay. It's cool when I return at 6pm so they made us ginger tea Good location, recommended for those prefer not crowded.

Excellent value for money, highly recommended! The location is super convenient, very close to bus stops, a supermarket, and famous local eateries like Seng Kee White Congee and Bakar Mon Noodle Shop. The front desk staff were very friendly and even provided complimentary breakfast vouchers. The breakfast was a semi-buffet style, offering 5 different set meals, along with toast, salad, and fruit, and the taste surprisingly exceeded our expectations. The rooms are compact but efficiently laid out, with a very large bed and excellent water pressure in the shower. From our window, we could see the large trees of the Lin Zexu Memorial Museum, which was a very pleasant view. We would definitely choose to stay here again if we have the chance to return.

A truly satisfying stay! Although the room was a bit small, it was fully equipped, spotlessly clean, and the bed was incredibly soft, ensuring a very comfortable sleep. The bathroom also featured charming Portuguese-style tiles, which was a lovely touch. The front desk staff were excellent – very friendly and attentive. My only minor complaints were the lack of a mini-fridge in the room, which meant we couldn't store perishable food items. Additionally, the narrow corridors meant that noise from people passing by and talking was quite audible, suggesting the soundproofing wasn't the best. However, the hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! Iconic landmarks like the Ruins of St. Paul's, Senado Square, and St. Augustine's Square are all within easy walking distance. It's also just 1.2km from Barra Station, so if you're coming to Macau via the Light Rapid Transit (LRT) from Hengqin, you can easily walk to the hotel from there. There's a small supermarket right next to the hotel, which was very convenient for grabbing snacks and drinks.

Great value for money. The location is excellent – there's a well-stocked local Walmart right downstairs, and 16 Pu Entertainment City is just a three-minute walk away. I'd definitely stay here again!

We love our stay there. The place might be far from the popular tourist spots but a bus is an easy catch as it passes by the hotel so it’s pretty convenient. McDonald’s and 7Eleven are a close walking distance

The hotel was excellent – very clean and hygienic, and the front desk staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. It's conveniently located near the Ruins of St. Paul's and A-Ma Temple, both easily accessible by walking or taking the bus. I personally walked to St. Paul's, took a bus to A-Ma Temple, and then walked back to the hotel. The complimentary fruit and floral teas in the hotel lobby were absolutely fantastic. I had just come from a few days in Hong Kong where I caught a chill at my hotel, developing a bad sore throat and feeling like I was coming down with a cold. Surprisingly, after drinking several cups of the tea in the Grand Emperor Hotel lobby, I felt much better and recovered! 👍 A huge thumbs up! 👍👍👍 I just wish I knew the recipe for that tea. If customer service sees this, could you please share it? Thank you 🙏

The hotel is exceptionally clean and tidy, boasts excellent soundproofing for a quiet stay, and the bedding is wonderfully comfortable. Its exterior design is quite distinctive. What truly stands out is the abundance of fantastic food options in the vicinity. For instance, Cingzhou Cafe Snack on Rua de Cinco de Outubro serves egg tarts that are arguably the best in all of China. San Hou Yeh is another great spot, offering delicious food that's also beautifully presented. The hotel is super close to the Ruins of St. Paul's, just a little over a 10-minute walk away. The local shops and eateries are welcoming, and their offerings are both affordable and delicious – far superior to Taipa Village. The old town area is incredibly convenient for exploring.

This is my second time staying at this hotel. It's incredibly convenient, just a 3-minute walk across from the Ponte 16 shuttle stop. There are plenty of dining options along the street, and it's also very close to Thirteen Bar. The beds and pillows were the highlight for me; they were incredibly comfortable, and having a choice of firmness truly made for a restful sleep. We really appreciated them allowing us to check in early. My husband slept so comfortably, and we even had a very lucky trip, winning big at Grand Lisboa this time!
