"Affordable for backpackers. On the first floor, near the entrance, there's a coffee machine with a few tables and chairs โ€“ it used to be a small cafe. The reception/cashier is right after that. Facilities: 1. Wi-Fi on the 2nd floor. 2. Liquid soap is already in the dispenser; you just pump it. However, it's better to bring your own as this soap made my skin a bit dry. (It's in the bathroom; recommended to bring your own as not everyone's skin agrees with it). 3. Free coffee/tea + sugar. 4. Bread + chocolate jam on the 3rd floor if you're hungry at midnight, or you can have it for breakfast. 5. Prayer mat (sajadah) for Muslims on the 3rd floor; you can also pray there. 6. The room is on the 2nd floor. You have to take off your sandals/shoes and wear the hotel's. 7. You can rent a towel for Rp 5,000 if you forget to bring yours. 8. Locker. In the morning, there's a porridge seller in front of the hotel. It costs Rp 25,000 / $1.5, and it's tasty. It's only 300-500 meters to Alun-alun Bandung/Asia Africa."

It is a good location for sightseeing in Bandung city, as the Bandung Conference Memorial Hall and Asia-Africa Street are within a 5-minute walk. The room I stayed in was spacious and nice, but it didn't look like the room in the original photo and it seemed worse than that room. The advertisement photo shows the window on the left, but the window in the room I stayed in was on the right.

There are a lot of lizards anyway. Other than that it's great. It's close to the sea, so you can go surfing. Great location. There is also a restaurant next door, so you can have a relaxing holiday.

The hotel was felt to be overpriced. Toilet and shower rooms smelled a bit, but acceptable. The hotel front desk is open 24 hours a day and when I asked about the city to them, they kindly helped me. Appreciate for the help. I recommend you.

This 3BR Villa at Ciater Highland Resort has seen its glorious days and need some facade maintenance, the villa has an unused built-in woodburning fireplace! I don't reckon what type of architecture it is...so cute! But no matter how cold the weather is in Indonesia, I never think we will ever need woodburning fireplace in the house.. hahaha. All furnitures and interior are good quality old and calming, feels like home... furthermore the spacious backyards, well maintained rooms with basic amenities provided, sparkling clean villa and well equipped kitchen was making the stay pretty much enjoyable. Please bring own food whether you want to cook yourself in the kitchen or prepared meals because Grab/Gofood is very difficult to reach the area (Tea Plantation with misty hills of Ciater, Subang). The Villa itself is very close to Ciater Highland Resort Security Gate, so it feels nice and safe even the CHR looks like an abandoned villa complex. 8 minutes away from Ciater Hot Springs and around 30 mins from Tangkuban Perahu Volcano. I would say it's a perfect gateway in Ciater area.. just don't expect any public transportation to both Hot Spring and the volcano...
