Anonymous UserWas an enjoyable stay for early June season. Rooms are very spacious. Pools aren’t heated (but maybe in the warmer months this is not as noticeable). And rooms could be slightly cleaner and come with more amenities.

The best four-star hotel, I will go to portimao again because of this hotel, there is a very comfortable balcony, there is a swimming pool upstairs, the hotel also has a free shuttle bus to the beach, there is also a spa but you need to book in advance, the breakfast is also very rich and fresh. There is also a well-equipped gym, everything is very complete. It is also very close to the starting point of the pier to take a boat to see the caves and dolphins, just 3 minutes away. Great!

Guest UserInteresting quirky location full of historic character. Very friendly welcome. When receptionist saw on passport that it was wife's birthday, we were given an upgrade and bottle of bubbly in room! Buffet breakfast fine, but it would have been good to have bacon on the hot-food selection. Our suite was quite spacious, but only had a standard double bed - OK for us, though others might want to request a king-size.

Angel Del CampoThe hotel is very comfortable and the rooms are very comfortable.
It is well parked at some apples at June dates and the centre pila nearby.
The worst thing: if you are with children is not recommended because stairs are dangerous.
The jacuzzi was broken.
The room was struck with a TV, the shower and the bathroom were broken danced but it could be used.
They don't make room, they don't change towels, they don't pick up the paperboard, I think they change it weekly.
Premiere the aesthetic comfort and we end up uncomfortable with the placement of clothes, baggage and bathroom.

Guest UserPositives - Good value for money, we had a bargain on Trip.com for £67 for a twin room Pool view with breakfast, it was £94 + on other sites, the room clean and comfortable, nice shower and lovely toiletries, big T.V in room and lots of English channels, really lovely breakfast, plenty of choice, nice indoor pool, warm but a little small, you have to wear a swimming cap which they sell at reception for €5, we didn't use the outside pool as it was February and they were working on it ready for the summer. The main reception staff were lovely, we had a welcome glass of wine and the man was very friendly.
Negatives - we were in room 314 the 1st morning around 5.30 am a very loud humming noise started and went on for over an hour, the 2nd morning it happened again but for not so long, we thought it was maybe a generator and hoped it wouldn't happen again, but that night just after 9pn it started again, we phoned reception and they said it was the Jacuzzi ? and it just came on randomly. and then 5.15 am it started again and was so loud, I went down to reception and the night guy was just so rude ! he said it was the Jacuzzi and this happens often we should have complained before, he said why complain now, you are leaving today ! his customer service was very bad, and this really put the dampers on our stay. I hope they have sorted this out for other guests.

The hotel is just 14 mins walking from the beach. The room was big and very clean. Breakfast is simple but you can find everything. There is sauna and gym, free parking.

It's a great place to take a morning walk or a leisurely walk or jog in front of a beautiful beach. The spa is divided into time slots and requires a fee.

The staff were friendly and helpful, which made the stay more pleasant. The hotel itself does not provide on-site parking, but there is a public parking area about a 2-minute walk away. During the low season it was fine, though availability might be an issue in peak periods. Walking to the city center is possible, but it does take some time.
The room was small but as expected for this category. I liked having a small balcony outside the window, which was a nice touch. I tried sleeping with the window open instead of using air conditioning, but unfortunately the AC units from nearby rooms were quite noisy, so I ended up closing the window.
A few downsides: the exterior of the building looks a bit dated compared to online photos, and the desk in the room is extremely small—not practical for working with a laptop.
Although I did not personally join, the hotel seems to offer or help arrange water-related activities, and guests who are interested may want to inquire with the staff for more details.
That said, considering the price, the stay was reasonable and met basic expectations. A decent option if you’re looking for a budget-friendly place and don’t plan to spend much time in the room.
