Close to the station and very convenient location.
Your husband is very kind and kind. The Eiger from the room is very powerful and you will never get tired of seeing it.
The bread for breakfast is very delicious.

Accommodation is very nice, everything clean, high quality. Everything available. The guests have their absolute peace. very nice, we've been to Scwendihus several times and it's very nice!
The hotel is very conveniently located and has a distinct youth hostel vibe. The service was excellent, and the breakfast spread was comprehensive. Free parking is available.
However, there were a few downsides: The rooms are quite small, and our window directly overlooked a building under construction, so there was absolutely no view to speak of. For a better view and good food, I'd recommend trying the second floor of the restaurant located outside the hotel.
Room amenities were basic: no slippers, the bathroom lacked a proper door, there was no fridge or safe, and no toothbrushes were provided. The toiletries were a 3-in-1 combo, so you'll definitely need to bring your own conditioner – fortunately, I had picked some up from my previous hotel.
There's a train station right outside the hotel, but trains to popular destinations like Lauterbrunnen don't depart from here; I'm not sure where this particular station goes. On the bright side, it's very close to the Jungfraujoch cable car station, just a few hundred meters' walk away. The hotel has ample and spacious parking spots.
The hotel's own restaurant only serves breakfast and is not open for lunch or dinner.
Tip: If you're booking, try to secure a front-facing room with a balcony. These are slightly larger, and you can sit and enjoy the outside view. I don't recommend the side rooms without balconies, as they are very close to the construction site and can feel quite claustrophobic.
The staff were very friendly and kindly provided free public transport cards and chocolates, which was a nice gesture.
Laundry facilities are available, and detergent is provided. Both washing and drying each cost 5 CHF per cycle.
The overall facilities are relatively basic. There's a drink machine on the ground floor, but it only sells Red Bull. The room floors are concrete, the ceilings are wood, and the rooms are quite low-ceilinged.
My biggest dissatisfaction was the Wi-Fi. To connect to the hotel's 'free' Wi-Fi, authentication was required, asking for a Chinese mobile number. However, I couldn't receive the verification code. The other option was 'free time claim', but it demanded entering detailed credit card information. I found this utterly confusing and unacceptable. Having stayed in so many hotels, this was the first time I've encountered 'free' Wi-Fi that requires credit card details. Ultimately, I did not use it.
The hotel looked a bit old inside but perfect for mountain view. We requested a room with a mountain view of Jungfraujoch, and we were so delighted that even though we didn't get a double bed but two single beds with a balcony. The swimming pool and jacuzzi, including saunas, were a bonus with varieties of tea available by the jacuzzi. The hotel is just 1 min walking distance from the wengen station, easy access to Lauterbrunnen, Jungfraujoch, and grindlewald. The breakfast buffet was all right, I wouldn't say it was top notch considering the price. I would definitely recommend it and would love to stay in the future.
We had experienced a disturbance almost all night from a raucous guest just above us, room 209. Constantly banging. We tried to call reception so many times to complain, but no one answered my call. That was so disappointing. We couldn't sleep all night. I felt the noise could easily be heard from neighbour guests.
Overall, it was a really nice hotel to stay in a perfect location.
The location is great. Only 7-10 minutes to go to the train station on foot and taking cable cart. The reception let people check in earlier. I love its flexibility. My roommates were respectful and that made me feel good quality in this hostel. Highly recommended!
This was one of the best hotel I have stayed in Switzerland. The location was perfect as it was near the airport. The staff was friendly especially Miss Noel who had sped up the check-in process. My room was very spacious which can hold 5 persons. The room was very clean and the amenities was excellent. Overall I loved the hotel very much and would recommend anyone who has big family and want the space for their comfort. The price was reasonable and affordable. Thank you Hotel Allegra Lodge for having us. I am sure that I will come back again to stay at your hotel in the coming future. From a very satisfied customer. Regards!
The location of the hotel is really near to the train station which is like about 1-2 minutes away from the main entrance which make the commuting around Bern really easy. As for the room, we took the studio apartment with kitchen which the space was sufficient and great for placing our luggage and the kitchen came in handy as well. As for the service, they are prompt in replying if there are any issues. Before our check-in we are faced with some errors regarding payment and everything was solved between trip.com and the hotel itself after we linked them up which make our trip stress free and convenient. Do note that the hotel itself does not have a front desk, check in and check out are all done using the app which required wifi connection. For the facilities, they have an area which allowed anyone to gather and mingle as well as washer and dryer are available for use. Definitely recommend this hotel and will stay again when we are back in Bern.
Great Location with a nice comfortable bed and bedding. They provided free pastries and fruits which is a thoughtful touch. However the staff weren’t very clear with what the paid breakfast was included. You need to pay 22 CHF for a boiled egg (not freshly boiled), a small yogurt and a bad cheese stick. Definitely not worth to have the breakfast there.
Hotel location is very convenient, in the town of Interlaken, there are many supermarkets and restaurants around. There is a stream at the door. There is a bus in Interlaken East that can be reached by one stop. very convenient.
The room is very clean and spacious, you can cook by yourself, very good! Pots and tableware are complete.

JJoanna amAmazing service from the staff. Convenient as it’s close to bus stops which is free of charge within Interlaken and easy enough to the main station (Interlaken Ost). Gorgeous view from the room and nice to have the breakfast included in the morning
AAnonymous UserStayed at Hotel Toscana for 2 nights (Nov. 13-15, 2024). One issue we had was we lost a necklace. We were wearing scarves so my sister and I left 2 gold necklaces at the table. We didn’t know there will be housekeeping as we’re only staying for 2 nights. All of us were out 10AM and went back 6PM. When we got back, 1 of the necklace was gone. We looked everywhere, under the mattress and bed, all sides of the table, inside the bathroom, and every side of the room, but it was gone. The receptionist was helful enough to check with her boss and the housekeeping but who would admit they stole something, right? I just hope whoever took it found a good use out of it. Other than that, the location is perfect, it’s within a walking distance (around 7-10min) to Interlaken West station. Lots of shops and restaurants in the area as well. The hotel room is equipped with kettle and glass cups, no mugs. No airconditioning unit but it was pretty cold during our stay so we just opened the window a bit and it was fine. It was a very quiet neighborhood with nice views of the mountain and people paragliding. The room looked clean the moment we entered, but while we were searching under the bed and tables, dust has piled up underneath, it was very dusty like it hasn’t been cleaned for months and they only sweep the visible areas of the floor. The bathroom smelled like pee even before we used it. I hope they improve these parts, the hotel’s not that bad if you’ve experienced staying there (in my opinion).
GGaochengxinI lived 25 years ago, changed a few hands, renovated, the name has been changed a few times, but I still have a little emotion for it, so I decided on it.
Jjanice gooHotel at a great location which is opposite train station and bus stop. Front desk lady was so helpful with our enquiries. We even hv a free bus ride card for our stay. Hotel stay came with breakfast at rooftop. Excellent view of the snowy mountains. Definitely will stay there again if i revisit Interlaken!
IIka_EllyWe didn't plan on traveling here at all. It was a last minute decision. But one that we don't regret.
The staff was beyond nice and helpful. We really felt genuinely welcomed. As soon as we arrived we were welcomed with a big warm smile.
Arriving in our room, we had a Easter gift. Two super delicious chocolate bunnies. It was a welcomed gift. At breakfast we also got chocolate eggs.
The breakfast was rather small, but it had all the necessary things and we always left with a full belly.
The room was spacious and so was the bathroom. The beds are comfortable although the pillows were too soft.
The hotel was very calm and a little bit outside of the village in nature.
Dogs are welcome and thanks to the location of the hotel, it was perfect for walking them without leash.
The sauna was perfect. It was very big and had a chill out area where you can lay down. It would have been nice to have some fresh water at hand though.
The location was great. Just a short driving distance from numerous hiking spots.

Overall, it was a really nice hotel to stay in a perfect location.
WWinzoneThe hotel in Spiez offers a very elegant setting and is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from the lake. The rooms feature a fresh and modern style. The breakfast area is pleasant, providing a rich variety of food, and the coffee is delicious.
GGuest UserGreat experience as the village is quite scenic and beautiful with great views from this hotel and near by , hosts are really friendly and welcoming. Breakfast options are good I must say as I like soft boil eggs and had no worries of not having to have scrambled eggs as a lot of people have complained. Parking is free . They also gave us our keys in a nice welcome box with instructions and some chocolates that was very thoughtfully prepared so full marks for that. The only concern I have is that Trip.com suggested a self catered kitchen which wasn’t there for preparing your food/dinner and also there was no microwave in the room which is extremely inconvenient. I think that’s the only negative as not everyone eats out in a restaurant and sometimes you’d get hungry at a later part of night and nothing is available. So next time I’ll definitely consider a hotel/lodge that has a at least a self catering kitchen.
KKevinApparently the hotel did not receive my booking at all, although i had documents showing otherwise. I had to call trip to get them to discuss with the hotel what happened and there were a lot of miscommunication and it was very frustrating for me since it wasnt my fault but trip and the hotel's. However, the staff was still very nice, and manage to provide some solutions for me and my friends.
GGuest UserWe booked a triple room. The room itself wasn't huge, featuring three single beds. However, the bathroom was surprisingly spacious, and a handy shelf provided ample space for our toiletries. The room also came with a small balcony adorned with fresh flowers, offering a breathtaking view of the Jungfrau in the distance. Being able to dine while enjoying such unparalleled scenery was undoubtedly the room's greatest added value.
The owner was very welcoming and provided a detailed introduction to the hotel's facilities. There's also a complimentary coffee machine in the lobby. While the coffee itself was just average, it certainly showed the hotel's thoughtfulness. Breakfast didn't offer a vast selection, which seems to be common in Swiss hotels. However, with items like bread, eggs, various cheeses, cold cuts, and fruit, we could still enjoy a satisfying meal.
