I found the Atour Hotel Kashgar Ancient City on Xiaohongshu and stayed for one night – honestly, it was great!
The location is incredibly convenient, super close to the Ancient City entrance. After exploring, it’s just a short walk back to the hotel, no need to lug luggage around, which is perfect for lazy people like me. The room was quite clean, and since Kashgar has dry weather, the humidifier running constantly was very comfortable. The bed was just right, not too soft and not too hard – after a tiring journey, a good night's sleep here was incredibly refreshing.
The front desk staff checked me in quickly and patiently gave me directions when I asked about nearby places to eat. Overall, the service was very comfortable and not at all pushy. If you're visiting Kashgar Ancient City, staying at this place is really suitable, and it offers good value for money.

Pros: The breakfast was very generous.
Cons:
1. I'm baffled as to why the recurring issue of 'difficult parking and rude staff' in the parking lot, mentioned by so many guests, still hasn't been resolved. The parking attendants treat guests like animals, shooing them away. Even a budget hotel wouldn't have staff like this, let alone a Conrad! I paid 2000 for a night, wasn't I paying for service and comfort?
2. My parents were staying, and as they're older, I hoped the butler would be more proactive and helpful, but it still fell short of expectations. On our trips, whether in Beijing, Guizhou, Guangxi, or Sichuan, the butlers always actively offered experience options and reminded us of things to do and learn about. Only the Conrad butler was incredibly un-proactive; it was hard to tell who was the guest and who was the butler. Even worse, when the car's license plate wasn't registered for some unknown reason, we waited in the parking lot for 20 minutes before the butler finally helped register it.
3. There's no one to guide you to the sky lobby elevator or the check-in elevator. Today, my parents were checking in, and I had to video call them and guide them step-by-step. What about elderly guests without children? Are they supposed to wander around confused downstairs? If you don't have a concierge to direct guests, at least put up a clear sign! Where are your customer relations and concierge departments?
4. I've noticed that your responses to negative service reviews on Ctrip are uniformly perfunctory. I've also seen that you basically don't resolve the issues mentioned in the comments. I will be writing a letter of complaint to your headquarters. That's all.
Our last hotel on this Northern Xinjiang trip was truly satisfying. I looked it up and found out it's actually managed by a tourism company from Jiangsu, which explains why the management and facilities are a cut above the rest.
**Facilities:** The exterior looks understated, but the interior feels very comfortable. The room was spacious, the decor materials were high-quality, it had a good design aesthetic, and was well-maintained.
**Hygiene:** Clean and tidy.
**Environment:** It's across from Altay Sports Park, and our 6th-floor room had a great view of the snow-capped mountains.
**Service:** Check-in at the front desk was very quick, and they even arranged complimentary airport transfer for the next day.
**Breakfast:** There was a good variety of options, and the quality was quite good too.
Overall, it was the most comfortable hotel we stayed at during this Northern Xinjiang journey.

The hotel is conveniently located near the airport, just a 15-minute drive away, with ample parking. It has a 24-hour self-service laundry room and a gym. Check-in at the front desk was quick, and the room was clean and tidy. Customer service, especially from Xiao Yu, was excellent; they proactively contacted me to arrange my room. My flight was delayed, and the hotel even helped me with a late check-out. The driver for the airport transfer also arrived very quickly. All the services were convenient and seamless. I was very satisfied with this stay. Highly recommend!

Although the hotel isn't brand new, its management is exceptionally well-organized, meticulous, and thoughtful. The front desk staff patiently showed us several room types, helped us pick the most suitable one, and even gave us an upgrade. As we were there for our first marathon, we inquired if early breakfast would be available on race day. Upon learning this, the lobby manager promptly arranged for breakfast to be served for all race participants staying at the hotel, which was incredibly efficient. Room service was also highly efficient and incredibly prompt. Highly recommended!
A truly wonderful stay that exceeded all expectations!
We stayed in different hotels in Tashkurgan County over three days, and only Snow Crown deserves a full five-star rating!
Excellent Location:
The hotel is perfectly situated. Turn right outside and you'll be right on the Panlong Ancient Trail, the Khunjerab Pass, and the various attractions of the Wakhan Corridor.
A key point is that there's a gas station right at the door. Travelers should definitely choose a hotel close to a gas station; there are no gas stations along the way to the attractions, so be sure to fill up before setting off.
Outside the window, the wetlands and snow-capped mountains offer breathtaking views. Even at night, when there aren't any sandstorms, you can see the stars.
Attentive Service:
Of the three hotels we stayed at, only Snow Crown had the concierge take the initiative to help with our luggage from the moment we got off the bus.
The front desk staff, both Tajik men and women, spoke fluent Chinese and asked if we were traveling for pleasure or business, and recommended itineraries.
They also helped us carry our luggage to the car upon check-out and gave us a gift. Room Cleanliness:
The room was larger than expected, very clean and tidy, with no odors. Besides the oxygen machine, it also had a humidifier, which is incredibly important for mainland travelers.
The room's toiletries were all disposable Chando products, not the kind that come in refillable bottles. They were genuine and smelled great. Two face masks were also provided with the room.
The bedding was soft and comfortable, and I slept soundly. The bathroom had separate wet and dry areas, and the water pressure was strong, making for a very comfortable shower.
Full Facilities:
There was a gym and swimming pool, but I didn't have time to use them.
The laundry room was especially noteworthy, with more than double the number of machines compared to other hotels. There was also a free billiards room and karaoke.
In the evening, you could choose between Chinese food or yak hotpot, both conveniently located right outside the hotel.
The breakfast was more varied and delicious than at other hotels.
This trip was made even better by choosing this hotel. I will definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends!

I had a really good experience here. The hotel's location is excellent; even though it's in a commercial district, the room was surprisingly quiet, so I wasn't disturbed at night. Wanda Plaza is right next door, making it super convenient for dining and shopping.
Check-in at the front desk was quick, and the staff were very polite and friendly. Sara, in particular, provided exceptional service; she was always prompt in helping with any issues, which made me feel very comfortable during my stay. The room was larger than I expected, with great natural light. When you open the floor-to-ceiling windows, the room becomes very bright. The bed was comfortable, and the pillows were just the right softness. The bathroom was a wet/dry separation, so showering and using the toilet didn't interfere with each other. Hot water came on quickly and had stable temperature, making for a very pleasant shower. The toiletries had a pleasant, non-irritating scent and were quite good to use. Mineral water and tea bags were also provided in the room, showing a nice attention to detail. The room size was also quite generous.
Overall, I'm very satisfied with the hotel's location, environment, and service. The price is also reasonable, offering great value for money. Next time I visit Urumqi, I'll definitely prioritize staying here again.

Environment: The hotel is located on the riverfront, and the views from higher floors are fantastic. The area around Binhe Road is relatively open, so while not busy, it's quiet and comfortable. Park your car at the hotel and call a taxi wherever you go, which is very affordable. You don't have to find your way around or worry about parking. The hotel parking lot is clean, bright, and has plenty of space! There are also some parking spaces on the grounds.
Cleanliness: The public areas and rooms are spotlessly clean, and the beds are comfortable, large, and comfortable.
Facilities: The amenities are comprehensive, and the housekeeper is always happy to help with anything you need.
Service: The service is thoughtful and attentive, down to the last detail. Check-in and check-out are super fast, and the housekeeper even contacts you in advance!
One thing I have to say is that the air conditioning could be better.
Breakfast offers a wide variety of Chinese and Western dishes, including Chinese congee, freshly cooked noodles, Western bread, local naan, and milk tea. The ingredients are fresh, especially the freshly made wontons with three soup bases to choose from. Excellent! I have always liked InterContinental and have stayed in hotels under the same group. I was very satisfied with them all. The quality and appearance are all online. The design of the hotel in Yining this time was very thoughtful, high-end, and stylish. I checked one by one and found out that it was designed by a Hong Kong team. I liked it very much. The experience was great!
I initially booked another hotel, but when I arrived, it was far from what I expected, and there was nowhere to park. Luckily, I passed by this resplendent hotel, glittering with lights, so I canceled the other booking and switched to this one. The price was the same, which surprised me as I thought it would be expensive, but it was actually quite good. The room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable. There was plenty of parking, which was very convenient. The hotel was warm, and while the breakfast selection was a bit limited, it was still decent.

The hotel's location is excellent, with plenty of restaurants and shopping options nearby, making it incredibly convenient for getting around.
Tingting at the front desk was exceptionally helpful, checking me in quickly and even proactively offering suggestions for nearby attractions.
The room was exceptionally clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and I slept very well.
The bathroom had a well-designed wet and dry separation, plenty of hot water, and the toiletries were quite good. The breakfast selection was extensive, with both Chinese and Western options, and the food was delicious.
The value for money is outstanding; I'll definitely stay here again next time. Highly recommended!
The hotel's overall environment exudes a sense of tranquility and luxury. Upon entering the lobby, you're immediately drawn to the high ceilings and exquisite chandeliers. The lobby layout is spacious and comfortable, and the sofas in the lounge area are soft and stylish, making you want to stay forever.
The room's soundproofing is also excellent; you can't hear any noise from the hallway or other rooms.

LLizhixiaodianxiaFacilities: Although it's a tent, it has floor heating, so it's very warm at night. I feel like it's perfect for beginners who want to try camping but are worried about rough conditions. It's very friendly for camping newbies. The bathroom is a brick structure and also has floor heating, so showering isn't cold at all, and the water is nice and hot. In fact, we were so tired the first night that we just crashed and showered the next morning. Afterwards, we felt wonderfully warm and incredibly comfortable. In summer, there's air conditioning, a fan, and a humidifier. That humidifier at the hotel genuinely saved me later – heaven knows, as a Southerner, my nose bled on the first day in Kashgar from the dryness, and no amount of moisturizer or water helped.
Hygiene: It's quite clean; it feels like a newly built campsite.
Environment: It's a bit far from Taxkorgan town, but if the weather is good, you might be able to stargaze. Unfortunately, it rained the night we stayed. There's a wetland nearby, which is truly beautiful. I'll just post pictures of the tent's interior, haha.
Service: The campsite is a bit large, but I don't think walking around takes too long. Still, the hotel provides a shuttle service, with staff helping with luggage and transfers, which is great! There's also a particularly cute big fluffy chicken, hahahaha~
SSeo KHHotel room is comfortable and nice. Swimming pool and gym are good. Breakfast was fantastic, every day different food served. Hotel staffs all are friendly and answered all our questions asked, very professional. Very nice place to stay, highly recommend.

MM26166****This hotel is in a prime location in the city center, right across from Hongshan Park, a major landmark. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the service is excellent. The view is absolutely fantastic! Highly recommended! The decor has a wonderful ambiance, and the buffet breakfast is great, as are the overall environment and facilities.
Manager Wawali provided exceptional service. He made check-in a very comfortable experience. Later, when an issue arose, he was very sincere and even sent a gift box as an apology. He was always patient and helpful with any questions throughout my stay, and incredibly friendly. 👍👍 His attitude was superb. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends if I have the chance. Five stars!
NNingning mumThe room is big enough, the living room has plenty of room for an extra bed, and the view from the upper floors is good. The elevators are well arranged, and there is no long waiting time on the upper floors. The overall service is good, and robots deliver takeaways when ordered. The Chinese restaurant is OK, especially the green leafy vegetables are better than those fried in other restaurants. When checking out, I asked for a half-hour extension, which was readily agreed.
GGuest UserAfter dinner, I took a taxi back and accidentally saw some people in uniforms welcoming me at the door. I looked carefully and found that it was the designated reception point. The whole building feels like a comprehensive mall, and accommodation is only part of it. There is a sales point for Nanda Dairy on the first floor, which is open from 8 am to 10 pm, which is very convenient for guests. There is a huge wall of luggage lockers on the first floor, which is shocking. Unfortunately, I felt that they were not staffed enough at the front desk several times, and the waiting time was relatively long, but it was not easy to maintain a good service attitude. To be fair, the hotel hardware and supplies are really good. The decoration is a more old-fashioned hotel, with wooden cabinets, a little smell, and the facilities may not be particularly new, but the overall feeling is OK. The shampoo and shower gel are not a very expensive brand, but they are comfortable to use. The shower gel seems to be from pmpm, and the hair dryer is also a new basic model. The slippers are particularly thick and of good quality, surpassing many high-priced hotels. I will consider staying here next time I come to Kashgar. I stayed in an expensive hotel next to the ancient city for one night and felt that I didn’t win many points except for the geographical location.
GGuest UserAlthough it's an established hotel, it has a great location, very close to the Grand Bazaar and within walking distance of nearby restaurants. The front desk lady, Ms. Aiman, is beautiful and friendly! 🌹I love her so much! 🌹She upgraded me to a junior suite, which was quiet, safe, and comfortable. It was amazing! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 The housekeeper was a senior employee and a beautiful young woman, equally attentive and enthusiastic. This made my stay feel safe and secure during this trip, and it was a very pleasant stay! The hotel has a very high occupancy rate, and it would be even better if the breakfast menu featured more Xinjiang specialties. Overall, it's very good! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
LLichonlyMy stay at the Hilton Hemu was absolutely fantastic and exceeded all expectations! The hotel is located right next to the Jikepulin International Ski Resort, just a hundred meters walk to the West Area Service Hall and Chairlift No. 3. There are also shuttle buses connecting the east and west sections of the ski resort, making it incredibly convenient for skiers – ski enthusiasts will truly love it! The guest rooms feature a warm, log-cabin inspired design with panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows. Opening the window reveals stunning views of snow-capped mountains, instantly dispelling the winter chill upon entering. Amenities like independent ski storage and a bathtub are all available, showing great attention to detail. The Xinjiang-style meals at the hotel are very authentic; the grilled lamb skewers and braised lamb are incredibly flavorful, and the local specialty black mushrooms are super delicious. It's perfect for replenishing energy after skiing or for an immersive experience of Northern Xinjiang flavors. The staff were warm and attentive; the concierge’s ski storage and travel guidance were particularly thoughtful. The entire experience was 100% satisfying. Front desk agent Mia provided enthusiastic service. In the snowy wonderland of Hemu, finding a hotel that combines convenient ski facilities, breathtaking natural scenery, and warm service like this truly made for a wonderfully restorative travel experience. Highly recommended!
GGuest UserFrom the moment we booked, we felt the butler's attentiveness, with a private car providing transportation. The courtyard we stayed in perfectly matched all our expectations of southern Xinjiang's charm—rustic yet exquisite. Our two couples shared a room, offering both privacy and enough space for us to enjoy tea and conversation. Fresh fruit and a goodnight stew were provided daily. The real surprises came from the butlers, Semi and Xiaoru. Special praise goes to Semi and Xiaoru for their unconventional service; they treated us like old friends. Semi, with his sunny smile and extensive local knowledge, guided us away from the tourist crowds, leading us into hidden gems known only to locals. Xiaoru, a typical Uyghur beauty, with her generous friendliness, planned our route, recommended restaurants, and even helped us buy tickets for the shows we wanted to see at a cheaper price than online. They also helped us apply for border permits for our upcoming trip to Tashkurgan… and many more. What touched us most was that, due to time constraints, we hadn't had time to pick up the pre-ordered baked buns—we'd even forgotten about them! (The tomato and chili buns were truly delicious!) When we returned, we found they had already retrieved them for us. This ”partner-like” service made my trip to Kashgar incredibly warm and welcoming. So, if anyone sees this review, don't hesitate, you won't regret choosing this one. There are just so many things to praise, you can discover them for yourself, I won't go into too much detail 👍 (Attached is a group photo, best wishes!)
