"After leaving the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, I was a little tired going back to Las Vegas, so I chose to stay in Flagstaff. After much deliberation, I chose Fairfield Inn, which is a very good hotel. The town is not big, and it is very convenient to go anywhere."

"The hotel was nice, room was nice. Coffee maker was dirty, but the room was overall ok. We enjoyed the indoor heated pool. The fitness center was Not to our liking tho. No ac and felt like a sauna. Only has a treadmill and a bike. The Continental breakfast , I’m sorry was horrible. It was a decent stay but would probably not be my first choice to stay again. "

"While the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, the beds in the room were so uncomfortable. The mattresses were way too hard and felt like a spring was trying to poke through. There were small flying bugs constantly in the bathroom. I would not recommend this hotel if you're looking for a comfortable night's sleep."

"The hotel is very good, just opened very new. It also has the taste of decoration. Breakfast is good compared to hotels of the same grade in the United States, with hot dishes. I like this city a lot and have stayed several times. The scenery is good."

"I booked a room type on the 2nd floor on Trip, but I said that the 2nd floor was full. I was a bit lost at the moment. (Because the 1st floor will be noisy, and we are indeed affected by the footsteps upstairs and the sound outside) But the counter staff was very kind and invited us to drink beer. I went to the Grand Canyon the next morning. But the counter has not been open and there is no self-check-out, so I have to leave the room card in the room and leave a message to the housekeeping staff to assist in check-out."

Very Good
GGuest UserIt's also a small local shop under the name of a big-name hotel chain. The location is not bad. It's not far from several tourist attractions and trails, and dining is very convenient nearby. The room is not big. There is a terrace on the first floor, which is only half a square meter, connected to the outside and neighbors. It's not exclusively for Chinese as Ctrip boasted. I guess the Chinese make a lot of noise, so they only give rooms on the first floor. Several hotels booked through Ctrip were assigned to the first floor or to relatively poor rooms. I don't know if it's because Chinese have a bad reputation and are not liked. I hope Chinese people will behave according to local customs and behavioral norms when they go out.
AAnonymous UserThe hotel located inside the grand canyon national park, which is very convenience, there is shuttle bus which can take us to the visitor centre and viewpoint if you are not driving by yourself.
邹邹It's more convenient to stay here to play with snow in Friegerstaf. The hotel does not provide breakfast, free parking, tourist towns, and the price difference between the peak and low seasons is quite large. The peak season is more than double.
GGuest UserLet me begin by making the readers aware that the Grand Canyon Plaza Hotel is more of a motel than a hotel. Entrance to all the rooms including the elevator is via the outside. It's not like your typical hotel where you enter a lobby and proceed to your room or the elevators. When entering the GCPH to check in the lobby seemed very clean but dated. The staff was extremely friendly. When we first entered our assigned room, it smelled of smoke masked by air freshener. We proceeded back to the lobby to complain and asked for another room. The second room was acceptable, however, the room was small, dark and very dated. We had breakfast the next morning in their restaurant off of the lobby and the food and service was good. If you are looking for a place to stay that is close to the park entrance but lacks updated features and charm, then this would be an acceptable place to stay at.

NNanpiaobeiboOutside the window, it was still nothing but vast, endless mountains. So much for a 'lake view' hotel – where was the lake? However, it was truly a soul-stirring experience! The hotel room was spacious, the bathroom was bright and airy, and the linens were clean and fresh.
GGuest UserThe location of the hotel is very good, you can see Lake Powell next to it, and there should be a boat rental service. However, the door to the outside on the first floor cannot be locked. I don't know if it is the reason for the room or the hotel design, or pay attention.
P.S. Hotel room card is very exquisite! You can tell the front desk to stay
AAnthonyNice hotel in town centre with lovely quiet garden. Friendly staff, big well equippef room, great breakfast. Only negative was lots of noise from rooms above.
WWong452The front desk was very friendly and considerate so that I don’t have to get out of the hotel to get my car details for registration in a freezing night when checking in. Coffee was provided in the room as well as at the lobby in the morning.
Bed was comfortable, TV channels were ok. Bath towel a bit worn out but that is fine for me. Basic amenities in the room which is fine as well for one night stay.
I like the location that I could get a quick bite easily and just off the freeway. About an hour drive from Grand Canyon after the sunset which was not too far. I enjoyed the night there. :)
GGuest UserSmall and simple hotel, bathroom is so small that the toilet blocks half of the shower entrance. not smoker friendly. “Designated smoking area” is in the parking lot, no shade, nowhere to sit. Trash cans overflowing
GGuest UserThis is the most satisfying hotel for our budget trip in the United States. It is very cost-effective and safe. The hotel is located on the edge of a tourist town. It is away from the crowds but not far from shopping. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful forests and there are no other buildings. It is quiet and comfortable. , the room was clean and tidy. I liked it so much that we renewed it for one day. If we were not in a hurry, I would stay here for a month. It is much more cost-effective than accommodation in scenic spots.
