Good location with many food options nearby. Walking distance to Nagoya Hill Mall. Breakfast is superb, delicious local tastes. The room is clean but lacks amenities, especially hand towels and hairdryers.

The hotel is very clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The swimming pool is small and dirty when we were there. Kids walking around at the breakfast area and jumping in and out from the pool to breakfast area. No proper towels provided for the pool. My room is clean but face a block of construction wall which looks really eerie at night. I think they are in the midst of extension their hotel. Blackout twice but power came back fast. Despite the small imperfect, it is still a very comfortable hotel which I will go back to in Batam.

The staff were the highlight of the stay — consistently polite, humble, and attentive, providing excellent service throughout. Unfortunately, the villa itself was quite run down and appeared to lack proper upkeep and maintenance, which was disappointing given my expectations. There is insufficient power plug for phone / tablet charging. The breakfast spread was decent, with a reasonable variety of options to start the day. Overall, while the service was excellent, the condition of the villa fell short of expectations. Would I return? No.

This is a very clean hotel with friendly staff and a well-maintained room. The towels smelled great and the facilities were complete. However, the massage therapist at Liu Zan was just average; there's definitely room for improvement there!

As a frequent business traveler and hotel enthusiast, this hotel truly exceeded my expectations👏 The moment I stepped into the room, it felt bright and spacious. The room size was more generous than many hotels of the same caliber I've stayed in before. There was ample space for luggage, and the work and leisure areas were clearly delineated, completely free from any cramped feeling. The attention to detail in the design was truly impressive. The amenities were thoughtful and comprehensive. The room was equipped with a self-service laundry machine, so I didn't have to worry about accumulating dirty laundry during my week-long business trip – it was incredibly convenient. What surprised me most was the shower experience: the water pressure was strong and steady, and there was plenty of hot water, hitting my body with just the right force. After a long day of travel, a shower completely washed away all my fatigue. This kind of comfort in the details is precisely the standard a five-star hotel should uphold👍 Overall, my stay was impeccable. I will definitely choose this place again for my next business trip here.

Booked the escape room which comes with Wellness body massage. This was previously Swiss Bel-inn hotel. I spent most of my time at Eska Spa there. It is about 5 mins ride to Nagoya Hill hotel. Breakfast was included in my package, and it is sufficient for a night stay. But I was utterly disappointed at the front desk service and the room. While I arrived early (around 12 plus), they said to come back after 2pm and not suggesting anything else on what to do during the wait. I am working in hotel line for over a decade, and honestly, I wished the girls had done better. I had to ask where the spa was, and after confused while, I managed to find it. The lift was being fixed when I arrived, and glass sliding door to the staircase was not working. I had reached out to the spa team the day before, as instructed in this channel, to book a slot. But they also did not get back to me, and was debating on whether the inclusion was correct or not. After about 10 minutes of waiting while the spa girls checked with Front desk, I said I had intended to buy 6-in-1 package. Only then I was given much attention (I was the only guest in the spa, by the way). And they then realised I was also a member. Things got better at the spa, but for the room, it was smelt of cigarettes. I could not stand the strong smell and the poor bell hop tried to spray the room with Glade, but it did not help. He brought an air purifier after I mentioned it, and then I decided to leave the room to Nagoya mall. Upon my return, the smell was much better, though the cigarettes smell is found on the pillows. There is a nice cafe and swimming pool, but I did not get to utilise them. Also, apparently there's two wings, and both wings have the same room numbers. I was given the old wing at the corner and I can hear the doors of my neighbours opening and closing. On my last day, there was a manager going around while we are having breakfast and he surprised me as I was eating when he approached. He greeted others as well as he went on his rounds at the restaurant. A good presentation. Anyway, for a night stay, it is sufficient because you don't have to leave the property if you intend to spend a whole spa day there.

Breakfast was excellent with a great variety of food. The room was soundproof, ensuring a very good night's sleep. The only minor drawback was that the beef and chicken we ordered for lunch were very tough and hard to chew. However, the staff were attentive and provided excellent service, which made our whole family very happy. We would definitely come back again.

Room amenities and towel quality need improvement: Upon checking into the room, I found there was no hairdryer (when contacting housekeeping for a replacement, the staff member mistakenly thought I wanted to return a broken one, indicating a flaw in their inventory check mechanism). Furthermore, there were obvious stains on the towels requiring replacement, and their texture was stiff, rough, and noticeably old, failing to meet the standards expected of a high-end resort. Breakfast peak hour crowding and tableware hygiene: Due to many guests being from Singapore (a 1-hour time difference), there were long queues for dining at 7:45 AM (8:45 AM Singapore time). We were initially directed to the makeshift Beach Bar area, but it had no air conditioning, flies, and limited food options. We eventually had to return to the main restaurant to queue again. Some cups and plates in the main restaurant felt sticky and greasy to the touch, indicating that washing hygiene control needs to be strengthened. Beach Club dining quality was below expectations: The Buffalo Wings (peach hot wings) ordered at the bar in the evening had a soggy, un-crisp skin, were completely not spicy, and lacked authentic flavor. There is room for improvement in the dining standards. Hotel activity arrangements and facility opening hours: There were relatively few activities available at the hotel. Although free family photography was offered, the staff did not remind me to book during check-in, resulting in all slots being fully booked the next day. On the first day, after returning to the hotel at 9:30 PM from an island tour, the swimming pool was already closed, meaning I couldn't experience any of the hotel's facilities throughout the entire trip. Practical advice for future guests: Avoid peak breakfast hours: It's recommended to go for breakfast before 7:30 AM to avoid the peak period from 7:45 AM to 9:00 AM when Singaporean guests typically wake up. Be proactive in booking activities: Remember to proactively ask the front desk for an activity list during check-in and book popular items like free family photography on the spot. Pay attention to pool closing times: If you have evening plans (e.g., mangrove fireflies tour), you might miss the pool's opening hours upon returning to the hotel. It's advisable to plan ahead.

Staying in Cassia Bintan was the perfect sanctuary I needed to recharge and getaway from the busy city life. This 'me-time' was exactly what I needed to find my peace again. The hospitality started the moment I arrived—I was greeted by Arya at the counter, who was incredibly helpful and kind. His warm welcome immediately put me at ease as a solo traveller. I truly appreciated the shuttle bus provided by Cassia from the ferry terminal; it felt very safe and organized, which is so important for solo female travellers. The room itself was a dream. I loved the blue colour of the room. This soothing blue wall creates a calm space where I can truly relax. It's spacious and clean. My favourite spot was the well-equipped kitchenette and the nice private balcony; the air felt so clean and fresh, and it was such a serene place for me to sit and do my painting. I love the sea so much, and the serene beach was so therapeutic. The pristine white sand and the shimmering turquoise blue sea were breathtaking. Being able to stroll along the shore every single day while listening to the gentle sea waves was the perfect way to clear my mind. I also loved spending time at Vista—sipping on their refreshing lime juice while soaking in the stunning sea view was pure bliss. The food at Lotus Cafe was delicious, and the staff always greeted me with a warm smile. Having the market 23 nearby was also so convenient for snacks and essentials.
