Excellent Stay with Amazing Service! I recently stayed at Belmont Hotel in Cebu, and it was an incredible experience! The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The food was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of options that cater to different tastes. What truly stood out was the exceptional service from the staff. Everyone was friendly, professional, and always ready to assist. A special shoutout to Beverly – she was incredibly nice, helpful, and went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. Her warm and friendly attitude made a significant difference, and I can't thank her enough. Additionally, staying at the hotel gave us free access to Mactan Newtown Beach, which was fantastic! The beach area had a beautiful swimming pool, and there were plenty of other activities to enjoy. It made the stay even more enjoyable and relaxing. I highly recommend Belmont Hotel for anyone visiting Cebu. With great food, comfortable rooms, exceptional service, and access to the beach, it’s a fantastic choice!

Our room was very big, but there was a weird smell, but that may be die to the renovations I’ve been making. We stayed in the development that was not completely done. Excellent pools and a very nice beach area offers, if you’re willing to spend the money, anything you’d like to do at a beach. there’s a bar along seafood bar we can get oysters crab, and even lobster.

It is good because the food is so good there and the view I also love the room however the room we staying the aircon is not good it has water coming out from it so the electrician come at our room also the TV is not Smart TV it should be Smart TV.

The hotel is so grand, everything looks fancy, aesthetic and expensive . The staff wears uniforms, everyone looks tidy and sharp. Staff are polite and easy to approach. The view from room 1535 is spectacular. I can see the sea, a small community, another building and part of the city. The room is well maintained, clean and tidy. Everything is inside. Free coffee, shampoo, body wash, soap, 2 towels, 1 small towel, 2 bottled water, hot water, tv, CR, bathroom, safety deposit box, very big window . My family was very happy during their overnight staycation.

Did not feel welcome at all, someone searched my bags prior entering the hotel, check in made me feel unwelcome as well, a big smile but asking for deposit and bombarding me with a ton of rules, room was noisy and not clean, lots of dust, even some potato chips on the furniture... Location is good though and there is a casino, but that's it, overpriced.

Cebu itself was a bit of a downer. However the hotel and staff were quite nice. The hotel grounds and beach was clean at all times but outside of the hotel was.. well.. unsightly and smelly if you plan to go for a walk. There are 2 nice restaurants nearby but if you plan to bring your food back or order take out by delivery, the hotel will charge you 250 pesos. The food at the hotel itself was okay, breakfast had lots of options and both restaurants at the hotel offered variety. The rooms were also spacious but their aren't any drapes so if you plan on sleeping in, that might be tough as you'll get up as soon as the sun rises. The walls are also thin and my first night was dreadful with a loud family next door. The staff did try their best to get them to quiet down which was appreciated. The pool and gym were also good and the pictures are a true representation of the hotel. Overall, the ambiance and light music was good and helped me to finish my 5000 word essay so that was great 👍

We arrived at 2:00 AM and wanted a place to stay near the airport. This is about as close as you can get. We were hoping to walk from the international terminal to the hotel but it didn't look walkable when we arrived so we had to call a taxi to take us the 400m. Overall we had a positive experience. The kids really enjoyed the pool and the breakfast was decent.

We stayed two nights here before continuing our journey. The stay was very pleasant. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, as were the lunches and dinners. The service was very good in all areas: the front desk, the pool, the restaurants and the cleaning service. We would stay there again.

We lived in this place from May 02 to May 06, 2024 with our family (2 adults, 2 children). The apar**ents left me with a mixed feeling. First, about the advantages: good location, good restaurants, supermarkets nearby, you can easily walk to Magellan's tomb. The room is quite large with a separate bedroom with a double bed and a spacious wardrobe, a separate kitchen-living room with two sofas (we had enough to spread out one to sleep two children). The room has a utility room with a washing and drying machine - this was a pleasant surprise. All residents are given a pass to the nice Savoy beach, there is a shuttle there or you can walk there. The beach is good. There are nice clean swimming pools on site. You need to understand that this is not a hotel in its classic form, no one will clean the room, change towels and bed linen, etc. The purpose of our 4-day stay in Mactan was to visit the south of Cebu (swimming with sharks, turtles, sardines, Kawasan waterfall) and an excursion to the island of Bohol. From this point there are excursion routes to the places we need. Now about the minuses: there is no luggage storage room, we arrived 3 hours before check-in time, since early check-in was impossible, we wanted to leave our bags and go for a walk and eat, but it turned out that the luggage storage room is paid and in a completely different building and it’s hot there You still have to walk with your bags. But the main disadvantage is some kind of karaoke nightclub right under the hotel windows. The music there plays very loudly from the evening until late at night (2:30 am!!!). The volume was so loud that our windows on the 8th floor vibrated! It's almost impossible to sleep! Imagine that you leave for an excursion at 4:00 in the morning. And the music is blasting until 2:00! This of course greatly worsens the quality of rest!!!!

The room was generally fine. However, there were a few issues that added to the unpleasantness, such as the doorknob of the restroom, which was kinda flimsy and tricky because you could end up locking yourself inside the restroom. Another issue is that there’s a some problem between the toilet handle and the flapper. You press the handle but it wouldn’t come back automatically, leading to the water constantly running from the water tank. my stay was generally great tho.

The bathroom didn't look clean. The toilet was broken. One of the two bathrooms had a broken shower booth, so water came out strangely. I recommend taking a shower booth (and bring plenty of filters) There were two towels per bed, and they gave out toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, and shampoo. There was Netflix and YouTube on the TV. There was a sofa where you could stretch your legs (I don't know how to open the middle one). There were four air conditioners, including the living room and the bedroom. The air conditioner dripped water, which was uncomfortable. There was a carrier in the closet of the room that I didn't know. I didn't want to use the closet because it didn't look clean. The kitchen was equipped with an induction stove, microwave, refrigerator, and cooking utensils. There were also sponges and dishwashing sponges. There was a swimming pool on the 5th floor of the hotel. There was a mini pool and playground equipment that kids could play in. There was a Korean mart, a laundromat, Starbucks, a mart, a pharmacy, a currency exchange place, restaurants, and a club around the hotel. There was a taxi stand nearby, so it was easy to get around You could pay with Korean won at the Korean Mart Overall, I was satisfied, and the staff were friendly and nice I would visit again if only the bathroom was clean

The room on the first floor connected to the swimming pool is very beautiful, very suitable for taking beautiful photos. The room is very spacious, but the bathroom facilities are a little short of hot water and the toilet paper is not replenished. However, you can inform the front desk again. It is not in the way. You can stay in the same toilet. The screws of the toilet seat are slightly loose. We have notified the front desk staff to repair it. The room on the first floor has a bit of a smell, but it can be dissipated after the air conditioner is turned on. The price is cheap and you can still walk to Alona Beach. It takes about 10 minutes to walk.

This hotel amazed me so much! Checking in and checking out was super easy. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Rooms are clean and fragrant. Pool is super nice and clean. Parking space is wide. Hotel restaurant offers great food. Overall I will recommend staying here if traveling to Panglao Island.

Great service and amenities! They always make sure they attend to the needs of their guests. The only cons is the beach that is not swimmable. I hope that the beach will be rehabilitated because we will definitely go back to Bluewater if given a chance. Cheers!

The hotel itself is very beautiful it just sad that they have very limited parking on site although a few block about 300 meter the parking space is provided. the room is huge hallway, firm and comfortable bed, soft pillow. pool is warm and just clean and maintain, food are excellent selection although not allowed to take out food if your companion still sleeping you will miss the breakfast. staff is very helpful and accommodating. Recommended this hotel.

Overall, the hotel is not bad. Cleaning on request. There is a kettle, no bottled water. There is a refrigerator. The furniture needs repair. The safe did not work, we asked to repair it, they promised, but they never did. The tap in the bathroom was poorly screwed, it wobbled. The bed, mattress, pillows are good, there is a blanket. The hotel territory is pleasant, there is a swimming pool. Breakfasts are a la carte, good. If you go on an excursion early, they give you a lunch box. You need to ask. You can get to the sea through the Westen Hotel. Guests of our hotel are allowed through. Overall, the hotel is not bad. You can spend several days.

However, it's worth noting that the lack of an elevator could be a challenge for some guests, especially those with heavy luggage or mobility issues. While the staff are willing to help with bags, I would advise against bringing too much or heavy luggage to avoid inconvenience. The option for transportation from the hotel to the pier port (Panglao to Tagbilaran) at a reasonable cost of 800 pesos was convenient and appreciated. It saved me the hassle of arranging transport myself. In terms of room amenities, the absence of a cabinet was a bit inconvenient, and having only one bedside drawer limited storage space. Additionally, encountering an air conditioning remote in Chinese was unexpected. While a translator app or assistance from the front desk resolved this issue, it could be an inconvenience for guests not familiar with such technology. On the bright side, the cleanliness and softness of the sheets enhanced the comfort of the stay. However, some corners of the shower could use more attention in terms of cleanliness. The place was overall quiet in terms of other in-house guests, but at certain times in the morning, it can get a bit noisy from the neighbor's dogs, which woke me up. Understandably, it's out of the hotel's control. While there were aspects of my stay that I enjoyed, such as the friendly staff and comfortable bedding, there are areas where improvements could enhance the overall guest experience, particularly in terms of room amenities and cleanliness. Overall, the room price for the stay was reasonable and offered good value, complementing the overall experience. Would definitely recommend this place and rebook for future trips.
