This is an amazing hostel!
Location-wise, while it’s not right in the city center, it’s still within walking distance, with very convenient public transportation nearby. Plus, it’s close to the Danube River!
I’ve stayed in many different hostels while traveling across Europe, and this is by far the cleanest and most thoughtfully designed one I’ve ever experienced. Each bed has its own reading light, power outlet, and curtain, and the personal lockers come with electronic locks! It truly feels like a hostel designed with travelers in mind.
The bathrooms are spotless, and they provide a hairdryer, which is a must-have for many Asian travelers. The hallway has an aroma diffuser, making the entire space feel fresh and pleasant. If you enjoy socializing, the hostel also organizes evening social events.
Additionally, every floor has a dining area and a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave, stove, fridge, and dish dryer. You can heat up food, cook, or store your groceries with ease. They also offer free tea and coffee!
I highly recommend this hostel to fellow backpackers. It’s budget-friendly yet packed with excellent amenities—truly a hostel that cares about its guests!
Btw, guests can get 10% discount at the bar in the hostel!
A fantastic place to stay in the heart of Budapest and near to all attractions. The room was big and clean and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. A big shout out to Hanni at reception for helping me with directions to getthe airport bus
Was very affordable ok, for one night.. It is also big plus that they have female dormitories.. Location is on the popular busy street, what can be good or not. I just wanted to be close the airport bus and that is the best solution, when you need to leave early or you will arrive late..
Great location. 24hr check in. Staff were really friendly and helpful, they let me check out an hour later on request, which was a huge help. Quiet area but close to everything you need - restaurants, cafés, shops, public transport etc. Room was comfortable and well equipped with plenty of towels and toilet roll. Shampoo provided. Can't fault it for the price - would stay again :)
The hotel is 9 minutes away from the subway station. The room was clean, but I saw a spider in the toilet. There is no table, wardrobe or clothes hanger in the room, so it is a bit troublesome to put things. The toilet's exhaust noise is very loud, and you can still hear some of it even with the door closed.
I am a 20-year-old Japanese woman traveling alone.
I think the location is very good.
I think tourist spots such as the Central Market, Széchenyi Bridge, Menza, and New York Cafe are within walking distance.
The room is very spacious and comfortable.
The host is also very friendly. I was able to leave my luggage before checking in. After booking, the hotel will send you an email with the PIN number to enter the entrance. I recommend that you check it.
Please note that the front desk is not open 24 hours.
I was told that when checking out when the front desk is not open, you just need to point the key outside.
It is difficult to use the shower.
If you lift the ⭕️ in the second photo, hot water will come out of the faucet on the side. If you pull up the arrow (the protrusion above the faucet) while the hot water is running, hot water will come out of the shower.
What bothers me is that the elevator is a little scary.
Overall, it was a very good guest room. If I have the chance to visit Budapest again, I would like to stay here again.
Hey Out there,
I was there as a solo traveler however I believe the hotel room size can easily accommodate a couple as well.
The location is exquisite just within a few hundred meters from the tramway and the metro and bus stops (Oktogon M station)!!!
And from and to the airport, you don't even have to take a cab. Just use tramway or metro and then connect to blue bus # 100E (an express bus service to the airport). The receptionist lady, amazing 👏 Her name is Sofia and she's very helpful. She can even suggest you places to visit. If you arrive earlier than official check in time, I can promise you you will enjoy the luggage drop off service and be walking around (or even take a metro or tramway and go have fun somwhere) till you check in.
Given that this is a budget hotel, why not stay there?

Perfect! The whole hostel is clean. Interior design is nice and attractive. Bedrooms are equipped with access card and inside there is enough space for big luggages and people doing activities. Just one thing annoying is the lockers under the bed. It's noisy everytime theres someone pull and push and put or take their belongings inside. Standing lockers will be less noisy. Location is near to metro station.

LLukasRoom was simple, but reflects the price and location appropriately. It was suitable enough for us after the day of sightseeing in Budapest. Bathrooms are shared, but they are clean and renovated recently - just like on the photos in the hotel description. It is easy to hear nearly everything through the door, so you will need to be a little lucky not to have a bunch of students as your neighbors if you want to have a good nights sleep. PS: attached photos were taken at the end of our stay.
AaiischaThe hotel is newly renovated and clean. That's the only upside to it. The price is not worth it. You need an access code to the building which the hotel didn't provide before your arrival to prepare you for it which leads to you having to call them middle of night and not even sure if it's the right hotel. The entrance is very dodgy and you will find homeless people sleeping near the entrance every night which makes it feel very uninviting and unsafe. The staff are mostly new to hospitality or mainly students. The curtain was broken when we first arrived to close it. The sheets were not the right size for the bed, they did not use a fitted sheet but just a queen sized sheeet that only covered the top of the bed with nothing securing it, so they came off mattress as I slept at night. Wound up sleeping on the mattress half the time. The cleaning lady didn’t clean my room despite hanging the notice on the door and notifying the reception.
Avoid this place and with the same price, you'll get better service and proper quality hotel.

GGuest UserNot a bad hostel, and within walking distance from the metro station and the bus stop to the airport.
I lowered the score for the lack of curtains near the beds, the beds are not even separated at the head, which is very uncomfortable. When you turn on the individual light above the bed, it essentially disturbs the neighbors.

GGuest UserThe room was very nice and the decoration was beautiful. The courtyard had a fresh feeling. There were tables and hanging chairs, and the style of Baroque architecture. It was very nice. The price was also affordable.
