It is necessary to call and have a password to receive the key. There are three bathrooms with a large space, including a microwave oven, an induction cooker, and pots and pans.
We booked the motel for our last night in Iceland to be as close as possible to the airport. You need only 20 minutes to Keflavik. The room has everything you need for a night and it was very clean.
The telephone contact to the check-in time arrangement was very friendly and uncomplicated. Also the self-check-in and check-out was easy and easy.
Late check-in was a mess. Trip.com does not provide an email to the hotel so I didn't get any check-in instructions from the hotel and had to wait for someone to let me in. The hotel posted a phone number I should call in such cases on the entrance door, but no one actually responded my calls. In the room the bathroom door didn't close properly. In general, the room was ok and the location near the airport was also good.
If you need to be near Iceland's international airport, Aurora is about 2 to 3 minutes walk away. But if you need to reach other places, eg it's capital Reykjavik about 50 mins away, by taxi , it costs about HK$1200. If you take the Flybus ( convenient for going from airport to Reykjavik, but going back to the airport would entail waiting at open air bus stops which can be tricky depending on the weather), bus fare is several hundred HK dollars per person one way. For a 20 min taxi trip from hotel to Blue Lagoon, fare is about HKD600 one way.
Front desk staff ranges from good and efficient to terse and unhelpful.
Hotel is convenient for catching connecting flight.
Room hygiene is OK, domestic quality, breakfast is average, there are few things, but tea, coffee and hot water are available all day, which is still very convenient. The location is 6 kilometers away from the airport and 20 kilometers away from the blue lake, which is very convenient After traveling around the island, take a break and leave by plane. When the hotel goes out, turn right and there is a Thai meal, which makes it more comfortable to eat. The room is not big, and the water for bathing and showering is relatively large. Easy parking. The hotel can sign up for various tourism projects and signed up for the Aurora Group. I was very lucky to see the 8-level Aurora, a small group, and a full-size SUV to pick up and drop off the store, which is very convenient and comfortable.
Very good hotel, excellent location, large public areas and very warm feeling. The room was the largest we stayed in Iceland and could easily spread out 2 boxes. Opposite is the lighthouse, the weather is clear, you can see the aurora directly from the window (sea view room can, the other side will have the light pollution of the airport). The hotel drives 10 kilometers to the airport and will pass a small town.
Sehr gut gelegene Unterkunft nahe des Flughafens.
Sie liegt in einem kleinen Ort, der alles bietet und dennoch sehr ruhig.
Die Unterkunft ist sehr ruhig und sauber. Man hat alles was man wollte vorgefunden. Der Kontakt bzgl. der Schlüsselübergabe war ebenso 1A.
Vor Ort findet man einige kleine Hütten, die viel Ruhe bieten!
Wir würden gerne wieder kommen!
Staying for one night, the room is small, but it is not easy to have a private bathroom in Iceland. Breakfast is provided in the morning, which is OK. Staff English is very good and very welcoming! Very close to the airport. The surrounding environment is good and there is also its own restaurant next to the Duus Museum.
This hotel is the best I have ever stayed at! Service was excellent, staff friendly and professional. The room is very luxurious and comfortable, with all facilities. The food was of extremely high quality and every dish was stunning. The massage service at the spa completely relaxed me. The hotel is in a great location with stunning views. The entire stay was unforgettable. I highly recommend this hotel as an ideal choice whether traveling for business or leisure. I will definitely stay again!

GGuest UserBooked a brief 6-hour overnight stay to catch a few hours sleep & a shower between long flight days, was worth every penny. Got in just after midnight in late June & took a pic of the ocean from my balcony, beautiful! Everything was clean, comfortable, & the staff very nice & accommodating. Hotel only a couple of miles from the airport.
JJIANThe hotel is less than 4 kilometers from the airport, but the traffic is not convenient, only the taxi from the airport to the hotel. In the morning, the sign that needs to clean the room is hung on the door. When I come back at night, the sign has become a sign that does not need to take care of the room, and the room is not cleaned. From the hotel to the centre of Reykjavik, take the 55 bus near the hotel.
GGuest UserThis apartment is super cute. We loved the decor. We had everything we needed in terms of making meals for the family. The location was a quick drive from the airport and the owners were very easy to contact. We easily recommend and/or consider staying again.
