The room was very clean. The gentleman at the front desk in the morning was super friendly; on our first day, he showed my friend how to use the coffee machine at breakfast. Breakfast itself was simple, with pastries, cereals, milk, and juice. The hotel has a really cozy vibe, and its location is great—just a 5-minute walk from Mudan Metro Station. There are also plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. We had a very comfortable stay and would definitely book here again.
Considering the price, check-in is quick, so it is decent.
The room felt a bit cold, but it is fine if you don't get cold easily.
It is disappointing compared to other motels that they do not provide any disposable items; there is no toothpaste or lotion in the bathroom, and only water is available for drinks. There is coffee at the entrance of the motel.
The facilities were very good and clean, so I liked it. The parking lot was spacious and the owner was friendly, so I had a great time! There were also nearby amenities and recreational facilities.
○ Pros
The facilities are new and clean.
No unpleasant odor from the plumbing.
Pillows with adjustable firmness.
Can get extra mineral water yourself if needed.
○ Areas for Improvement
There was a cigarette smell coming from the air conditioning, so I had to turn it off and spend my time without it! This significantly lowered my rating...
○ Cons
As I read in other reviews, the location isn't great.
Although it's self-check-in, anyone can freely enter and exit the building, so those concerned about security should avoid it.
There are many motels and hotels in the surrounding area.
That said, it's not a bar district, but rather a place where people use to head to the nearby mountains or visit nearby universities, so it feels safer than a typical motel district!
There's a market and restaurants nearby. There's also a bus stop just a short walk away, so it's not inconvenient. I found it difficult to catch a taxi, depending on the time of day. You'll need to download an app so you can call one yourself.
It's great that you can stay for multiple nights.
With a stay at STAYUP ILSAN Capsule Hotel in Goyang (Ilsandong), you'll be within a 15-minute drive of KINTEX Exhibition Hall 1 and Hyundai Premium Outlet. This hostel is 9.9 mi (16 km) from Lotte Mall Gimpo Airport and 13.7 mi (22.1 km) from Hongik University.
Featured amenities include express check-in and coffee/tea in a common area. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Make yourself at home in one of the 48 air-conditioned rooms featuring microwaves. Prepare your meals in the shared/communal kitchen. Complimentary wireless internet access is available to keep you connected. Bathrooms have showers and hair dryers.
I used it in a hurry. I think it is a common Korean style guest house. There is an entrance in the downtown area, so if you are not good at it, you will be surprised, but the inside is very beautiful. CI and CO are also easy with machines. The staff rushed to the trouble or responded with Katoku. Amenity was also a toothbrush. I think it is a very good location to travel to Fason.
Originally we booked for 4 nights but ended up extending it 3 times for a total of 9 nights, it’s so comfortable, clean and friendly that we just wanted to stay longer! After we checked out from here we went to Busan another more expensive hotel but we compared and missed this hotel so much, must go back to stay whenever I go Seoul again
I was very satisfied with the hotel's service and location.
Actually, the slightly dated feel of the facilities wasn't bad.
I enjoyed my 2-night, 3-day stay thanks to the OTT service, but there was a really big problem... I stayed for two days, but they didn't clean the room even once, so I had to make do with the water and towels I was initially provided for two days.
Also, there was too much dust in the room. As a result, I couldn't get a good night's sleep and my throat hurt... It seems like there is no ventilation system.
Very Good

AAnonymous UserI booked this place because I had some business in Pyeongtaek! It's newly built, so it was very clean and great. The location is very close to Pyeongtaek Station, and there's a convenience store just a second away, so it was super convenient.
Haha. The hot water in the room was great, and most importantly, the water pressure was great.
The pillows were especially comfortable, so I had a great night's sleep!
GGuest User⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Perfect Location Right Next to Seongnam Sports Complex – A Great Stay for Active Travelers!
What truly sets this hotel apart is its unbeatable location—just a 2-minute walk from Seongnam Sports Complex, one of the best places in the area for jogging, walking, or enjoying the outdoors. If you like to start your day with some fresh air and exercise, you’ll love how easy it is to access the stadium and surrounding paths.
Aside from the amazing location, the hotel offers a very clean and comfortable stay. The room was tidy and well-maintained, and the bed was fresh and cozy, making it easy to relax after a long day. The heating and air conditioning worked perfectly, which made the room comfortable regardless of the season.
The bathroom had all the essentials, and both the water pressure and hot water were excellent. The staff were friendly, responsive, and check-in/check-out was quick and smooth. One of the staff members, who seems to be the owner, speaks excellent English, which made communication very easy.
There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, and public transportation is very accessible, so getting around is simple even if it’s your first time in Seongnam.
Overall, this hotel is an excellent value for money and especially ideal for those who enjoy staying active while traveling. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit!
DDududududeshijieLocation: While it's not in a bustling area like Myeongdong, there are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores right downstairs, and the nightlife is vibrant. It's lively yet peaceful, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient.
Transportation: Very convenient. The 6014 airport limousine bus stop is just a 5-minute walk away, and it's also a 5-6 minute walk to Exit 1 of Cheolsan Station on Subway Line 7.
Room: The hotel boasts a stylish and minimalist design, with its red brick exterior making it easy to spot and find. The rooms are quite spacious, and the toiletries and amenities are very complete. Coffee, chrysanthemum tea, and drinking water are also provided, and the heating works very well.
Service: The front desk staff in the lobby were very nice. After booking the room, the confirmation email response was prompt. When I inquired about check-in and transportation via email, the hotel's response was comprehensive and quick. The only area for improvement is that the housekeeping sometimes forgot to replenish bottled water, coffee and tea bags, or amenities daily. I hope for a better experience next time.
Value for money: An excellent accommodation choice. The price is fantastic, and there's really no need to stay in overpriced shopping districts like Myeongdong. Highly recommended.
GGuest UserYellow8 is right next to juyeop station. If you’re staying in the Ilsan area, this is an outstanding place to be. The hotel is on the top floor of a building with some convenience stores, cafes, and restaurants in the immediate area. This hotel is very clean inside and the rooms are as well. The hotel allows smoking in the room I stayed in but the smell wasn’t strong to me. I definitely recommend it.
AAnonymous UserConvenient location about 5 min walk to the subway station and some restaurants around.
It is noisy in the room during the afternoon because we hear music from the floor below, maybe a club for elder people. But music stops in the evening. So no more music at night.
SsarkarThe hotel is about 500 meters from the KINTEX Pavilion and walks for up to 10 minutes.
The front desk of the hotel is a family, young can speak English, and there are two lazy sheep at the front desk.
Downstairs is the Dahuadi Station of Metro Line 3, and it takes about 40 minutes to go to Seoul for shopping and subway change.
There are restaurants around the hotel, there are liveyong stores, there are seveneleven, fruit shops
10 minutes walk to Lotte Supermarket
MMarsha MarshaHello! I stayed in Seongnam (during the Chuseok holiday) for the first time since it was close to Gachon University [where my friend was located]. I arrived from YNJ/Yánjí, China after a week of exploring border cities. Unbeknownst to me, the motel was located in ”Little Yanji”... OMG, it was like I never left that NE Chinese region. This area does have a Chinatown vibe, but I didn't mind since it reminded me of my great time in China (Yanbian, known as the Third Korea).
First and foremost, the front desk was kind enough to let me check in earlier since I arrived before 10:00 (check-in starts at 14:00). The motel was tidy, provided cold beverages/water in the mini-fridge, the bathroom was huge, the room was very clean, and also had a blackout window. There's also a parking garage if you have a vehicle. If you're taking public transportation, Taepyeong Station is around two blocks away to take the metro/subway.
Note: The room I stayed in was 203 and was as pictured... Nothing was misleading with the advertisement.
