4-Star Hotels in Viseu District, Portugal

Un hôtel magnifique, mais déception autour de la piscine extérieure La Pousada de Viseu est un hôtel splendide, plein de charme et d’histoire. L’accueil, le cadre, les prestations… tout était absolument parfait. Un véritable havre de paix. Malheureusement, la piscine extérieure a gâché notre expérience. Des enfants y sautaient bruyamment, éclaboussant dans tous les sens, en criant très fort, sans aucune intervention de leurs parents, ni du personnel de l’hôtel. C’est extrêmement dommage qu’aucun panneau n’indique des règles de respect ou de tranquillité, et qu’aucun membre du staff ne veille à faire régner un minimum de calme. Nous avons choisi cet hôtel pour nous reposer dans un cadre paisible, et non pour vivre l’ambiance d’une garderie bruyante. Résultat : nous n’avons même pas pu profiter de la piscine, tant l’agitation y était constante. Monsieur le Directeur, si vous lisez ce message, nous vous encourageons vivement à instaurer des règles de bon usage autour de la piscine, en accord avec le standing de votre établissement et les attentes de vos clients venus chercher calme et détente.

O atendimento foi excecional. Quarto qualidade/preço foi muito bom. Foi uma estadia muito agradável. Deveriam ter a água da piscina nais quente, bem como, o mrio envolvente.

Очень хороший отель ! Вид просто супер, сервис супер! Минусы: -очень невкусный кофе -хотелось бы чуть более разнообразное меню на завтрак -между спальней и туалетом прозрачная перегородка!!! Она полностью просвечивается и видно всё что в туалете !

We had a wonderful two-night stay at Quinta de Sao Luis. The property is well located and surrounded by the vineyards. The room offers a nice view. Breakfast is delicious. However, the price for dinner is a bit pricey compared to the quantity of food.

The Hotel reached the expectations it had, as I already knew the development and maintain the quality of service and facilities. Regarding the price, the value presented by Trip was extremely competitive in relation to the other agencies for the same service conditions, and even in relation to the price that would be charged by the Hotel itself in a direct booking (which I cannot understand...). The breakfast provided was of excellent quality and quantity. The service was excellent, with all employees in service at the hotel in these 2 days of friendliness and efficiency far above average. However, I was a little disappointed that the Trip agency had not yet sent me an Invoice for the amount paid. The only certainty that I have that the payment was made, was given to me by the Hotel receptionist who told me that the rooms were paid for, but that he could not issue me an Invoice as the payment had been made to the Agency - which is natural !). In this situation, the lack of an Invoice was very unpleasant because I booked and paid for 3 rooms (for us and 2 other couples friends) and until now I don't have any proof of payment to ”do the math” with them.

I was waiting for worse, because of previous criticism and the (low) cost of the daily. The hotel really needs works, but the main common areas (reception, lobby, lifts, corridors and dining rooms) and the rooms were very good. Breakfast was included and was also very good. What did I not like? The lack of maintenance in some less exposed areas such as emergency stairs, the outer backs, the outer pool and, mostly, the indoor pool. A lot of humidity, a lot of ink to be screwed, a lot of vegetation to garden, and the area of the pool covered and saunas completely at the departure. I did not like the air conditioning that wasn't cooling, and I was realized I was already old for retirement.

The spa is excellent & staff super friendly. Easy to park and in a great location. The restaurant is definitely worth eating at in the evening and breakfast is also very good!
