Very satisfied! The location is convenient, right in the city center, just three bus stops from Kanazawa Station. There's a hot spring on the top floor where you can relax every evening. Downstairs, there's a FamilyMart and a 7-Eleven. The biggest surprise was the breakfast, with two options to choose from. You can either go to the nearby Omicho Market or have breakfast on the first floor of the hotel. Since I only stayed for two days, I chose one option each day. At the seafood market, you can pick between two restaurants: one serving seafood bowls and the other offering blackthroat seaperch kamameshi. I chose the latter, and it was absolutely delicious. On the second day, I had breakfast on the first floor of the hotel, where there was a wide variety of choices, and I could assemble my own beautiful breakfast set using different containers!

The hotel service for our extended stay was fantastic, absolutely no complaints there. The only minor drawback was their housekeeping policy for consecutive nights. They only clean the room once every five or six days. On other days, they just replenish the toiletries. If you require more frequent cleaning, it seems to cost an additional 1500 Yen. You might want to check out picture three.

The hotel is conveniently located close to Kanazawa Castle Park and Kenrokuen Garden. The front desk offers free luggage storage, which is a great plus. The hotel itself is new with excellent facilities, and getting around is very easy. Kanazawa Station is also just about a 15-minute walk away.

For a trip to Kanazawa, I highly recommend Hotel Forza! Its location is incredibly convenient – directly across from JR Kanazawa Station, truly a ”right-outside-the-door” experience. You don't even need an umbrella if it rains; just cross the street and you're there, saving a ton on transportation costs! Beyond the unbeatable location, the hotel itself is excellent: the lobby has a great design, the rooms are spacious and clean, and the staff are friendly. The biggest bonus is their large, clean public bath. After exploring Kenrokuen Garden or the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, coming back for a soak instantly rejuvenates you! For a Kanazawa trip where you want to maximize your time, this place is absolutely the perfect base.

I originally planned to stay for three nights and was very satisfied with my stay. However, due to unexpected circumstances, I asked the front desk around 3 a.m. on the last night to extend my stay by one more night. Since I made the request directly at the front desk (not through a third-party site), I believed it would be handled as a simple extension. The staff accepted payment, but only after that told me I would need to change rooms. I was informed that I could speak with the front desk again in the morning to arrange the room change. When I went to the front desk around 9 a.m., I was told there were no rooms available and that I would need to wait until 3 p.m. to check in again. I found this quite confusing — if that’s the case, it doesn’t really feel like a “stay extension.” In that case, I could have chosen another hotel. In the end, because I needed more time to pack, I was charged a 2,000 yen late fee. I understand hotel policy, but considering I had already paid to “extend” my stay, it didn’t feel very reasonable. I don’t mind paying, but the situation itself left me a bit disappointed.

Kanazawa is a treasure of a city, definitely worth a visit. **Pros and Cons** Many reviews have already covered the hotel's advantages, so I'll focus on its drawbacks. First, it's not close to the station; it's a 20-minute walk with heavy luggage, though there's a bus stop nearby with routes to some attractions. After checking out, we took a taxi directly to Kanazawa Station for our Shinkansen, which cost 900 yen. Secondly, as it's a Japanese hot spring hotel, you have to take off your shoes at the entrance and lock them in a locker. You walk barefoot in the lobby and elevators, which I found a bit unhygienic. Upon arrival, I noticed that with so many guests, I couldn't guarantee the cleanliness of the large public bath, so I decided not to use it. Overall, this is a very unique Japanese hotel, and the breakfast absolutely beats any chain hotel. If you don't mind the points above, it's a worthwhile choice!

A nicely designed hotel, from the lobby with two craft corners that will amuse kids and adults, to the well appointed rooms. We slept so well in the queen futon beds and enjoyed the public bath very much.  It’s also well located near to the Omichi Market and some good restaurants. Parking is easy, it’s Y1000 overnight, safe and convenient.

Hotel Kanazawa is a very good hotel with an amazingly diverse and tasteful breakfast, a very helpful and friendly staff that even in the middle of of the night comes to the room to help organising the room temperature  We really enjoyed our stay either lovely kimonos in the room and good and practical hotel surrounding next to the station  Very useful for Shinkansen travelling!

I used it with my girlfriend, and it was great, with no complaints and no regrets. It was the first time that I was provided with a meal for free (Yonaki Udon), and it was a refreshing experience. I would like to stay there again when I travel to Kanazawa again.

The hotel is in a great location, just a 6-minute walk from the JR station (next to Hotel Nikko). The room was spacious at 40 square meters, with two single beds and a bunk bed. The sofa also looked like it could comfortably sleep two more people. The bathroom had a dry/wet separation and was also quite large. The breakfast selection was quite rich, featuring authentic Kaga regional cuisine, though the coffee was pretty mediocre. The hotel thoughtfully provided a bottle of functional drink similar to Pocari Sweat every day, which was a nice touch – perhaps to help guests rehydrate after all the walking. There's also a public bath at the hotel, which was incredibly relaxing after a long day of walking.

DDennis 陈An excellent hotel rather near the Kanazawa Train Station. There are also some good Japanese restaurants opposite the hotel. The room is spacious, contemporary with Japanese flavour. The facilities and amenities are comprehensive like body lotion, shampoo, comb, Onsen towel scrub, and tooth brush. The Onsen is rather small but sufficient as the turnover rate is pretty high since there is not much spaceto loiter or space out. The Japanese breakfast is sumptuous and pretty good variety. If you are early for your check-in, the hotel will gladly safekeeping for you until you return for the check-in at 3pm.

淨係識去日本Choose this hotel because I stayed at his previous hotel in Beppu. . . As last time, the hotel facilities are very new and in the city center If you drive, there are three parking lots nearby, but be careful that there will be no space at night. . . Finally parked in a parking lot with no maximum parking fee and ended up paying 3800 yen-_- Speaking of the hotel, it has a massage, if you are interested you can go back to its online book a few days earlier Maybe because there were many people that day, the master was a bit in a hurry. . . So it doesn't feel as good as the last time in Beppu. . . Speaking of the room, the room has OK layout, open to luggage, and the floor is very clean. The most commendable thing is that there is finally a hotel with fast internet! ! !

Jjasmine.LIt is one of the biggest ryokans we have visited with a lot of amenities. Guests are mostly Japanese..giving a family/retirement village vibes. Our room came with breakfast and dinner plan - food was delicious and very fresh! One thing to note when booking on Trip is that there are many room types available, but the pictures shown are not accurate!! When I booked my room, the pictures showed an in-room onsen tub-lookalike..and the room descriptions seem to support it too, along with the price. However, when I arrived, the room I was given was not like the pics at all..with no private tub/onsen in the room. We really wanted a private onsen to end our trip on a high, but we were left disappointed. Could not help but feel slightly cheated. We wanted to pay for an upgrade,to get one with in-room onsen but were told all were fully booked.:( so be careful when booking your desired room type.

MMike IgWe had a mixed experience at this hotel in Kanazawa. The location is definitely a plus — Omicho Market is just around the corner, and it’s about a 15-minute walk to the railway station, which made getting around relatively easy. However, the room left a lot to be desired. It didn’t feel well maintained or properly cleaned. The in-room tablet didn’t work at all, and some parts of the air conditioning unit were open, exposing dirty interior components — not something you’d expect in a Japanese hotel. The onsen was a nice feature, but often too crowded. There were three washing machines available for guests, but they were constantly in use, even late at night or early in the morning, which made doing laundry very difficult. Staff were okay, but not particularly warm or polite by Japanese standards. Overall, it was a passable stay, but we wouldn’t choose this hotel again.
