JJorgethe hotel is located right in the historical city center at walking distance to main attractions, the staff is very supportive, we have to leave our suitcases for 3 days and they kept it at the reception without extra charge.
GGuest UserHotel one block from tourist info center. Where you can also grab the Airport Express bus for 20 soles. Quiet area with lots of restaurants, laundry services on Benavides street and money exchange places as well as ATMs only a short walkaway. Hair dryer available if you ask at front desk. No lock box in the room. Breakfast is good. I think $12 USD. But if you want a light breakfast for less money it is easy to grab breakfast elsewhere. Staff are friendly and helpful.
GGuest UserWe had an easy late night check in. The hotel is in a great location, walking distance to most of what we needed. The kids enjoyed the game room and breakfast was delicious with a variety of foods.
GGuest UserThe location is excellent and safe. Breakfast is very good and is changed every day. There are 2 big supermarkets near. Staff is nice and helpful. My bed was a bit old and not comfortable though.
KKurzaWe had a pleasant stay at the Ibis Hotel in Lima. The location is very central and convenient, with many restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. The hotel is well soundproofed, which made the stay quiet and comfortable.
The rooms are on the smaller side, but they work fine for two adults. The staff was helpful whenever we needed assistance. One thing to note is that the rooms do not include a kettle or mini-fridge, which may be inconvenient for some travelers.
Overall, it’s a good, reliable option for a short stay in Lima, especially if you value location and a quiet room.
GGuest UserThe night shift front desk staff was not friendly. When we asked for hot water, one of the female employees turned around and asked another female employee (who should be at a higher level). The senior employee just sat there and shook her head and said no. Her attitude was very bad and she seemed to be indifferent and had no intention of providing any assistance. The hotel has air conditioning, which is great in the hot summer. There are steps to the hotel reception. Filtered drinking water is provided. Breakfast only has basic toast, ham, eggs, coffee, salad and fruit.
GGuest UserRoom cleaner forgot my room one day. The airport service person ignored me when I asked a question. Otherwise, all employees were friendly and helpful. Appreciated the fast check-in. The safe in the room. The comfortable bed. The prompt elevators. The room temp was perfect and the room was quiet with plenty of space for a solo traveler. Internet was excellent. Breakfast looked good but I ate offsite. As I eat a light breakfast and the hotel breakfast buffet was 50 soles.
GGuest UserThis hotel is really great! Even though it's not widely recommended online, its location is a bit far from the city center, but it's super convenient to get to the old town by bus. Plus, I got a currency exchange rate of 3.42 when others were offering 3.45, and a Claro unlimited monthly SIM card for only $20. The staff are also wonderful, and the location feels very safe.
HHenanhuataiNot bad, not bad at all. The surrounding area feels safe. The room rate was affordable and the cleanliness was top-notch. This will be my first choice for future business trips to Peru.
MMechiThe hotel is incredible, the room was superb, extra comfy. The breakfast amazing and the personnel was super kind and always ready to help and gave us a delicious welcome drink and a cake for my husband birthday. The area is accesible to all the nice neighbourhood of Miraflores. Arriving to the airport was a bit of a challenge, as the city is collapsed with traffic, leave with lots of hours in advance. Thanks for such a lovely stay in Lima!
