Booked online for family to see thunder on Ohio, front desk lady checks me im then asks how many adults I say 2. She says other guests name I say Adrian. She says ”where is he!” I say well she's disabled so she's waiting in my car. This woman starts screaming furiously ” if he disabled then how will he get up stairs!” I calmly said calm down I'll just help her up the stairs. I repeatedly said please just let me go get her if you need her While she says stay right there! Every time I looked outside she keeps screaming no! You stay right there! She gets on her phone says” I have security check your car for him where is he!” By now other guests gathered to laugh at me getting yelled at by her while her ”security” looked more like her husband, wandered through the parking lot looking for a man with my wife's name evidently. She was just too irate to communicate with. I finally said look please just refund me. She prints a refund points to the door yelling get out! While other guests laughed. I walk past her ”security” mugging me all menacingly to my wife and tried to explain why we had to leave. We were well dressed in a new car, well behaved. It was appauling. It all but ruined our very expensive trip to thunder. Wife was very upset. The extended stay was like heaven for a few bucks more.

We stayed at this hotel several times in the past and had a great experience however, this time was not at all! Prior to our arrival I asked the front desk to put some roses in our room since it was our anniversary which they did for me. When we arrived I was surprised to find that that the hotel was under renovations since I was not advised of that when booking the room. the parking was horrible, the front desk/lobby was dirty and there was one elevator working so, it took us 15 minutes just to get to our room. Don't count on breakfast either. We did get lucky and our room was renovated and nice. It was loud due to the renovations. the noise started fairly early in the morning which sucked because, we were there to relax. Despite all of that when we checked out and were heading towards home my wife realized that she left her earrings on the nightstand. I called the hotel and explained that she left her earrings could you please go tot the room and get them. The front desk clerk responded by saying that they were not allowed to go into the rooms. Now we all know that's not true because they went into my room to put the flowers on the table. They directed me to a website to fill out a lost and found report....I mean I didn't leave a sock there it was a $500.00 set of earrings. Anyway, filled out the report and a couple of days later I received an email stating that no items were found. I called the manager and left several messages. Didn't get a call back. I finally got lucky and caught him there and I explained to him what happened. He stated that he would look into the issue and call me back...never did. i called Choice Hotels and filed three complaints and still have not gotten a call back. So, today I called Newport Police Department and filed a theft report. This hotel is not worth the $420.00 I spent for two nights and please don't leave anything at the hotel because, they will tell you it's not there.

The location is very good, very close to the attractions, the staff are kind and friendly, and you can park for free.

Local cheap hotels, normal motel level, Days is generally better. Breakfast has free coffee, cookies, and a banana. Bananas are the highlight of the Days I have stayed in. The overall service attitude is good, next to a highway, but not noisy, adjacent to Marriott. Walking around, it is relatively open, and there are many places to eat. There are many choices within 10-20 minutes by car, and the quality is good. There are quite a lot of children playing in the swimming pool. In summer, on weekends, families live more

Stopped here on our way home from vacation. The front desk person was overwhelmed as she was trying to answer the phones and check people in. She was very nice but overworked. I was very surprised to find out that I had to put up a $100 deposit in addition to the room charge. Not a great way to start. The hotel has a second floor but no elevator. We had to lug all of our stuff including our pet up the stairs. The room was clean and the air was on which was nice. The clock/charging port by the bed did not work, the shower drain would not stay open, the exhaust fan did not work and the water was hard to turn off so it would not drip. Several patches to the wall were obvious and were not well done. The bed was comfortable and the internet worked well. I did notice some people who seemed to be making this place their residence. I saw a beat up charcoal grill near the pool area. Also all people staying in the rooms had to be identified and all visitors had to be registered before coming to your room. It seems like they have had some problems in the past which prompted this policy which I had never had happen before. There is a Cracker Barrel nearby to eat at. There are also several gas stations nearby. It is an alright place to crash for a night with a pet.

From the convenient quiet location to the hot breakfast to the accommodations, everything was perfect! The bed was very comfortable, the room was very spacious, and it was quiet. The breakfast was hot and fresh and was restocked continually. The staff, especially Dylan, was knowledgeable and very helpful. He answered all of our questions about the best places to eat and local attractions. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. We would definitely stay there again when in that area!

Stayed for a Friday and Saturday night. The location of this hotel makes it desirable. It is super close to the Levee, the aquarium, great dining and highway access. The front desk folks need to learn to be nice. If they are unhappy with their job; they should not be in the customer service industry. We had several negative run ins with night time front desk employees that were rude, not helpful and just angry. Simple request for more pillows was met with a response of “NO”. Trying to charge snack bar treats to our room was met with the response “again”. Now to be fair, the room was great; big and clean. The food for breakfast was a nice spread and everything was fresh. Sadly, I will not stay at this hotel again because there are many choices of hotels and if you can’t just be friendly and pleasant; you do not deserve my business.

Budget-Friendly Airport Hotel. I stayed in this Best Western SureStay while in the Louisville area for business. This hotel is located near the expo center and the airport and is close to highways and restaurants. Check-in was a breeze as there was no significant lineup when I checked in. They do not have a digital key, so you will have to physically check in and check out if you need a receipt. Like many Best Westerns, you also have to ask for them to send you the bill by email. My room was a standard king room with plenty of space and hardwood floors. The room was a good size and had plenty of cabinets and storage space. I did notice a musty smell when I opened the cabinet that stores the mini-fridge. Since the fridge is inside the cabinet, it has no way to vent thus the musty smell from moisture building up inside the cabinet. The wifi signal was easy to connect to and the signal was good enough for streaming and web surfing. The rooms have a couple of USB ports, and I suggest bringing a charging block for additional devices. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. The AC/Heating unit was a little noisy but worked well. The bathrooms were clean and tidy. The fitness center has old and aging equipment. There is no water cooler or disinfectant wipes in the fitness room, or any additional workout equipment aside from some free weights. There are no benches, mats, or foam rollers just ancient cardio equipment and some free weights. I passed on the gym and just did a bodyweight WOD in my room. Breakfast is your standard two-star hotel fare with limited hot and cold choices. There are the standard pastries and some other options. Nothing stood out so I went to Dunkin for my coffee and breakfast. There is an outdoor pool that was open during my stay and many people were using it. Overall, a clean and budget-friendly airport hotel, good for a one or two-night stay.

Just here for one afternoon and night for PGA event at Valhalla golf course. Had a great check in experience once my brother and I opened the door to our room it was one king bed. Went back to the front desk explained we would like two queen beds the gentleman said we booked one king bed I said I’m sorry but could we get two queens. He looked had one available and said absolutely so he moved us no issues. Breakfast was great also. Good room, good rest, good breakfast.

Stayed here for the second time, because it was on Saturday, so the price is more expensive than usual, but the hotel is good, the swimming pool gym has, do not like to eat old American breakfast, go out to the hotel for a few minutes to have Chinese food, location Very good, there are shuttle buses from the airport for ten minutes. Overall recommendation.

The checkin was just a bit confusing since I was staying at the Fairfield. The signs pointed you to the Springhill reception and there I was greeted with professionalism and courtesy. Everything was explained to me and it was clear. I proceeded to park my car ($19 a night fee) and then go to my room. The room was clean and everything was in order. The staff at Springhill were always helpful in everything I asked about; Food, entertainment, complimentary water, etc... I actually had some issues with my car battery and needed to charge it. Derek Woodmore was SO kind and helpful in assisting me in getting an outlet to plug in my charger for the car battery (let me use the lobby outlet). He was a life saver. Then the day of checkout, I was again having issues and the manager, Jacob, was assisting me again and even offered to jump my car with his truck. Everyone there were so ACCOMMODATING! I would certainly go back again. The breakfasts were complimentary and there was enough variety to get my day started.

This hotel has the absolute best employees. They are there to help you through any issues that may occur. You are greeted with a smile and treated with respect. The rooms are nice and updated. Housekeeping stays on top of making sure you have everything to make your stay comfortable. I would refer this hotel to anyone at any time. Their breakfast is one of the best that I've seen staying in hotels. If you're coming to Louisville and looking for a great place great location with a great price pick the Baymont because it is an awesome experience. It's in a great area lots of restaurants around in walking distance and once again the staff is amazing any issues that occur they handle them professionally and don't treat you like you've had to hassle them please pick the Baymont airport for your next day on signature drive it's an amazing experience

Pre-pandemic, my family had stayed at the location multiple times for our weekend getaways to Lexington; however, we will not be staying again. I had to sign a document that there would be no smoking in the room. No problem, I’ll gladly do that. Then entering our room the smell of stale smoke would choke you. The cigarette burns on the comforter & desk were a less than nice touch. I then tried to turn on the AC, which didn’t work….the seal on the mini fridge was broken, the mold in the shower was horrible. I generally never complain, but this was tough. I went to the front desk & informed the employee the AC was not working, nor the fridge & the room had a pungent odor. Without saying a word or acknowledging the issues, I was handed a card for another room & told “I can put you in 1%#.” We promptly moved into a room where the AC worked, but that was the only issue that was resolved. Unfortunately, we just cut our trip short. It was miserable & we could only tolerate 1 night. Our clothes smelled & we just felt nasty. This used to be a decent place. Never extravagant, but clean. Also, it used to feel much safer. I was outside & a guy walked out of his room & urinated at the trash can. I hate to say the place is “sketchy,” but it’s sketchy & not the place for anyone. Much less a family. When we decided to leave, I went to turn in my key. The receptionist set up is like a jail. I’ve never been to jail, but that’s how I imagine it. Anyway, the receptionist asked about the stay & informed me I could not get a refund. I don’t have money to throw away, but I would have paid to not stay any longer. I informed her of the hideous smell & was offered some Febreeze. I do appreciate the offer, but this property needs more than air refresher. Despite the convenience, we will not be back. Ever! now like a bail bondsman. No Lobby. Just a jail type window. I was asked

We enjoyed our experience

I stayed here with my family as we brought my grandmother down for her surgery to remove her breast cancer. Check-in was awesome! The front desk staff was super friendly and checked us in quickly. The rooms were ready and clean when we arrived. There's tons of storage in these rooms and they feel pretty large. The bathroom is huge is well. A little more attention to dusting would be nice, but it definitely wasn't a big deal. Another issue was the phone did not work. I could call my uncle in the next room and could hear him (barely) but he could not hear me. Again, not a huge deal because we had room right next to each other. The biggest issue is this hotel was LOUD. The walls and floors are paper thin which meant I could hear every conversation and movement next to, above, or below me. Not to mention people in the hallway. I know it's not something the staff could fix, but it's just something to be aware of. Overall our stay was comfortable, but the noise was a real downer. If you're looking for something near UK hospital or the university itself though, this is your place.

This is a clean pet friendly hotel close to the highway. Our room was spacious and very clean. The staff we met, Joyce and Kim were so friendly and sweet. They truly made you feel welcome and at home. We will definitely stay there again if we pass through Lexington. Thank you everyone for giving us such a nice experience.

This hotel is AWESOME!! So clean, modern, and well appointed. I’m allergic to animals and was afraid I might have a reaction in the rooms but everything was super clean. Not even a slight smell of dogs! We had room 108 and it was fantastic. A little kitchenette, two super comfy beds, a mini walk in closet and an amazing bathroom!! Everything very clean. We loved our room. Very quiet even on a Saturday which was astonishing. We were attending a concert at the Manchester and this hotel was only a 7 minute drive away. So convenient!! Megan checked us in and was very polite and professional. They even have a small food shop that is accessible 24/7. We were starving after our concert so we bought some mini pizzas to zap before bed. It was so nice to have that option. There’s a coffee station free for guests. The coffee was great and it was such a nice little touch. Most appreciated!! Our stay was awesome and I recommend this place for sure. We would definitely stay again!! 5 stars!!

Good decent place for the night wish they had a breakfast or something and housekeeping that don't speak English and they need spray for bugs every now and then but I'll be back if I'm in the area and I went without TV the whole night because remote was messed up
