This hotel is located midway between Fox Glacier and Lake Wanaka, with not much around it, though there's a bar and restaurant nearby that serves good local food. As for the hotel itself, it's a bit smaller and older compared to other New Zealand hotels, but it's well-maintained. Having a parking spot right outside the entrance was a huge plus, especially since it was raining that day, which made it super convenient.

Guest UserThe male receptionist who greeted us was not particularly friendly; and only when we got to our first floor room did we read about a luggage service. The room was tastefully furnished and clean, and other staff we interacted with were friendly. However the biggest issue is that the walls between rooms are are paper thin so we could hear people next door and doors banging. This woke us up early on both nights we stayed. If you stay - bring ear plugs. There was a lounge with a bar - the bar was permanently closed so there was no where to get a hot or cold drink unless you went to a cafe down the road.

We came here to stay by train. Although the motel is not very new, it has everything. There are supermarkets and daily necessities stores at the foot of the mountain. It takes about ten minutes to walk there. When the sidewalk is about to disappear, there is a trail connecting it in a hidden place, and you can walk to the parking lot of the grocery store.
The hotel can pick you up at the train station, which is actually very suitable for people like us who have big luggage from overseas and don’t have a car. recommend

QiqidetaikongmanyouThe self-driving trip from Christchurch to Greymouth lasted until very late, and we went to Pancake Rock and West Piont, a nearby 1-hour drive. After checking out the accommodation, this one suited our requirements better, so we decided to drive a little longer. Hokkitika, it was already past 11 o'clock when we arrived at the hotel. I called the staff and told them to put the key directly in the room. This is a family suite with 2 rooms. Because I booked one bedroom and one living room, the other twin room was Not used.
There is a Glow Warm spot in Hokkitika, but I didn’t go there because I arrived too late.
The living room of the room is spacious and can be connected to the APP for screencasting. There is a wireless charger on the dining table. The bathroom is relatively large and the bed is surprisingly clean and comfortable. When I wake up in the morning and look at the sun outside, I can see the local residents outside the window. It feels like I am living in a small town. On, unique and beautiful memories. Everyone put the 🔑 on the office desk when they went out in the morning. Overall, the impression was very good. recommend! !

刘In the town of hokitika on the west coast of New Zealand, very close to the Firefly Valley, the grasshopper needs a few minutes walk. In addition, the hokitika valley is also worth going, the water is blue and clear and bright. A little better in New Zealand, the attractions are basically free. We booked the cheapest room with no separate bathroom. In addition, pay attention to Trip.com can not contact the store directly. It is booked through other agents. The room type facilities in the middle may have errors.

The room was quite nice, with a large lawn in front and a supermarket nearby, though it was a bit small and had limited stock. Parking was available in front, but the glacier viewpoint next door was mostly obscured by rain and clouds, which was a bit of a disappointment.

GB Asia-trotterA good 1 night stop on our long journey from queenstown to the glaciers and Punakaiki. The room was basic but met our needs with microwave, kettle etc, plenty of hot water and a warm bed (it was very cold in Haast at the time). The staff were very friendly and informative of the area. On the managers suggestion we drove to the nearby haast beach to watch the sunset. A well worth it local excursion.
