4-Star Hotels in Shimane Prefecture, Japan

The large public bath was very comfortable. Although the facilities are a bit old, the overall atmosphere was quiet and pleasant. The garden view was beautiful during the snowfall. However, the staff's service was a bit lukewarm, lacking the attentive attitude one would expect from a hot spring hotel. I hope this can be improved.

The room has a courtyard and open-air private soup, large in size, complete equipment, clean and very comfortable. The hot spring has two public soups, five private soups, plus two private soups in the room, the light hot springs are full of fun, but unfortunately the hot springs are circular filtered, and the chlorine gas tastes a bit heavy. The meal was bad, and the waiter didn't speak English or Chinese, the translator was not sensitive, and the communication when ordering was a complete disaster.

The hotel is in a good location, very close to Ichibata Railway Shinjiko Onsen Station, only two or three minutes' walk away. It is very convenient to take the Ichibata Railway to Izumo Taisha Shrine. The hotel rooms are large, clean and tidy. The buffet breakfast and dinner are very good, including seafood bowls. The hot springs are also good and the baths are very comfortable.

I was driving myself, so I'm not sure about other public transportation options. The service at check-in was excellent. Being from Hong Kong, I specifically requested a ********* staff member to serve me during meals. They were incredibly attentive, explaining each dish meticulously. On another day at breakfast, this same ********* staff member also arranged for friends and family staying in different rooms to sit together. As for the hot springs, there were different areas and types to choose from. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay and would definitely come again.

very nice! There is a Family Mart nearby and it is a short walk to Izumo Taisha Shrine and the Izumo Historical Museum! The receptionist was very nice. Dinner and breakfast were all buffets. They were delicious. The hot springs were very comfortable. However, there were too many people and I didn’t have the chance to soak in a private hot spring. There were also free ramen and kimono rentals. It was a good choice to go to Izumo Taisha Shrine~ It’s close to the Izumo tram station. It’s a little far away from the main shrine but the road is quite easy to walk!

A great hot spring hotel, right next to Izumo Taisha Shrine. There are many restaurants around, but they are all closed at night. The hotel's courtyard is exquisite, the hot springs are average, and the food is average. The best thing is the location and courtyard. It is an old building and the service is good.

It was a very beautiful and well-equipped inn! ⭐︎ It was a calm atmosphere that I wanted to stay longer, so I was disappointed that I could only stay for one night 〜!
