2-Star Hotels in Osaka Prefecture, Japan

There are 3 people in our group, and the hotel has rooms with 3 separate beds available. The facilities and cleanliness are good, and it’s close to the train station and convenience stores. The only issue is that there is only one women’s restroom, so you may have to wait during peak hours.

It's not far from both the subway and JR stations. The room isn't big, but it's perfectly adequate for one person. I'd consider staying here again if I come to Osaka in the future :)

Right next to Shin-Imamiya subway station, so getting around is incredibly convenient. The front desk staff rotate, with two people on duty at a time, including locals, Chinese, Koreans, and Indians. There's a women's shower on the 4th floor, men's showers on the 6th, and a men's bathhouse and microwave on the 10th. Downstairs, there are convenience stores, pharmacies, and places to eat nearby. The room was super small, but quite clean, and they provided towels and plastic slippers. Because it's close to the train tracks, there's a bit of noise. Plus, there's some noise from motorbikes speeding by. I stayed for 3 days, and there was hardly any noise from other guests.

This hotel is in a great location, very close to Shin-Imamiya Station, which makes getting around super convenient. The room was clean and tidy, and it even had air conditioning and a fridge, making for a very comfortable stay. The front desk staff were exceptionally nice and patiently explained everything I needed to know.

I had a truly fantastic stay! The women's bathroom on the first floor has everything you could need, and the cotton swabs were especially useful. Getting water and ice was super convenient, and the washing machine and dryer were easy to use. The hotel staff (an older gentleman and woman) were also very prompt with cleaning; the bathroom sinks were always spotless. When I left for my bus at 6 AM, I already saw a gentleman cleaning the public areas. The Nankai Rapid Express is right next door, so getting to the airport in the morning was a breeze – you just step out and hop on the airport train. The Nankai Rapid Express is incredibly convenient. The hotel is also near Dobutsuen-mae Station, which makes getting around very easy. Even after a tiring evening exploring Namba, walking back to the hotel (about 2km) felt quick. As a solo female traveler to Japan, staying here felt very convenient and safe. I noticed some people exaggerating about this area being a 'poor' neighborhood, but the Japanese streets are very clean, and the hotel opens right onto a busy main road with plenty of people coming and going, so there's absolutely nothing to worry about. Some of the reviews I read earlier were really alarmist. If you're on a budget, staying here in a small room by yourself is incredibly comfortable! If I get the chance, I'll definitely come back. If you walk uphill from the hotel to the main intersection, there's a supermarket in the basement of a shopping mall that offers 50% off groceries in the evening – very affordable and delicious, great value for money! I highly recommend checking that out. Kura Sushi and Sushiro in Japan are also delicious 😋. The hotel is conveniently located right next to the Shin-Imamiya South Gate exit!

The place is really awesome. Super convenient as its right in the heart of do to ori and only 3 mins from the station. Very easy to move around and there's a few 7 eleven, family mart, mcdonald's nearby. GU and uniqlo is also nearby for shopping. Rooms are very spacious and decently clean. Tried the insen twice as well and it's quite the experience.

This is my 2nd time stay here, but 1st time booking via trip. Com, I stayed for like 5 nights last April 2026, it was all good, everything was clean from the toilet and capsule, you have enough space, you can also eat in the common area lobby, theres a free drinking water in the reception, theres a lawson near crossing and a famous ramen shop 2 blocks away even have lines at midnight haha, near to don quijote, leave luggage after checkout is free, thank you arigato acrooo til next time, so near to dotonbori arc and famous glico man sign

This is my go-to hotel whenever I visit Osaka. The staff are incredibly friendly and I feel very safe here! Even as a solo female traveler, I've never encountered any issues. It's located just a short distance off the main road, so it's quite safe. Don't let some reviews scare you off! I've already decided to stay here again on my next trip to Osaka! This hotel offers incredible value for money, a truly pleasant surprise! The hotel itself is quite new and not too far from the subway station. Being located at Honmachi Station, you can even walk to Shinsaibashi, and Umeda is also very close, making it convenient to get anywhere without being too noisy. Although the room isn't huge, it's well-equipped, clean, and the bed is comfortable. My room was on the 29th floor; when I opened the curtains, there was plenty of natural light, and absolutely no street noise. Downstairs, there's a laundry room with washer-dryer combos, and complimentary toothbrushes are available for self-service. Plus, right next to the front desk downstairs is a Lawson convenience store, so if you need to grab anything small, it's super convenient. There are also plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Perhaps the only minor drawback is that the water temperature in the bathroom wasn't quite hot enough.
