Clean and comfortable. We had a nice spacious room on the 8th floor that had views over the town. Staff were friendly. Restaurant had standard breakfast and dinner fare, ok, but nothing that stood out. Perhaps the best feature is that it's only a minute's walk away from the visitors centre, from where you enter the ancient Petra site. Old Street Restaurant in the lane just outside the hotel is great.

The hotel is quite close to the ancient city of Petra. Breakfast is also ok. The hotel has a buffet in the evening. 10 yuan (local money) is equivalent to RMB 100. The facilities were very limited for a camp welcoming tourists and with quite a high price. We didn't expect this when we saw the rather positive reviews and ratings... - When we arrived at check-in time, it seemed that our rooms were not ready and when we entered them, they were not clean at all (traces of excrement in the toilets, the shower drain was blocked, etc.). - Then it was mentioned to us only at the arrival that the electricity is available only from 6 am to 8 am and then from 6pm to 12am. We can wash only in the evening and we have to ask (sometimes several times) to have hot water. This information should be absolutely present in the description of the hotel or at the time of the reservation. Even if this is due to the fact that the camp is far away, it is still the least an hotel can offer for the price paid. - Although the camp is on a hill and it was December, it was also much too cold and the rooms were not well insulated for that. We could see and feel the wind passing through the fabric of the walls. We had made camps in the desert before, where the temperature were the same, and that was still well insulated from the cold so that proves that the rooms in this camp are not at all adapted for that. Moreover, there is no point in taking the AC to warm up (a paying service) since the electricity cuts off at midnight and the cold comes in from everywhere in the room. - The meal is not excellent and expensive (15 JOD). - The road to arrive at the camp is rocky. It would have been nice to have the information to know if our car could access it or not.

A very very clean, quiet hotel on the heights of Petra. The welcome is great, the breakfast very generous, served on their covered terrace with a beautiful view, the rooms are very spacious as well as the bathroom. We also tried the dinner which was very good and prepared by the mother. We paid 10 JOD per person for several starters, the main course (Mansaf) and the dessert. Only small downside: it's a little far from the center to go out in the evening on foot, you have to take the car but it was our choice because we wanted to be quiet and given the horn concerts all night long, we did well to get out of the way! Free parking and WiFi available. Don't hesitate to call the owner who will come and pick you up if you have trouble finding it, he does it spontaneously! A hotel that I really recommend! Strong points of the hotel: Beautiful panorama · Quiet · Suitable for children · Good value for money Rooms: Very spacious and bright, each with a very large bathroom. There is air conditioning and the bedding is impeccable. The so-called luxurious rooms have a King size bed, an adorable balcony overlooking the valley. Each room has its own bathroom (don't trust the English translation which translates to shared bathroom!) Food and drinks: It's the mother who prepares the dinners, a real treat. Tea is always offered and water is included in the price of dinner

We were due to stay in a Bedouin camp, but couldn't because of the recent flooding in Petra. The staff at the Shaqilath put up a group of 15 of us at the very last minute, and saved our holiday! They were friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble, the rooms were comfortable and warm., so can't fault it. Would highly recommend.

Petra Heart hotel is at the Wadi Musa city centre... Around 1km uphill from Petra Visitor centre.... So one needs a taxi to go there and come.... But all said and done...this is a nice hotel.... Clean rooms.... Running hot and cold water.... AC is nice.... Rooms have a good view over Wadi Musa.... Breakfast is a small buffet with a live egg counter.... Decent collection of Jordanian humus and some fruits and bread with cheese, cold cuts and warm section... The hospitality is excellent..... Gives very good suggestions about how to go about Treasury and Monastery visits.... All in all. Definitely delivers its promise and worth the stay.

It was unexpectedly good. I didn't have high hopes for my stay in Petra, but the room had everything it needed. It was very clean, the toiletries were of good quality, the bed was very comfortable, and the drinks in the minibar were all good. Free. The boss gave us a welcome drink and learned that we were only visiting the ancient city of Petra for one day. He gave us suggestions on the route, which was very helpful! However, there will suddenly be the sound of praying in the middle of the night. If you sleep well, it doesn't matter. If not, you can bring your own earplugs. In addition, the toilet paper roll is too difficult to pull out. It can be improved a little. Everything else is perfect!

We spent one night in this wonderful property and they were very kind with us. Very special treatment and helpful. The owner took us a city tour to the highest point in city called nigh castles with herbal tea. I would recommend this place for everyone to stay in Petra. See you soon

The boss is so friendly and there is a parking lot so you can park It takes 3 minutes to drive to Petra and the boss tells you about the course and recommends it. The hostel was clean and so nice. I will definitely come back here next time I come to Petra.
