We had a wonderful stay at Mercure Mactan and were very happy with our experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located in Mactan Newtown, where there are plenty of food options, restaurants, and cafes, all just a short walk from the hotel. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We were also celebrating a birthday during our stay, and the hotel kindly prepared a simple cake for us, which we really appreciated. It was a lovely little touch that made the celebration more special. Another great thing is that guests can enjoy access to the pool and beach in Mactan Newtown, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The only area that could be improved is the breakfast selection, but it wasn’t a major issue and didn’t take away from our overall experience. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely consider coming back!

The island was beautiful and we really loved the place. However, I was disappointed with the drone policy. Even though I already had a permit, drone flying was only allowed in one specific area, which did not feel safe because it was surrounded by water. It would be better to provide safer and more flexible flying locations for visitors with approved permits.

I love this place because it is a big property with many different parts and things to do. There really many pools, an aqua park, an inflatable island on a large pool, a game room, a bar, a restaurant, a souvenir shop (that also sells basic medicines and toiletry needs), bathrooms, a garden, the beach front. If you are a family with children of different ages and even if you have grandparents in tow, this would be perfect. They’re not stingy with lounge chairs either and in one pool, you can play volleyball. Their rooms are good sized and comes with a small ref, hair dryer, a carafe and free tea and coffee. Their breakfast buffet is awesome with sooo many food and drinks to choose from. There is a BDO cash machine and their staff are very helpful and polite. Grab food are not allowed to deliver at the lobby, they can only make it to the gate of the property and while it is not far to walk there, you can ask for free shuttle to bring you to the gate to claim your order and then back to the lobby. They also take credit cards and water stations on each floor where you can refill your water bottles. There are 2 large water bottles in each room. I think the one issue I have is - I perceived this resort to be family friendly because of the many kinds of activities for different ages but our rooms came with bathrooms that has glass wall where a person outside the bathroom can pull up the blinds. I mean, why? When I booked the rooms, it didn’t mention that the bathroom would be like that. I wish they would provide a distinction during booking so that people who don’t want bathrooms to be like that can avoid it.

I stayed at Bluewater Maribago during my trip to Cebu! From the moment I arrived, I felt the resort vibe instantly, thanks to the hotel's expansive grounds and abundant greenery 🌴✨. The staff were all incredibly kind and their smiling service left a lasting impression. The room was clean, and with multiple pools, there's plenty to enjoy within the hotel itself. I particularly enjoyed relaxing at the private beach and the pools. The location was also convenient, with supermarkets and restaurants nearby, making it easy to venture outside the hotel. While the hotel restaurants felt a bit pricey, they offered a good variety of dishes, making them a nice option for enjoying a leisurely meal at the resort. Overall, the staff's service was excellent, and it was a hotel where I could truly relax in a tropical atmosphere 😊.

Location wise, this is pefect. You can just take any public transport and you are there when you get off. The staff are very well trained, very nice and very polite. Everything looked very clean and even if the hotel is not that big, they had a badminton/volleball courts. There is enough beach front to walk around. For a Lapu-lapu beach, their beach is clean enough as well. They had plenty of covered lounge couches to enjoy beach front even under the sun. The pool is small but it feels clean. We paid an extra ₱ 500 to get the ”upgrade” for the ocean view and it was our biggest mistake causing us to lose sleep. Apparently, the room assigned to us was part of an adjoining room and the sound insulation was terrible. We can hear everything happening in the other room and unfortunately the couple in the other room were going at it very loudly (the girl was shouting) until around 5 in the morning. We don't recommend the breakfast buffet as well especially if you are paying the extra ₱1,100 for another person. Very few choices, very salty meat dishes and we don't know exactly what caused it but we had a stomachache after breakfast.

First the cons , their in room dining and housekeeping delivery is very very slow. .For getting a bottle of water l had to wait for more than 30 mins and 5 calls . it might be cuz it was a Friday night . l didn't like their straightup bar , ambience was good but the cocktails weren't good .infact one of the cocktails l told them to change as they completely missed my instructions . Now the Pros The Hotel sits just beside the IT park and it connects directly to the Ayala mall . the room we were in Studio room with kitchenette had all the things necessary for a corporate long stay , refer the pictures. It has a proper functional working table for remote workers . This location l found better than the SM city side . Room was clean , comfortable beds . lot of space in the cupboard .didn't get a chance to use their swimming pool . Very modern rooms probably newly renovated or built .

My overall experience at Holiday Inn Cebu was quite disappointing, especially for a Holiday Inn brand. It fell far short of my expectations. 1. There was a feedback form in the room, but no pen. Does the hotel assume every guest carries their own writing tools? I couldn't even fill out the feedback form. 2. The policy of collecting a 1,500 PHP daily deposit is very unreasonable. Most hotels nowadays have abolished the deposit system, both out of trust in their guests and to enhance the check-in experience. I've stayed at many excellent hotels in Cebu, and this is the first time I've encountered a daily deposit. It inevitably makes one feel that the hotel lacks trust in its guests. 3. The room size and amenities are only comparable to budget hotels like Home Inn in China, which doesn't match Holiday Inn's brand positioning. 4. Breakfast service was chaotic. There was no staff to guide guests to tables. Many tables were empty, but there was no cutlery on them, making it difficult to find a place to eat. 5. When I went to the restaurant for breakfast, I proactively showed my room number to the front desk staff, and they confirmed it. However, during my meal, the front desk staff came over again to ask for my room number. Such basic service oversights seriously detract from the guest experience. 6. I went for breakfast at 9:30 AM, and the fruit section was almost empty. No staff refilled the fruit until I finished my meal and left.

The breakfast menu is outstanding, offering a massive variety of fresh choices that creatively changed from one day to the next.The absolute highlight of our stay was the amazing roof deck. Sipping expert-level craft cocktails while watching a magnificent sunset was unforgettable. Check-out was just as fast and professional as our arrival. We cannot recommend this place highly enough!

I had a pleasant stay at Savoy Hotel Mactan Cebu. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, making it easy to relax after a long day. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and quick to assist with any requests. The hotel facilities, especially the swimming pool, were well-maintained, and the location was convenient, with easy access to the airport and nearby attractions. The breakfast offered a good variety of food, although adding more local dishes would make it even better. Overall, I had a great experience and would recommend this hotel to both business and leisure travellers.

This is my first time booking this hotel and I thought I will never have a chance to stay here. Before my wedding, I booked this hotel since it’s near the church location. We enjoyed the stay. It’s just that we did not get to enjoy the TV because YouTube or other apps won’t work. All throughout the stay we weren’t able to use the TV. Also I called the lobby 5x to ask for a replacement for the 2 mugs for coffee before someone actually gets there to replace it AT THE MORNING. Haven’t also had the time to enjoy pool because we check in late. But their service is good. The hotel is nice. I will surely book again if their TV is already fixed lol. Also two key cards for room and elevator is really hassle on our part. It should’ve been 1 key card, all access, 2pcs since we’re 2 adults. I really appreciate the hotel staff for catering my entourage, we were able to prepare before my wedding and took some pictures at the lobby and pool. Thank you!
