GGuest UserThis hotel/retreat is an incredibly special place, and I feel so grateful to have come across it in my travels, as it will hold a special place in my memory! I have a strong feeling that I will be back (possibly many times!) in the future. I cannot say enough good things about it, whether it be the beautiful architectural design of the buildings and landscaping of the property, the gorgeous cafe, the zen-like room aesthetic, the calm and nourishing atmosphere of the whole place, the incredibly kind staff, and the nourishing and delicious food (which is made with great attention and care paid to the ingredients (most of which are grown on the farm), and their healing principles according to the elements and Chinese medicine nutrition)). There are free evening healing offerings too, including sound healing, card reading, and other thing, which bring guests together to experience collectively as well, in a beautiful retreat center room. The cafe/lobby building is such a pretty and welcoming space, one could easily spend hours enjoying a conversation or reading a book, or petting one of the many adorable cats that roam the property. Even walking along the meandering path to the hotel from the main road is a beautiful experience, winding through tea fields in this magical valley at the base of steep mountains surrounding it. I have stayed at a number of hotels in China during my travels, but this place is by far my favorite of all of them, for its authentic feel and heartfelt warmth. It truly is a uniquely powerful place for healing and restoration, nestled in such a picturesque, quiet hillside of Wudang mountain!!

GGuest UserI loved saying here. The homestay is located within the scenic area. It can be hard to navigate the area if you’re coming here for the first time. I got dropped off at a station after I showed the driver the address and walked uphill for 20-30 minutes before I was able to find the homestay. I recommend getting in touch with the homestay beforehand to arrange a pickup from the bus point since buses don’t drop you all the way to the homestay. There is free service for pick up and drop off to/from the bus station. The food here was spectacular - simple and delicious. The people who work here are super considerate and welcoming. The homestay also partners with Wudang Taoist Academy which I later found out so I might be back to participate in one of the programs later on however if you are traveling to Wudang and also looking for classes in Tai Chi from well established instructors, this is definitely the place to be. The person who runs it is well-connected and can help you out with whatever you need. I was mostly communicating via WeChat which translated English-Chinese and vice versa easily. If you want to explore other areas within Wudang, you most definitely will be needing the shuttle bus. I am very satisfied with my stay and will return if I get an opportunity.

GGuest UserWhat a gem on my Wudang Mountain trip! This local guesthouse was incredibly reliable. The courtyard was quiet, comfortable, and unique, with wonderfully fresh air. Sitting in the courtyard, basking in the sun, sipping tea, and chatting was pure bliss. The host was incredibly kind and honest, not only providing reliable travel tips but also sharing Taoist tidbits and even offering us some sweet oranges from his own garden. The room was brand new and clean, the smart home appliances were convenient, and the location was fantastic—close to Yuxu Palace and the mountain gate, all within walking distance. The auntie's homemade dishes were delicious and inexpensive, and the conversations were wonderful, making my Wudang trip even more enjoyable.

The hotel has a quick check-in process and is located next to the cable car ticket office. The hotel restaurant is good and reasonably priced. There is a 10% discount for in-house guests. There are many dishes, and three dishes are enough for three people. The dishes taste good. The breakfast is buffet style with a rich variety of dishes, including several stir-fried dishes, noodles and rice noodles with soup or mixed dishes. The restaurant is next to the entrance to the cable car station. Meals start at 7 o'clock, and the cable car also starts at 7 o'clock. It would be better if the meal could start earlier. The hotel service is good, and the restaurant waiters are also enthusiastic in introducing the dishes and the taste. Compared with the local service industry, it is indeed higher. GGuest UserMy friend and I searched for this guesthouse online while visiting Wudang Mountain. Initially, we thought guesthouses wouldn't be very clean, but after navigating to the hotel, we were pleasantly surprised upon entering the courtyard. There was a terrace outside the hotel, where we ate dinner that evening. The receptionist was very helpful throughout the check-in process, assisting me with putting away my luggage, going downstairs to plan our next day's itinerary, and taking the elevator to the room. The room was indeed excellent – ​​clean and tidy, with a separate shower and toilet seat, and even a toilet seat cover and ladder knife. We ate their fish, free-range chicken, and stir-fried wild vegetables with eggs; the ingredients were fresh and the taste was indeed delicious! The air conditioning was great at night, and the bed was incredibly comfortable – a pleasant surprise! I highly recommend it to my friends; you won't regret it! I'll definitely stay here again next time. Dangui Guesthouse has a homey feel to it.

This is my third trip to Wudang Mountain, and I've stayed at different hotels each time! But I'll definitely stay at this hotel again next time! It's right outside the pedestrian street! The hotel has parking; it's only three bus stops from the entrance to the Wudang Mountain Visitor Center, so there's no need to drive! The bus stop is a three-minute walk from the hotel, making it very convenient! There are washing machines and a drying area for laundry; if you forget to hang your clothes out to dry, the staff will even help you – so thoughtful! Eating options are very convenient near the hotel! Luckin Coffee is very close; I went for an Americano every morning during my two nights there!

MMeizukasunliangFacilities: Last time I stayed in Building 2, the rooms were newer and the facilities were decent and quite modern. This time I stayed in the main building, which was much older. Although the view was nice, the lighting was dim, and the bathroom always looked dirty. Environment: Nice view, excellent location. Facilities: Because it's the off-season, breakfast is very basic.
