The hotel environment is very good, the most impressive thing is that the breakfast is very rich, far exceeding expectations. The only fly in the ointment is that there is no free parking space, but parking nearby is also very convenient.
This hotel is right next to Tromsø Airport, and there's an airport bus stop just outside. The bus ride itself only takes about 5 minutes, 😂 but the ticket costs over 100 RMB, which felt a bit steep. It's perfect for late-night arrivals, especially after a long 10+ hour journey; you can get to the hotel and rest quickly after landing.
The environment and facilities are pretty standard, on par with most hotels in Norway.
Service gets a thumbs up! I managed to snag a free coffee from the front desk when checking out in the morning.
Since the hotel is a bit away from the city center, there's less light pollution, and we were incredibly lucky to see the Northern Lights right from the rooftop terrace!
Nice hotel, friendly staff at the counter and helpful as well. Theres a bus from evenes airport to thon hotel and a short 5 min walk to the hotel. Breakfast is good, there is also an option to do lunch takeaway
This was a great location slightly out of the city to catch the Northern Lights without going on a tour (we saw it two nights out of five! Cabins were well kept and clean, we were two adults and two teens and there was enough space for everyone. It is 10mins walk to the bus stop to the city, of 40mins walk across the bridge to the city, both of which were manageable for us. Note that there aren’t many restaurants nearby. All in I was extremely happy we chose this place for the Tromso leg of our trip.
The room was very clean and large. We arrived later than dinner time and communicated with the hotel staff in advance, and they still left us a sumptuous dinner. The breakfast was delicious and the front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming
The room was spacious and new, and the breakfast was absolutely amazing – the best and most diverse we had on our entire trip, even better than the Radisson Blu in Oslo. It was incredible value for money. My only minor concern was that the door automatically locks itself one minute after being closed, which felt a bit less secure when leaving the room.
The views are incredible – from my room, I could see the Arctic Cathedral and the cable car. The location is excellent, and I was very satisfied with my three-night stay.
However, the cleaning service was a bit of an issue. For consecutive nights, they don't clean by default, and you have to book cleaning a day in advance. When we first entered our room, there were cleaning tools and dirty cups left by the cleaning staff. We put them outside our door, and they weren't taken away until noon the next day (I suspect the cleaning staff only works between 12 PM and 4 PM).
Towels aren't changed unless you go to the front desk to get fresh ones; nobody comes to change them for you. I understand the Nordic efficiency and the 'eco-friendly' approach, but considering the average daily room rate of around 3500 [currency, presumably NOK or equivalent], it's a bit disappointing. Of course, the price isn't the hotel's fault; all hotels in Tromsø have seen huge price hikes, and I heard it's much cheaper in the summer.
Facilities: There's a kettle, and disposable items like shower caps are provided.
Cleanliness: Very clean and hygienic, with a great Nordic-style decor.
Service: Front desk, housekeeping, and breakfast service are all excellent.
Location: Absolutely central, convenient for getting anywhere. Close to the shopping street, the station, and the hotel itself is a hub for many tours and activities.
What I didn't expect was how dry it is here (compared to the UK).
The view from the window is as shown in the picture.
Located in the city center, it is very convenient for travel. Sightseeing and shopping are just a few steps away.
The room is too small, so consider carefully if you have a lot of luggage. The twin beds are put together. The door lock is different from that of domestic hotels. You need to swipe it again when you leave to lock it.
The breakfast is great and rich in variety. The room is cleaned every day. The front desk answered all questions, but there was no one when I checked out at 5 o'clock in the morning.
The room was given to us on the first floor for convenience of carrying our luggage. The nearby sea view is very beautiful but very clear. The room is also very big, but the hot water is not hot enough and the bath water is lukewarm and cool. So you have to take a bath early, otherwise you have to wash it the next morning. Maybe there are too many residents and everyone shares the hot water, so The hot water is not hot enough. Breakfast is very basic and you can eat a little before heading to the airport. The neighborhood is actually quite nice and leisurely.

RRavissara S.The room is spacious and clean. Great view from the room's window. I really like the room layout and it is beautifully furbished. The kitchen is great because it comes with A COMPLETE set of kitchen utensils. You will never run out of anything. This is also my first time staying in an apartment-like hotel in Europe, so I was impressed by the dishwasher. The floor is also warmed, which I like. Especially, in the bathroom, my feet didn't feel cold at all, unlike other places. I could not use the kiosk to check-in, but it worked just fine on my iPhone. I was worried about using smart key in my iPhone, as I read a lot of complaints from other reviews. However, it worked perfectly, including the entrance, elevator, and my room. I had no issue at all despite my thick phone case. During my stay, I met no staff. Luckily, there was not any issue, so everything was fine. Lastly, the location is the best. it is located in the centre, and there are several supermarkets nearby. Overall, it is a great place to stay and the price is very affordable. I think I will stay here again if I have a chance to return to Tromsø.
OONG JesslynThis room wasn’t as expected as I stayed in room 703 before. This room 225 was small for 3 adults. No space to open luggages. Lack of charging port. One charging point next to entrance of the door and placed so high that our cables wasn’t long enough to reach we have to pull a chair (see photo luggage height) The tv is spoilt too, u have to adjusted up and down to get TV to be working!!! You have to informed reception to open door to parking so that you can park your car inside, just pay a fee. I love the breakfast buffet.
GGuest UserThe hotel is outdated and is scheduled to be refurbished in 2025 or 2026.
The lobby is ”super” small with no design theme (for what that matters).
My room was small and poorly laid-out...plus, the bed was so soft it was uncomfortable and I knew my back would suffer, so I placed the thin topper on the floor and slept on that.
Once housekeeping left at the end of the day you could not obtain extra blankets or pillows...all I had was one small, rectangular pillow....I did not get a good sleep!
The gym could only be accessed by climbing a narrow, winding set of stairs...I never got there.
The front office staff was amazing...so pleasant and accommodating....despite all the demands placed on them.
I was thankful I was only staying for 1 night.

GGuest UserA hotel that is located conveniently to many pick up points for tours. Grocery stores, 7-11 and restaurants are also located nearby. Simple amenities such as shampoo/body soap, towels, hairdryer are available. Love it that there is breakfast and dinner that comes together with your stay. Nothing too fancy but good enough to fill your bellies considering the restaurants are quite pricey. You will need to get hot water on your own at the dispenser as there are no kettle in the room. Reception was always friendly in answering any questions, and even helped with my cab booking to the airport. Worth it for the price, would stay here again.

GGuest UserThe rooms were super clean and spacious & the breakfast was so good!
The bonus is the free laundry service which i accidentally discovered on the 6th floor.
It helped me so much as I was in the mid of my trip.
Took the opportunity to wash up my clothes. Perfect!
