The Rorbuer is spacious, cosy, and fully equipped. Good view by the mountains. Can see northern light outside the Rorbuer when the weather is good. Although a bit pricey, will recommend all to stay here.
The room is very small. It is just a fast hotel. There is breakfast, but it is not delicious. The only advantage is that it is very close to the airport. You can walk to the airport. The price-performance ratio is good. The most important thing is that I saw the northern lights at the entrance of the hotel.
The hotel breakfast is very rich and served in buffet style.
There are all kinds of appetizer salads, staple bread, meat, drinks, juice and yogurt. It is the most abundant breakfast in Norway.
The room has a great view, facing the sea, and you can see the red house opposite.
ps I saw the aurora at the door of the hotel on the day of check-in, which was a bonus!
Great hotel. Leknes is a small town. I rented a car from Leknes Airport. It is only a few minutes away from the hotel. Parking at the entrance of the hotel is also free. The location is easy to find. There is a gas station and a supermarket nearby, which are only a few minutes' walk away, which is very convenient.
The hotel room facilities are also very new, very comfortable to live, and the restaurant downstairs serves breakfast, which is very hearty.
I stayed in the Lofoten Islands for three days and two nights. I came and went by plane in Leknes. Personally, I think this is a more reasonable way. Leknes is indeed a convenient transfer station, and this hotel is also very good. , In general, it was a great experience and worth recommending.
My visit to Lofoten was solely because of the Northern Lights.
As a solo traveler. a central location, inexpensive, safe, clean are the key factors i base on for the hotel search.
Fast Hotel’s convenient location, self-check in, are superb. But during my stay, from check-in till the next morning, the entrance door to my room could not be locked at all and i had to go out without locking my room. Till the next morning a young male employee promised to help fixing it. He did. Was and am grateful to him.
On the second night, i ended up
not searching for northern light but the LIGHT - electricity broke down and internet connection was also down - from before midnight till 01:29. - and the hotel main entrance door, usually remains closed and is to be opened via pin code - now the sensor is not working (it is now 03:45, still not working), making my plan of going out to observe the northern light and coming back to the hotel not possible.
Somehow, during the wee hours at the lobby i met someone who works nearby and stays at the same hotel, taught me how to manully open the faulty main entrance glass door (just use hands, with slight force, to manually slide open the glass doors to both sides. It didn’t require much force at all.)
While technical hiccups can be rectified, here is my suggestion to the Hotel - please install a light for writing desk. The whole room has only two side table bed lights. No general light for the room at all (there are recessed ceiling lights but switches cannot be found). At the writing desk, a light sauce is a must-have.
That said, i still like the hotel a lot because of its location and self-check in, completely without a Reception counter/area - that is wonderful.
G
reat is also he closeness to the bus terminal (not noisy at all) is pivotal as the buses (running infrequently in Lofoten) are the “lifeline” for those who visit Lofoten without a rented car.
As a solo traveller, i will want to come back to this (and/or similar) Fast Hotel. i like it. It is like a trusted friend, sometimes not feeling well, but a friend is a friend.
As everyone said, there is a great opportunity to not receive the check-in letter. The hotel contact on Sunday only has voice, and finally rely on the active assistance of trip customer service to successfully obtain the password.
The hotel is very clean and the front desk staff is very nice. I arrived at 10 o'clock and walked a few steps from the bus to the hotel. The location is also good, near the port, but there is no kettle in the room.

The hotel reception is very good! Because I read the comments and introduction, I know that there will be bunks! So in advance and Ctrip said that there are people who do not arrange for the elderly. The reply is no bunk! Do not worry! But go to the hotel front desk and say that there is no request, and the hotel is full, if you ask in advance, you can do not arrange. Although Ctrip finally apologized for the compensation, the overall booking was not good! Then the hotel front desk showed me another room without a bunk bed! Say if you remember to remember again next time! The front desk also introduced a lot of local conditions to us! Cook for three nights, one day under super heavy snow

EEddie LowThe Rorbuer is spacious, cosy, and fully equipped. Good view by the mountains. Can see northern light outside the Rorbuer when the weather is good. Although a bit pricey, will recommend all to stay here.
GGuest User😊Good hotel with best service. A lady at reception (sorry for not asking your name) was helping us carrying very heavy luggage to the room with high stairs. Sufficiency amenities and kitchen ware and dishwashing soap. Coffee, tea, cocoa with cookies serves in the morning with no extra charge.
🥹 only one door handle fell off but temporary fixable by ourselves.

FfengdoFacilities: quite complete. Bedroom upstairs, living room, kitchenette, bathroom downstairs.
Hygiene: Very clean.
Environment: great.
Service: Not bad.
Sauna available. Breakfast was ok. Parking is easy. Recommended.
HHAISIThe hotel staff are very enthusiastic and always love to help. The breakfast is small but good and delicious, suitable for children, but the room is small. The location is opposite the Narvik War Museum
DDANVery close to the airport, there is a parking lot, but you need to pay, you can park your car on the side of the road, it seems to be free before 8am. The front desk service is very good, there is a question and answer. But the breakfast at the hotel started at 8 o'clock, which is very inconvenient for people who catch the early morning.
QQisqisStaying at a rorbuer hotel in Norway was an unforgettable experience. These charming cabins, originally used by fishermen, have been beautifully refurbished to offer modern comforts while preserving their authentic character.

WWLD028This hotel not only offers a rich breakfast and dinner, so you can enjoy the deliciousness of your journey, but also an amazing feature - you can see the aurora as soon as you go out at night! For the first time, I witnessed the aurora visible to the naked eye, and the shock and touch were unspeakable. The colorful bands dance in the night sky as if it were nature's most beautiful performance. Moreover, the sunrise and sunset here are breathtakingly beautiful, and the golden sun shines on the snow, as if the whole world is coated with a gold edge. Whether it is the aurora or sunrise or sunset, this trip has become an unforgettable memory!
