I absolutely loved the complimentary welcome cheese platter. The breakfast box was a bit basic, so we just grabbed a quick bite before heading into town for coffee. The town is tiny, but I really enjoyed its quiet and peaceful atmosphere, and it wasn't crowded. Every day, three little ducks would visit our balcony, waiting for cookies, which the kids absolutely adored. Both bedrooms were very clean, and the bathroom was huge. The basic toaster, microwave, and fridge were very useful, and room service was available from the restaurant. The tree outside the front door displayed beautiful changing colors throughout the day, which was very pretty.
It was a very good stay. The room was spacious and the surroundings were quiet. Above all, the view of 9 Mile Beach from the balcony was amazing. However, this hotel does not provide slippers or toothbrushes, so please bring your own.
You can tell a lot about a motel by the toilet paper they use, and this place had soft but strong paper in place, so off to a good start.
This place isn't going to win any style awards any time soon, but it doesn't need to - it's a place to sleep, with good ckean sheets and a comfy mattress. It does what it says on the tin and is solid affordable accommodation.
The room is big, with lots of beds, and the kitchen is fully equipped with tableware and kitchenware. The bathroom is clean and there is a separate parking space. There is also a terrace and barbecue equipment, but unfortunately I didn't have enough time to use them. The room is a bit far from the hotel reception, 7 kilometers away, and you need to drive and navigate there yourself.
All check-in information including the gate and door codes were notified by email. The room has two modern and spacious bedrooms and a large bathroom. It can accommodate up to four people. There is a washing machine and dryer in the public area. The hotel is located in the center of the town, and there are many restaurants within a 5-minute drive. It takes 15 minutes to drive to lease 65 farm to eat oysters. The hotel has free parking.
Excellent site to look over The Nuts and galaxy in the evening. Beautiful sunset and sunrise just in front of my room. Close to Stanley Photo Frame which just locates at the back of the Inn. Thanks to Romeo for booking the Hursey Seafoods which serves tasty crayfish and abalone!!
Spacious cottage, beautiful beds. However, the wifi is so poor from Redbill cottage that we cannot connect to internet. Telstra connection is very poor and intermittent. Hence, we have no internet connection during our stay at the hotel. The swim pool was not made available to use.
Free laundry is much appreciated.

From the check in to the check out the experience was excellent. Housekeeping Dept. Should be bit more conscious about tge service. Ample parking. All what you need is there within the hotel.
I heard that you can hear penguins singing at night in the hotel. What a pity😞It was cold outside at night in August. I was excited to see a little blue penguin in the bushes by the sea while strolling. The Penguin Island in Melbourne is still large and needs to be booked in advance. The hotel front desk got off work early, so I picked up the key and checked in by myself. They are all single-family houses with terraces where you can watch the sunrise. The kitchen utensils are complete. It would be perfect if it was equipped with a washing machine.
Great place, good facilities and clean rooms.
Shout out to the ****** who wake up at 5 am stand around talking and wake everyone up and then start their noisy cars and leave to go to another hotel.

GGuest UserHotel was great, didn’t realise it was situated over the top of a pub. But we didn’t research. The supreme king bed was the absolute best thing ever! So comfy and nice big comfy pillows!
Sink to wash hands located in room not toilet which we found odd and cleaner only made 1 side of the bed not the other. But great friendly staff, clean room pretty darn good for the price!
GGuest UserThe room has a lot of space, and the shelf is a bit low, but the bedroom is separated from the living room, so it is convenient to use. The bedroom has a terrace, so you can stand outside directly. Although there is no air conditioner in the room, the wall-mounted electric heater is very powerful. Anyway, I Neither the child nor the child feel cold. The bed was also very comfortable. This is the breakfast, there are too few varieties, it needs to be improved!

GGuest UserThe resort is about a 50-minute drive from Cradle Mountain and a 15-minute drive from Sheffield. For me, the location is moderate and the price is reasonable, but the views from the other buildings are not good enough.
The house is fully equipped with a variety of kitchen equipment and utensils, including ovens, microwaves, toasters, rice cookers, etc. There are also washing machines and dryers.
There is a stove in the living room, and there are heaters and electric heaters in the room, making it very warm in the room.
I will stay again.
FFionaThe location was so close to Port Arthur Historic Site. We had an early night after having dinner there as they have a bar and restaurant on site. Dinner was good, service was great. Food came within 30 to 45 minutes wait time. We needed to use the laundry service onsite, and the cost of 4 x $1 coin to operate washer and same price for tumble dryer. There was not enough site parking near our room so we had to go right to the end and park at overflow parking. Internet wifi was available but very slow. The shower was a very tight space with a shower curtain enclosure. Toiletries like hair shampoo, soap bar, body wash and conditioner were supplied. Beds and towels were all clean and up to standards. Great for a one night stay for family.
AAnonymous UserWe managed to do early check-in before official time. However, we realised the cottage was not clean at all as rubbish wasn't cleared, floors not vacuumed & towels left hanging around, likely by previous guests. So we had to return to reception to feedback & they immediately got housekeeping to do the job. Reception staff could do better with more smiles though.
Cottage was quite roomy for 2 pax, but could be a bit tight if 4 pax were to stay together. Pretty basic accommodation but it was strategically located near Cradle Mountain visitor centre. Overall, a unique experience to stay in a mountain cottage like this, just that free WiFi was only available at reception & not in the cottage itself.
GGuest UserVery good place. Kids loves it. Place was big, we love it. We just wish the heater can heat the whole place, but unfortunately, it can only heat (warm) upstairs when its really cold. Also, there’s a strong smell when you open the door, between kitchen and toilet/shower room. Can’t describe the smell, but very strong. Also, if you will need to cook, you must bring your own pan/sauce pan as those ones inside the kitchen cupboard was rusty/old. We don’t mind it for 1 day stay though. We’ll definetely book again, one day 👍 #Room17
SSwanna HYou get what you paid for. A very run down motel in need of a renovation. The pictures looks like it was taken a long time ago, definitely didn’t look like that condition.
There are no stairs, so be prepared to climb up with luggage. The toilet was so old that the plastic was crusty. The shower curtains were hanging for its dear life on 2 rings left. The room was quite dark and scary with missing lights. There was a fluorescent light just lying on the floor. The ceiling had some water damage previously causing maybe a hole or cracks in the ceiling, so they patched it up with a board with 2 out of the 4 screws still intact. It looked very unsafe and could fall any time.
JJinlingwutongFully experienced the natural scenery of the Australian countryside, walking in the small town of Ross at dusk, taking a walk to see the sunset is so beautiful. Although it is called a motel, the overall environment is good, all are single-family houses on the first floor.
