Comfortable beds, I had a really good sleep. Great room amenities except that there is no individual fridge in room and the shared fridge in the common area is small. Just few minutes drive away from the city center. There is a restaurant run by the hotel, price is on the higher end but food is just so-so.
I went to the South Island of New Zealand in March and stayed in this cottage at the Greymouth Motel. The room was quite large, with a kitchen area equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, induction cooker, set of tableware, and set of pots. Although I didn't use it, it felt good. The room facilities were relatively old, but it was very clean and quiet, and the price/performance ratio was high.
Hotel facilities are very good, the room is very large, you can cook, but the rules are more demanding, even the green mouth can not be cooked, there is a need to cook a careful look at the instructions in the room oh ~ room facilities are complete, clean, bathroom wet Separated, the bath water is great. On the night of the day we stayed, the boss specially posted a note to us at the reception. The heating in the room was already open, and it was very heart-warming. The hotel is just opposite the Glacier reservation hall and is just a minute's walk away. The location is very convenient. Very worthy of recommendation.
The male receptionist who greeted us was not particularly friendly; and only when we got to our first floor room did we read about a luggage service. The room was tastefully furnished and clean, and other staff we interacted with were friendly. However the biggest issue is that the walls between rooms are are paper thin so we could hear people next door and doors banging. This woke us up early on both nights we stayed. If you stay - bring ear plugs. There was a lounge with a bar - the bar was permanently closed so there was no where to get a hot or cold drink unless you went to a cafe down the road.
When the aunt at the front desk saw me call out my name, I didn’t need anything to check in. She gave the key and brought it to the room. She explained the use of the key, power supply and air conditioner. She also told me that the supermarket is close to the hotel. The supermarket is quite big. Everything is complete. Gave a bottle of milk
The car parked at the door of his room, all rooms on the first floor. The room is large, the bed is 1.8 meters, 3 pillows, bath products, hair dryer, kettle, microwave oven, stove, towels, no slippers, toothpaste, toothbrush
The rooms are clean. Greymouth is a big town. There are many shops and people. Dinner is at the restaurant at the entrance of Pancake Rock, not near the hotel.
The hotel does not include breakfast, you will leave after you eat bread and check out at 10 o’clock on time
I got upgraded to another room so I was thankful for that !
The room smelled a bit (moldish) even though the guests already there had opened the window but by night, it got better.
Otherwise, the room was big and had a heater which was really convenient.
I was happy to see a sink in the room but it wasn't usable unfortunately. I thought it would have been nice!
The kitchen is well equipped, there are books available in the dining room!
Emplacement is very good, close to the train station and a few activities.
The hotel owners are really warm and helpful. The room is immaculate and clean. It is located near to the major attrations, shops and buses. Thanks for the great hospitality, we really enjoyed our stay and the walk/view from the glacier. - Family of 3 from Singapore who stayed on 16 Dec 24 :)
The hotel is near the water fountain scenic spot, the surrounding environment is beautiful, all are cabins, the rooms are clean and spacious, fully equipped, and there is a kitchenette. The hotel has a restaurant with a wide variety and good taste.
The hotel is right next to the departure point for the Fox Glacier helicopter, and you can walk there after checking in. It rained when we came so we couldn't make the trip, but the hotel itself was pretty good and the room was large. The only drawback was that the water pressure was very low and the shower was not very comfortable. Breakfast is a Western-style buffet breakfast, which is not rich but enough to satisfy you. You can have dinner for white people at the whitepub coffee shop next to the hotel. It costs NZD 25-30 per person and the taste is okay. Hotels in Fox Glacier are generally expensive. After 11 days in New Zealand, this is the only one with a price over 1,000.

WWater TravelThe staff is very helpful, she asked me where to go when checking out, she told us the road is being blocked for our next next station. So that we can change our itinerary anc book another motel, otherwise our trip will be in a mess.
The motel location is good, only the walking distance can reach the town center and the beach. However the motel is quiet, we can hear the bird sound to wake us up.
But pls note that the motel do not provide toothpaste and toothbrush, remember bring them by yourself.
HHUACHIHWe came here to stay by train. Although the motel is not very new, it has everything. There are supermarkets and daily necessities stores at the foot of the mountain. It takes about ten minutes to walk there. When the sidewalk is about to disappear, there is a trail connecting it in a hidden place, and you can walk to the parking lot of the grocery store.
The hotel can pick you up at the train station, which is actually very suitable for people like us who have big luggage from overseas and don’t have a car. recommend
QQiqidetaikongmanyouThe self-driving trip from Christchurch to Greymouth lasted until very late, and we went to Pancake Rock and West Piont, a nearby 1-hour drive. After checking out the accommodation, this one suited our requirements better, so we decided to drive a little longer. Hokkitika, it was already past 11 o'clock when we arrived at the hotel. I called the staff and told them to put the key directly in the room. This is a family suite with 2 rooms. Because I booked one bedroom and one living room, the other twin room was Not used.
There is a Glow Warm spot in Hokkitika, but I didn’t go there because I arrived too late.
The living room of the room is spacious and can be connected to the APP for screencasting. There is a wireless charger on the dining table. The bathroom is relatively large and the bed is surprisingly clean and comfortable. When I wake up in the morning and look at the sun outside, I can see the local residents outside the window. It feels like I am living in a small town. On, unique and beautiful memories. Everyone put the 🔑 on the office desk when they went out in the morning. Overall, the impression was very good. recommend! !
GGuest UserThe hotel in Haast captured the essence of rugged beauty and tranquility. Surrounded by dramatic landscapes and pristine wilderness, it provided a true escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The cozy rooms and comfortable amenities offered a welcome respite after a day of exploring. The knowledgeable staff provided valuable insights into the local area, enhancing the overall experience. the hotel was a hidden gem in the remote and untouched Haast region.
JJIEAfter the check-in, the boss personally knocked on the door and asked me that your child also needs to pay the same amount as the adult. So I gave him another 25 New Zealand dollars based on the room rate. And added that the hotel profile says that children are allowed to stay and my child is only 5 year old! I don't understand such charges! I have been to many countries and this is the first time I have met! Let me talk about the speed! Basically, there is no net around 7:00 in the evening! The landlord said that I might have it later.
雷雷The hotel location is very good, the service is good, there are features, it is raining that day, the weather is cold, the heating is turned on in advance, as soon as you enter the room, the room is warm, and the room has a kitchenette.
