It can be said that this hotel is the most cost-effective hotel in Uganda. The decoration style is completely domestic, and even the sockets are national standards. There is no need to bring a converter. The owner is very warm and hospitable. The service was very attentive. There is also an open-air balcony on the 6th floor, which is very suitable for barbecue in the afternoon. The breakfast is very good and will be delivered to your room. The safety is impeccable, there will be security guards on duty at the door, and they are armed.
Chinese food in Kampala is pretty good, a bit expensive. Although it is in the city center, it is inconvenient to buy things around, so you have to take a taxi (you can take a motorcycle by yourself)
The room is spacious and bright, with complete facilities. The breakfast is also rich. There is a free reserved vehicle to the airport. The supermarket and Western restaurant next to it can meet short-term living needs.
The hotel is not big, but every aspect is in place. Clean, safe and comfortable. Especially the breakfast is very good. The security situation in Kampala is not particularly reassuring (in fact, it should be because there are not so many armed security guards), so I only went out to visit Carrefour in the company of friends. I also had dinner at the hotel restaurant on weekdays, which was generally not expensive. The taste is pretty good. Can anyone guess how much the Chinese-style grilled tilapia with rice is worth in RMB, which is bigger than your face?
The internal facilities of the room are average, equivalent to the domestic 100-300 Express Hotel... The hotel is a 5-minute drive from the airport and there is a pick-up service. The breakfast type is acceptable. It is close to Lake Victoria, the scenery is very good, that is, there are a lot of small bugs...the original ecology, nature...
I asked, if it's possible, that we leaving at 12. They said, it's OK. 11.55am the phone rings and what can I say... . But the rule it, that I've to leave at 12! Very bad!
It's the five'th time I'm at that hotel Today a smaller room isn't possible. If I get that room first, I never come back!!! Very bad!!!
I've to call every time the reception, because the doorlocker doesn't work!
Excellent hotel, central location, beautiful environment, balcony, delicious breakfast. There are delicious restaurants nearby, both Chinese and Western. I will definitely stay in this hotel again next time I go to Kampala.
The hotel facilities and hardware are great! The breakfast is also very rich!
Cons: The balcony of the room is open, it feels unsafe to sleep at night! The most important thing is that the downstairs bar & activities are too loud at night, it's like sleeping on the stereo. Will not live again next time!
The music is extremely loud in the evening till the midnight. Cannot sleep. I will never stay in this hotel.

GGuest UserBooked this hotel for its the conference venue I was attending. Clean spacious room, attentive staffs and usual hotel amenities provided.
Certain items eg Iron, ironing board and slippers were available by request.
Hotel also provided airport transfer and taxi to go around Kampala city at reasonable price.
Airport taxi usd90 to&fro.
Food was wonderful and Ugandan dishes were available. I tried Matooke and liked it.

AAbhinav Sharma IndThe place was ok, I would not say it was good or very good because of the services. They never had the required basic things in the room to refill. The water is never available on time. The bathing soap was not refilled even after ewquesting them for 3 days.
The location is good, rooms are clean but the only lacking was service and basic amenities.
MMK UKWas looking for a short stay spacious apartment Right in the hub of the city and yet very quiet, with amenities close by. BMK house just nailed it for me. Apartments are spacious, clean, well serviced and the continental meals at the restaurant are great. Totally enjoyed my stay and will be returning.

GGuest UserRecommended - I liked it a lot.
But be careful:
If you book the ”Cozy Studio Apartment” you will get the lowest room category (No. 20) near the noisy utility rooms, which are busy until late at night.
The ”Standard Suite” is better, which costs $50 on site and offers plenty of space.
Important: Bring a travel plug.
GGuest UserSmart and efficient service. Lovely breakfast.
Usual utility problems for Uganda, i.e., elevator broken down, room key didn't work and unreliable internet.
Maybe the manager should invest in a country where these problems don't impact businesses.
