GGuest UserThis hotel/retreat is an incredibly special place, and I feel so grateful to have come across it in my travels, as it will hold a special place in my memory! I have a strong feeling that I will be back (possibly many times!) in the future. I cannot say enough good things about it, whether it be the beautiful architectural design of the buildings and landscaping of the property, the gorgeous cafe, the zen-like room aesthetic, the calm and nourishing atmosphere of the whole place, the incredibly kind staff, and the nourishing and delicious food (which is made with great attention and care paid to the ingredients (most of which are grown on the farm), and their healing principles according to the elements and Chinese medicine nutrition)). There are free evening healing offerings too, including sound healing, card reading, and other thing, which bring guests together to experience collectively as well, in a beautiful retreat center room. The cafe/lobby building is such a pretty and welcoming space, one could easily spend hours enjoying a conversation or reading a book, or petting one of the many adorable cats that roam the property. Even walking along the meandering path to the hotel from the main road is a beautiful experience, winding through tea fields in this magical valley at the base of steep mountains surrounding it. I have stayed at a number of hotels in China during my travels, but this place is by far my favorite of all of them, for its authentic feel and heartfelt warmth. It truly is a uniquely powerful place for healing and restoration, nestled in such a picturesque, quiet hillside of Wudang mountain!!

GGuest UserI loved saying here. The homestay is located within the scenic area. It can be hard to navigate the area if you’re coming here for the first time. I got dropped off at a station after I showed the driver the address and walked uphill for 20-30 minutes before I was able to find the homestay. I recommend getting in touch with the homestay beforehand to arrange a pickup from the bus point since buses don’t drop you all the way to the homestay. There is free service for pick up and drop off to/from the bus station.
The food here was spectacular - simple and delicious. The people who work here are super considerate and welcoming. The homestay also partners with Wudang Taoist Academy which I later found out so I might be back to participate in one of the programs later on however if you are traveling to Wudang and also looking for classes in Tai Chi from well established instructors, this is definitely the place to be. The person who runs it is well-connected and can help you out with whatever you need. I was mostly communicating via WeChat which translated English-Chinese and vice versa easily. If you want to explore other areas within Wudang, you most definitely will be needing the shuttle bus.
I am very satisfied with my stay and will return if I get an opportunity.

GGuest User[An Immersive Mountain B&B You'll Fall in Love With!] Who can understand?! The moment I stepped into the courtyard, I was captivated—backed by lush mountains, stone steps framing wooden tables and chairs, a bright yellow parasol overhead—the ”relaxing mountain feeling” was off the charts! This courtyard isn't just ”idyllic Zen,” it's a tangible embodiment of ”stealing a moment of peace from the hustle and bustle of life.”
The rooms were visibly clean, the facilities looked brand new, and the owner's thoughtfulness was a real-life masterpiece: clear directions were provided beforehand for the mountain path, so when you're exhausted after the hike, you can simply turn around and head to the courtyard to brew tea. The warm aroma of tea, carried on the mountain breeze, slowed even your breathing.
The environment was so wonderful I wanted to stay forever. On the way down, all I could think about was, ”Next time, I definitely want to stay longer!”
Let me repeat: wonderful environment, excellent service, tranquility, and all the facilities are brand new—perfect for those with OCD, haha, my husband is a clean freak!

In addition, there are children's toys, dolls, swings and children's wooden horses, which are very friendly to children; there are foot bath buckets, disposable foot bath bags and mugwort bags, so you can soak your feet after climbing the mountain. There are washing machines and dryers. You don't have to worry about clothes not drying on rainy days. The store will also bring in or put out the drying rack according to the weather. The details are very good.
Hygiene: The bed and bedding are very clean, the room has no odor, and it can be cleaned every day. The courtyard is also very clean.
Environment: Located at the foot of Wudang Mountain, there is a walking trail leading to the parking lot, which is very convenient to the entrance of the scenic area. There is a separate courtyard, which is very quiet and safe at night.
Service: The bosses are very good. If you have a lot of luggage, you can contact the intersection of Huoshen Temple to pick you up. When you arrive at the store, they will take the initiative to help you carry your luggage. They are very enthusiastic. If you don't want to go out for dinner, you can order two dishes from the boss to eat in the homestay. The price is normal. There is a buffet breakfast in the morning, which is different every day. After coming down the mountain, two fruits will be given to relieve fatigue.
Overall evaluation: five stars. I wish the boss a prosperous business!

GGuest UserThe room is of moderate size and can accommodate three adults without being crowded. It has all the basic facilities and the supplies are configured for three people. The hotel has a quick check-in process and is located next to the cable car ticket office. The hotel restaurant is good and reasonably priced. There is a 10% discount for in-house guests. There are many dishes, and three dishes are enough for three people. The dishes taste good. The breakfast is buffet style with a rich variety of dishes, including several stir-fried dishes, noodles and rice noodles with soup or mixed dishes. The restaurant is next to the entrance to the cable car station. Meals start at 7 o'clock, and the cable car also starts at 7 o'clock. It would be better if the meal could start earlier. The hotel service is good, and the restaurant waiters are also enthusiastic in introducing the dishes and the taste. Compared with the local service industry, it is indeed higher. In short, traveling during holidays is full of inconveniences, but this hotel is quite satisfactory and there is nothing wrong with it, it's not bad! By the way, the hotel environment is good, and the view on the first floor platform is nice.

GGuest UserMy friend and I searched for this guesthouse online while visiting Wudang Mountain. Initially, we thought guesthouses wouldn't be very clean, but after navigating to the hotel, we were pleasantly surprised upon entering the courtyard. There was a terrace outside the hotel, where we ate dinner that evening. The receptionist was very helpful throughout the check-in process, assisting me with putting away my luggage, going downstairs to plan our next day's itinerary, and taking the elevator to the room. The room was indeed excellent – clean and tidy, with a separate shower and toilet seat, and even a toilet seat cover and ladder knife. We ate their fish, free-range chicken, and stir-fried wild vegetables with eggs; the ingredients were fresh and the taste was indeed delicious! The air conditioning was great at night, and the bed was incredibly comfortable – a pleasant surprise! I highly recommend it to my friends; you won't regret it! I'll definitely stay here again next time. Dangui Guesthouse has a homey feel to it.

AAnonymous UserMy night was very comfortable, the bed and the pillows were soft and relaxing. The bathroom was clean and the shower hot, which can seem anecdotic but is actually important to say. Because the room was next to the street, even with the windows closed it was still a bit noisy from a high floor (I slept with earplugs). There were some stains on the chair that made me avoid it but overall the room was clean and comfy, I would totally recommend.

YYunshanyiThe service was excellent, and the room was exactly as pictured – great! The bed was comfortable and easy to sleep in! The front desk and housekeeping staff were very attentive! This is my third trip to Wudang Mountain, and I've stayed at different hotels each time! But I'll definitely stay at this hotel again next time! It's right outside the pedestrian street! The hotel has parking; it's only three bus stops from the entrance to the Wudang Mountain Visitor Center, so there's no need to drive! The bus stop is a three-minute walk from the hotel, making it very convenient! There are washing machines and a drying area for laundry; if you forget to hang your clothes out to dry, the staff will even help you – so thoughtful! Eating options are very convenient near the hotel! Luckin Coffee is very close; I went for an Americano every morning during my two nights there!

AAnonymous Uservery good. Close to Zixiao Palace. You can bring luggage on the bus. Get off at Zixiao Palace and walk back for 10 minutes. Zixiao Palace is a stop on the way to Jinding. Located on the mountainside. The boss lady and her family are very nice. The food was delicious. The environment is very good. There is a restaurant downstairs. After dinner, I took a walk to Zixiao Palace, which was very comfortable. The air conditioning was adequate. Plenty of hot water. Adequate supplies. It is inevitable that there are crickets flying around in the mountains. Soundproofing is average. I could vaguely hear the neighbors talking.
The mountain environment is very good. Had a good night's sleep.

MMeizukasunliangFacilities: Last time I stayed in Building 2, the rooms were newer and the facilities were decent and quite modern. This time I stayed in the main building, which was much older. Although the view was nice, the lighting was dim, and the bathroom always looked dirty.
Environment: Nice view, excellent location.
Facilities: Because it's the off-season, breakfast is very basic. If you're staying here, I'd recommend staying in Building 2.
