I once stayed at this hotel as a stopover when driving into Thailand because I couldn't make it to the border crossing that night. They have a 24-hour front desk; it used to be staffed but is now self-service, which is easy to use. The bed in the room was comfortable, and the shower had great water pressure and plenty of hot water. Downstairs, there's a free hot/cold water dispenser, and in the room, there's an electric kettle, two cups, a small fridge, and a TV. There's a Lotus supermarket within walking distance of the hotel. If you're entering or exiting Thailand and it's too late or you're too tired to go home or cross the border, this is a great place to spend the night.

Royal Chenang Resort has beautiful hotel decorations with a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. The chef and breakfast staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made our mornings enjoyable. The building could use a bit more maintenance to keep it looking its best, but overall it is still a nice place to stay. Even though the location is slightly far from Chenang Beach, it was not an issue for us as we had a rental car. Overall, we would recommend staying at this hotel.

I went to LGK to attend my friend's wedding and chill. I thought the place a bit far from Kuah but it's not! Easy to get there and it's self check in! Spacious room for me, good facilities with fridge, tv, water dispenser etc.
Gonna repeat if am here again, thank you for your service 🌟
My 2nd stay. Love the location, in the middle of the city, yet there is not disturbing noise by motorists (mat rempit) as the hotel is not directly at the roadside.
There are eateries (Chinese and Mamak) within walking distance, including the famous night eateries Hai Tao Ki.
There are 10+ Parking space in front of the hotel. Grab fare is relatively cheap to travel around Alor Setar city (non peak around rm6, peak around rm12).
Love the strong water pressure, cold air-conditioning and plenty of plug points inside the room. Bed is comfy but pillow a bit too soft.

I Think In Langkawi This Is The Top Hotel Stay For Luxury
Nice hotel near Pekan Rabu. Has breakfast buffet, but quite basic. There is a big and comfortable lobby, with welcoming coffee and some biscuits.
There’s also a Alor Setar foodcourt right behind the hotel for more breakfast options, if you didnt opt for the hotel breaskfast.
Room is dated, of average size with no balcony, twin room is bigger than double room. We didnt have a proper wardrobe in our room, only an open space next to the TV, to hang our clothes. The bed is ok, not too soft, pillows are quite comfortable; while the towels are not very thick/plush.
A good choice if you wish to walk around to explore Alor Setar town. We walked all the way to the Masjid/Dataran Alor Setar in the morning when it wasnt too hot.
Bathroom is quite dated, there was an issue with the drainage when we were there.
Nice budget hotel to stay. Kecik je bilik tapi okay je sorang duduk.
Overall our stay at the hotel was pleasant. However, there is room for improvement regarding the early morning room cleaning. At around 8:30 a.m., the vacuuming and cleaning noises from cleaning staff in the room next to ours were quite loud, which made it difficult for us to get a good rest, especially so early in the morning. There is also cigarette smell in the corridor, but fortunately it was not spread into room. The staff receptionist is very friendly and made us feel welcome all the time. The bedsheet is clean and comfortable.

This budget hotel in Kuah Town boasts an excellent location, being close to the Kuah Night Market and next to the Langkawi Lighthouse. The rooms are spacious, and while the amenities are simple, they cover all the essentials. Eagle Square is also conveniently located about 2 kilometers away on foot.

We booked a family room come with a queen size bed and a single bed. The room is specious, enough to place our luggage. However, the aircon is not cold enough even though we have adjusted the temperature to the lowest. Other than this, we are satisfied. The hotel has own parking lots, which we no need to worry where to park our vehicle. The hotel location is strategic, located along Pantai Chenang.

DDaidaiqieThe hotel is located on a hill. Generally, Grab taxis can only take you to the foot of the hill, and then you transfer to the hotel's shuttle bus to go up and down. However, it's very quick, only a few minutes each way.
The hotel itself is beautiful, with a huge swimming pool in the middle. There are nets to lie on by the pool and beanbag chairs, which are super chill. We had a great time relaxing there.
The room was a bit small, with only two power outlets, which was a bit inconvenient. The bathroom only had a curtain and no separate wet and dry areas, so there was a lot of water on the floor after showering. Breakfast was not very good and there wasn't much variety.
SsandyaieasonThe room was spacious, clean, and tidy, with a super large bed on a tatami platform. The hotel also offered complimentary drink vouchers upon check-in, redeemable on the first floor. The pool was huge, and the hotel's location was excellent, with plenty of dining options nearby. It was also very convenient to walk to the beach to catch the fire show.
ННаталья Г.We stayed at the hotel for two nights. The grounds are well-kept, but not very cozy. It was sparsely populated, the pool was small and green, and our child really wanted to splash around in the pool. We'd chosen a room with a pool, but we didn't get to use it. The location is good, close to the aquarium and Chenang Square. There's an excellent warung nearby; we only ate there, and people we met recommended it, and we often met there. The hotel is okay for 1-2 nights, but nothing more.
GGuest UserThis hotel has great potential, but it's really lacking in maintenance, both in the rooms and common areas. The beach and water color aren't very inviting for swimming. The pool, however, is nice and very large. For the price, you can find better quality hotels in Langkawi.
AAndhy PutraDespite a minor booking issue at check-in, the staff handled it swiftly and professionally. I was pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade, which elevated the overall experience. The resort is set away from the busy town and Pantai Cenang, offering a serene forest escape. The room was spacious, immaculate, and well maintained, with fast and stable internet. Service was exceptional — the staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. Special compliments to the front desk team for their excellent service. Best enjoyed with your own transportation. A peaceful and refined stay — highly recommended to experience TC Garden Resort, Langkawi ! ☺️✌️
GGuest UserMy stay at Langkapuri Inn didn’t quite live up to my expectations, to be honest. The room was definitely spacious, but the interior felt rather basic and could be improved. Adding simple furniture, such as a couch, would make the space more comfortable. The washroom, in particular, could benefit from some renovation.
That said, the rooftop area is a nice highlight — it’s a relaxing spot to unwind at night, and they even screen movies there, which creates a chill atmosphere. The location is also convenient. It’s an easy walk to Pantai Cenang, and there are plenty of food options nearby.
Overall, while the facilities could use some upgrading, the location and rooftop vibe are definite plus points.
AAAAdayunzhongkachenshifuThis hotel was the most pleasant surprise of our entire trip to Malaysia. From check-in to check-out, the staff were incredibly warm and helpful throughout. The hotel has two floors; the second floor mainly houses the lobby, where you can order free drinks, which was a huge plus! There are also three adorable cats roaming around. Every morning, the hotel provides a complimentary special breakfast in the lobby, and you can tell a lot of thought goes into it. The lobby also offers games like Uno, playing cards, and building blocks to enjoy with friends, and there's a pool table near the bar. While the room's style was a bit on the darker side, it had a great design, and the bathroom was very spacious. I'd definitely choose this hotel again when I return to Langkawi~
AAnonymous UserLocation of the hotel is quite far off a lot of tourist attractions but it's near one of the attraction and that is the sunset cruise. Not many things to do around the area. Service and hospitality provided by the hotel staffs were a 10/10 but the hotel room itself needs a little touch up as it looks quite old already.
SSiferaIts a nice resort tucked away in between Cenang and Kuah town… the entire resort is furnished with Ikea furniture and fittings so if you are a fan of Ikea you would feel right at home. There are generally 2 type of accommodation, 1 villa style with 2 bedroom, ensuite bathroom, living room, kitchen, garden access to the pool and a private doorstep car park, this unit can sleep up to 8 people according to the hotel. Another type of room is a standard hotel room style with direct pool access.
