The hotel boasts an excellent location, surrounded by numerous shopping malls and popular tourist attractions. Baotu Spring, Daming Lake, Baihua Island, Kuanhouli, and Jiefang Pavilion are all within walking distance. For dining and shopping, Henglong Plaza, Shimao Plaza, and Guihe Shopping Centre are also conveniently close. It was a real time and effort saver during our holiday trip. Overall, the environment and service were quite good. Parking was a bit tight during the holiday season, but that's understandable. The room was clean and tidy, a comfortable size, and the temperature was just right, ensuring a good night's sleep. The front desk staff were professional and efficient, and Quality Control Manager Connie provided warm and thoughtful service. My family and I had a great overall experience. If we visit Jinan again, we'll definitely choose this hotel. InterContinental gets our support!

I have to say, this really doesn't live up to the Sheraton brand. First, during the May Day holiday when there's a huge influx of people, there were only two staff members at the front desk checking people in. They only opened a third station after seeing a long queue forming. What's more, the front desk staff's efficiency and problem-solving skills were quite concerning. Here's why: When I booked the room in advance, I specifically requested a room on the same floor as my parents. Following the front desk's instructions, I cancelled my original standard twin room and rebooked an executive floor twin room. Executive floor rooms are more expensive than standard ones. At the time, over the phone, they confirmed there were rooms available on the same floor, and the front desk agent assured me they had noted my request to be on the same floor, and I just needed to remind the check-in staff. However, on the day of check-in, the front desk first told me there were no rooms on the same floor. Even though they saw the note, for some unknown reason, the room hadn't been reserved in advance. I was willing to compromise, understanding that it was a busy holiday. But then, the front desk told me they would have to downgrade my room, taking me off the executive floor. This is the first time I've ever heard of a hotel downgrading a customer's room when they haven't met the customer's initial request – especially since executive floor rooms are more expensive! This is completely out of line with the service standards expected of a star-rated hotel and made for a very poor experience. With Zibo becoming more popular, more and more customers are visiting. I hope the service standards can keep up with the demand.

I specifically came to see Xue Zhiqian's concert. I took a taxi to the hotel after getting off the high-speed train at 2 PM. At 2:45 PM, after checking in at the front desk, I was told the room wasn't ready yet, waiting for inspection, and would be ready after that. They asked if I had any plans afterward, and I said yes. I forgot the exact words, but the gist was that I could go about my business and they would call me. I checked and the hotel's check-in time was 3 PM, so I figured I'd just sit on the sofa for a bit, it would be soon. But by 3:15 PM, there was still no news. I went to the front desk to ask, and they told me the room was still being cleaned. I was speechless. First, they said the room was waiting for inspection, then it was still being cleaned. Isn't check-out time 12 PM? Why was it still being cleaned past 3 PM, and the front desk didn't even apologize. It was only after I explained my situation, saying I was in a hurry and needed to go to the room to do my makeup and change because I had plans, that the front desk made a call to inquire. They then told me I still needed to wait 20 minutes. Although the environment and everything else are good – otherwise, I wouldn't have chosen a hotel so far from the concert venue – the initial check-in experience was indeed poor and made us feel pressed for time.

Let me start with the overall impression: the entire experience was great. Facilities: Good, no major issues. Hygiene: Excellent. I'm not a germaphobe or anything, but it felt really clean. Environment: You can directly access Wanpingkou Scenic Area through the small garden gate on the east side. It's about a 600 or 800-meter walk, even my four-year-old had no problem with it. We booked a room with a sunrise view, located on the tenth floor, slightly to the south. The sunrise view was absolutely incredible, a fantastic experience. Watching the morning sun emerge from the horizon like an egg yolk, that feeling of 'the red sun just risen, its light grand and bright' was truly overwhelming. Service: Overall, the service was very good. I particularly want to highlight the cleanliness and order maintenance in the breakfast restaurant – it was incredibly timely and well-regulated. The food selection was rich, and basically everything we ate was delicious. Especially the beef noodles, both kids unanimously agreed they were excellent. I have two minor suggestions. First, regarding some charged services. For instance, the attendant in the kids' play area told us it cost 58 RMB per hour. However, the sign outside also mentioned 108 RMB per day… Another example: when my child's clothes got dirty in the evening, I called to ask about the laundry room. The person who answered said laundry was a charged service… but didn't proactively offer further details about the price. It would be helpful to just state the charges directly 🤝. Of course, overall it was a wonderful experience. Even two days after returning home, my child still tells me, 'Daddy, that hotel we stayed at was really good!'

The hotel is located in the city center, right across the street from Suochengli, and just a short walk from Wanda Plaza. It's also very close to Yantai Mountain. During the May Day holiday, parking was difficult, but a taxi ride from the hotel was just the minimum fare. The hotel management is excellent; from the doormen to the front desk staff, everyone is polite, demonstrating the professionalism expected of a star-rated hotel. On May 2nd, it rained on the day of check-in, which disrupted our plans, so we arrived early to see if we could check in. The front desk staff welcomed us warmly without any hesitation. They explained that the room was still being cleaned and that housekeeping had been notified to expedite the process, and also informed us that we could check in a little earlier, which made us feel very reassured. The breakfast was plentiful with a wide variety of options. Overall, it was a fantastic experience.

Overall, a very pleasant stay! Mindy from Guest Relations reached out beforehand to inquire about my room preferences and helped arrange everything, also explaining the executive club benefits. The location is excellent; just across Quancheng Square is Henglong Plaza (very convenient for dining and shopping), and it's close to other attractions. Parking is easy and plentiful. The stay was quite comfortable. I accidentally left a small bag at the hotel when I checked out, but thankfully, after contacting Zora at the service center, it was quickly found and mailed back to me. Overall, a fantastic experience.

I specifically chose a hotel with excellent environment and service for this trip. As soon as we walked in, they upgraded our room type, which was incredibly surprising and amazing! The duty manager was very responsible and easy to reach via WeChat for any questions; his service attitude was also fantastic!! This really boosted my impression of the hotel! The front desk also gave us a complimentary room upgrade – the service truly exceeded the price! Incredible value for money! And the welcome fruit from the hotel was delicious and fresh. It's very close to Yizhouli Commercial Street, just a short walk downstairs. On a nice day, I feel like I could sit in the park downstairs all afternoon. The lobby is also very spacious and not cramped at all. The hygiene was exceptional. The cleaning ladies spoke Mandarin and even folded our clothes. Coming back to a tidy room after leaving it messy always puts me in a better mood. The hot water was definitely plentiful, making for a very comfortable bath at night. The bed was huge, and the environment was great. The breakfast had a wide variety and was quite good. Upon checkout, they even gave us a souvenir, helped us scan the parking code, and escorted us all the way to the parking lot – full of thoughtful details.

The room has a large area, is clean and tidy, and the check-in process is fast and convenient. Easy to communicate in English as a foreigner and staff is very friendly and helpful. The front desk staff are enthusiastic and smiling, especially Sherry and Ivy, who felt warm in a foreign land and helped a lot during their stay. It was a great check-in experience!

This experience was truly hard to describe. The hotel clearly stated they could provide certain services, but none of them were actually delivered. When I inquired, I was told it was due to high occupancy during the May Day holiday and asked for understanding. Then, it was the same old story of an 'upgrade' to solve the problem. There's a huge disconnect between the front desk management and the actual provision of services… But the most ridiculous thing was on the first day, the hotel provided 2 bottles of shower gel and 1 bottle of conditioner in the bathroom. Where was the shampoo?? While everything else might deserve 5 stars, I can only give the service 1 star this time. Special thanks to Hotel Account Manager Sarah and the duty manager for their follow-up efforts to make amends.

Right next to the Shangri-La, and less than a 10-minute walk to MixC shopping mall. I stayed for 4 nights. As it's a new hotel, all the facilities are brand new. The breakfast was the most pleasant surprise! There's a wide variety of dishes, especially a good selection of staple foods, and the flow of the buffet is quite well-planned. I particularly loved the 'Sa Tang' (a local soup), the jujube, and the egg, pork floss, and cheese pancake. The breakfast staff and the chefs at the hot food station were all energetic and very good-looking! Especially the chef at the noodle station – he'd always call out to let you know when your order was ready. Couldn't do without him. All in all, great location and excellent value for money! Highly recommended.

NNanchengdaweiziThe room absolutely meets five-star standards, and the hotel overall feels like home. Breakfast is incredibly rich and varied, and the location is fantastic – just a few minutes' walk to May Fourth Square, and right across the street from Qingdao's bustling MixC mall. Winni, the staff member who checked us in, had an exceptional service attitude; seeing that we had elderly family with us, she thoughtfully arranged a non-smoking room on a quiet floor. The hotel gym is also quite good. The only minor issue is that the underground parking is a bit like a maze, but the parking attendant was very kind.

GGuest UserI didn't book a hotel near the sea during the peak holiday. This hotel is a little far away, across a street, but it's still close to the beach. You can see a little bit of the sea from the upper floors, but it's mainly blocked by high-rise buildings in front. The hotel rooms are large, clean and tidy, the beds and pillows are very comfortable, and although the facilities are a little old, it's still good overall, especially the thick door of the room with good sound insulation.

GGuest UserI just booked this hotel on a whim, but my stay was a delightful surprise from start to finish. First off, the cleanliness was impeccable; every nook and cranny was spotless. I have to praise the bed and mattress—they were perfectly comfortable, not too soft and not too firm, ensuring a deep sleep all night long. The staff were consistently polite and enthusiastic, never intrusive but always responsive when needed. The breakfast offered a wide selection, and the made-to-order items tasted fantastic. The afternoon tea area was quiet and elegant. Overall, the quality, service, and value for money were all top-notch. I felt completely at ease spending my money here. Highly recommend!

ちなみI booked this hotel because I had an early morning flight from Qingdao the next day and saw reviews saying it was within walking distance. Since I was arriving around 1:30 AM, I called the hotel in advance, and the staff sent me a detailed video of the route, making it easy to find. From the Qingdao Airport departure hall (if you're arriving from out of town, take the elevator to the 4th floor departure hall after collecting your luggage), find area A for check-in. Diagonally opposite, next to the meeting point, there's a door that leads to the hotel's connecting corridor. It's less than a ten-minute walk, and the corridor was well-lit even in the middle of the night, so there's no need to worry. The Junting Hotel and Bangchen Hotel are together, with Junting being slightly further. The front desk has 24-hour service, which is great! And the staff were very welcoming. The room was quite spacious. Although it felt a bit old and not very new, and perhaps the carpet caused a slight odor, the overall cleanliness was acceptable. The bathroom sink had a bit of a strange smell, but the large space meant it didn't really affect my rest. The shower had good water pressure and the water was hot enough. Regarding the price, at over 400 yuan, the overall value for money was a bit high, but its excellent location made it acceptable.

JjrbossQingdao's Shangri-La has quite the reputation, and my one-night stay there during my trip to Qingdao was, on the whole, a good experience. The positives: Firstly, the service truly lived up to its old-school five-star standard. When checking out, Lydia at the front desk was very attentive and genuinely asked about my experience. Secondly, the breakfast at Café Yum was incredibly varied. I even got to enjoy a long-missed English breakfast. After I picked up my food, my plate and cutlery were cleared away, but the restaurant manager instantly noticed and had new cutlery brought over – that level of service awareness is commendable. Also, the overall ambiance provided great emotional value. The negatives: The hardware facilities are a bit dated. Things like smart features and the overall lighting design in the guest rooms definitely lag behind newer hotels. Plus, there were a few too many mirrors in the room, especially a slanted side cabinet that was also mirrored and faced the bed, which felt a bit uncomfortable. Overall, I would still highly recommend it.

YYanmaimochanatieThis is my first time staying in Huangdao, even though I've visited many times. The location is excellent, and the surroundings are beautiful. At night, when the lights come on, it feels like Alice's Garden. Service: All the staff were incredibly kind and helpful, always ready to answer any questions. Whether it was bringing up something I'd forgotten or coming to my room with a first-aid kit after I had a bump outside, they were always so patient and attentive. I rarely leave reviews on Ctrip, but this experience was truly a pleasant surprise.

GGuest UserThe hotel is extremely luxurious and designed beautifully. But the service is TERRİBLE. No one speaks english… there is no food available for room service. İ wanted to drink a beer and they told me to go to the supermarket. İ wanted to order room service after 20.30 they told me no english and hung up on my face. After 10 mins 2 people came to my room telling me they dont have room service, after 20.30 even though the menu said 24 hours. The next day i tried to order at 16.00 and they told me it starts at 18.30… the design and the quality of the hotel is maybe the best ive seen in my life but the service is 0/10 … no cola to drink no food to eat .. i would not reccomend if you want to spend a lot of time in it.

BBajiedesuyanchixiguaI can't believe the front desk staff upgraded us during the May Day holiday! We originally booked a king room, but they upgraded us to a sea-view suite. Since our flight isn't until 11 PM tonight, they even extended our check-out by 4-6 hours when we left this afternoon. I forgot to ask for the front desk lady's name, so sorry about that, I'll ask next time! The cleaning staff is also incredibly diligent; they tidy up our room and replenish water bottles every afternoon. The housekeeper's name is Xu Qiuling. And is Wang Shufen the supervisor? Thank you all so much for making our May Day holiday experience so wonderful and cozy!
