We had such a warm and memorable stay as a mum travelling with my adult daughter, all thanks to our wonderful host, Mr Doldam and his lovely wife, Sue. Communication was so easy as they speak English well, and they thoughtfully shared helpful tips on places to visit around Jeju, which made our trip even more enjoyable. We accidentally stayed out past 9pm and missed our bus, and our host kindly came to pick us up from the village stop about 10 minutes away—something we truly appreciated. They also helped send us off to the bus stop for our airport transfer, making everything feel smooth and well taken care of. Breakfast was a real treat too—simple and wholesome, especially the homemade bread and tangerine jam 🍊 It truly felt like being welcomed into a home, not just a place to stay. Thank you!

Все просто отлично. Просторный номер, чисто, тишина вокруг полная. Дэниел говорит по-английски, все подробно рассказал, всегда с удовольствием болтали с ним, если пересекались. С парковкой рядом проблем нет. По территории приятно просто прогуляться, а вечером насладиться закатом на балконе. Или арендовать мангал и самому пожарить мясо. Есть бассейн, но без подогрева. В 10 минутах пешком есть CU, с необходимым минимумом продуктов/напитков. Чего не хватало - простой террасной мебели на балконе. Расположение удобно только при наличии автомобиля (хотя это в принципе обязательная опция для острова, если хотите посетить разные места). Спасибо Дену и его супруге за беззаботную неделю отпуска на Чеджу!

I traveled to Jeju alone, and staying at Mido was probably the best choice I made. The receptionist was very friendly, greeting me in Vietnamese upon arrival. Being able to communicate in English and Japanese made my stay truly enjoyable. The hotel's local map was also incredibly helpful in finding places to visit and restaurants. I will definitely return.

The women's dorm was nice! 4 bunk beds. The ladder for the top bunk was stable. Close to the bus stop and the seongsan port. Working AC, clean private bathroom, clean comfy beds, and the lady was very nice. Will definitely stay here again. Thank you!

The hostess is an incredibly kind woman. The room was spotlessly clean, as were the common areas. But the very best thing was breakfast each morning. It was varied, hot, and prepared with love. The fried egg was perfectly cooked on the outside and runny on the inside. And every morning, just before 8 a.m., she knocked on the door and gently announced that breakfast was ready. I truly felt like I was staying with my grandparents. Thank you so much!

Generally pleasant stay, glad to have a simple kitchen in the balcony though microwave is outside the room. Staff were responsive on whatsapp and helped my queries about laundry and drying rack I liked the location being quieter, but still close enough to the Sunrise Peak area and key bus stops. P.S.: If you're taking bus, try to take 101 instead of 111 as the 101 bus stop is way closer!

Compared to the hustle and bustle of the city, this place offers a sense of tranquility. The hotel staff were friendly, the surroundings were simple and peaceful, and morning strolls nearby were delightful. • Highlights of My Stay: • Excellent Location: Within walking distance to nearby restaurants and cafes, and just a 10-minute drive from Aqua Planet Aquarium and Seopjikoji. • Cleanliness: Although the building isn't brand new, the room was spotless, and the bed provided good support, ensuring a sound sleep. • Convenient Parking: Plenty of parking spaces right at the entrance, so no worries about finding a spot if you're driving. • Summary: This hotel is ideal for travelers who prioritize scenic views and convenient transportation over luxurious decor. I highly recommend booking an ”Ocean View” room; that window view will definitely enhance your travel experience.

Location: A newly opened hotel that is only 2 months old. Very near to the bus stop (same side as buses coming from Seogwipo, just walk right after alight and turn left at the first corner - less than 200m total distance). Seongsan Ilchulbong is another 200m walk away, great if you want to wake up early for a sunrise hike. Seven -11 is just opposite the bus stop. Amenities: Clean hotel with a small pantry at the lobby where you can make coffee, get hot water and new towels. Staff: Owner, Heewon is a lovely lady. I was locked out of my room late at night and she came to my rescue after calling the number left at the reception door.

This hostel is nearby to the main attraction of Seongsan Ilchulbong. My parents and I have our own cozy room although the room is a bit dated. You can walk to the restaurant nearby and plenty of choices from western to korean food. One good thing is check-in and check-out are all self-served which made it easy.

In the mornings, the air conditioning doesn't work in the rooms, but it's blasting in the common areas. This creates a great opportunity to meet different people. I really liked it. Since I enjoy lounging around, if the AC had been on in the room, I probably wouldn't have had the chance to meet anyone. Plus, they offer a variety of programs that enrich your Jeju experience! If you speak Korean well, you can have an even deeper experience, but thanks to the English-speaking hosts, it should be fine! Being a wooden house right by the sea, it definitely has its pros and cons. I'd recommend it to solo travelers, and if you value connecting with different people and having unique experiences, I think you'll find the slight inconveniences are outweighed by the many positives! There are downsides, so choose carefully. However, it offers great value for money, so I'd still recommend this guesthouse!
