5-Star Hotels in Nordland, Norway

Hotel location is very good, right next to the docking harbour for cruises and there are a few car rental companies nearby. However, we arrived on a very busy day and they only had limited parking spots on a first come first served basis, so we had to park quite far away. The hotel lobby looked really grand, with coffee machines free for guests to use. Check in was quick and efficient. We quickly checked out the gym on 2nd floor, we didn't get to utilise it but the gym was very well equipped with Technogym equipment and even a squat rack! The room itself was clean and spacious, it was cloudy and rainy otherwise the view overlooking the docking port would have been fantastic. Buffet breakfast was another highlight, with lots of options and allergies / ingredients clearly labelled. Definitely try out their wide range of local cheeses, absolutely yummy!

Overall it is very good, the house is very large and independent house, the door is a bit difficult to find, the bed in a room is a bit scary to sleep at night facing the mirror, the toilet is not good
