Guest UserThe hotel's service was excellent. The front desk staff were very helpful and answered all our questions enthusiastically, and the room service personnel were polite and attentive. The room itself was spotless and tidy, making us feel comfortable and at ease. 👍👍👍

Min.NThis is my 5th? 6th? time staying at Atelier. They are my top choice as I always have business at Pelangi. This time, I tried booking the Junior Suite, an upgrade from my usual SQ/SK option. Specially for their bathtub as I needed a nice mental break.
However, I noticed the bathtub does not even fill. It drains as quickly as it fills so that not only waste a lot of water, it doesn't even fill beyond 10cm of water. It was such a shame I looked forward to enjoying this amenity. The toilet drains really slowly also at one point I panicked because i thought it will flood.
All other amenities were amazing. Aircon, bed, tv, perfect. I had an amazing stay I didn't want to go out after my business appointment. I just stayed in and ordered takeout meals.
I love Atelier!!! Please consider fixing the bathtub plug so will waste less water and enhance bathtub experience.

Nui_NuiDesk staff are friendly and supportive. Room are clean, location near to food and acceptable price. 😊😊
But near by has building open bird sound whole day and night. Some customers leave the door and alert voices for so long. No one turn off.
The less are good.👍

RachellseOverall, my 3-night stay was pleasant. I especially enjoyed the family suite—the king-size bed and pillows were very comfortable. However, I expected a basic standard, which is why I couldn’t give a full rating.
Cleanliness:
There were a few issues that needed attention. I encountered a small lizard, a baby cockroach (which I had to handle), and a spider. The bedsheets and rug had visible stains—while these may be hard to remove, it's not acceptable even for a 3-star hotel. Additionally, a used, damp (but dried) toilet paper roll was left alongside a new one, which should not happen. I’m not particularly fussy, but others might have rated this much lower. The toilet seat was loose and misaligned. The towel hanger was loose as well, so we were careful not to hang all our towels there. The basin tap was also loose.
Service:
Requests for a writing chair and a hairdryer took quite a while and were only resolved after I spoke to a housekeeper the next morning. Although the room accommodates four guests, we were a group of three and only received two cups, so we had to take turns. There are also only two non-standard, unprofessional hangers provided. They should supply four. I did not use the shampoo or shower gel, so I cannot comment on those. Maybe a brief note should check on our day since we are staying for three nights. This is a suggestion to improve.
Location & Amenities:
There is a laundry shop conveniently located directly across from the hotel. Parking is available on site, though you may need to park behind the building. It would be helpful to have a designated drop-off slope at the front of the hotel.
Food:
The café serves a good chicken nasi lemak. The curry gravy is rich and flavorful, though it would be better if there were more side dishes to complement the rice.
The overall experience helped offset the shortcomings.
Value for Money: 3/5
Until another review for the shortcomings are rectified, I will consider other accommodation

Parking outside the hotel was scarce and hard to find. The room's wooden floor felt sticky and wasn't very clean. The shower space in the bathroom was cramped, and the water pressure was low. The hairdryer borrowed from the front desk was hit or miss, likely due to a faulty cable. Soundproofing in the room wasn't great, and I could often hear noise from outside. On the plus side, there was free breakfast in the morning, but unfortunately, there were no eggs left after 9 AM.

Anonymous UserWent with 4 kids. House big enough. 3 bedrooms.
Master room was big and spacious. With a floor mattress. a king size bed and attached toilet.
2 common bedrooms. 1 room with a king/queen size bed and single size bed. The other room with 1 king/queen size bed.
Living room has a sofa bed. Possible for 1 pax to sleep comfortably.
Toilet looks old. And master bedroom toilet has an odour. Quite bad. No complains about sound. But heard one or two loud door slams only which i thought is okay because it happens at home as well. The wind, the kids, accidentally. Neighbours seems good. No noise from them and don't even bump into any. But from each room cannot hear each other.
Morning around 530am will hear the morning prayers from one of the common bedroom that has 2 beds. The other rooms didnt hear it or perhaps deep asleep. Haha. And another prayer session around 430pm afternoon. Last about 30min. If very tired should be able to fall back to zzz again. My kids did.
Towel has a smell. But we don't use as we use to bringing our own towels.
I like that there is security counter but not to deposit your luggage prior check in. Anything just ask them and check in is very smooth. Instructions from owner was very clear and direct. Less than 5 min to check in. Early check in allowed at a charge if there's no guest prior.
Very nice owners. Reply via whatsapp. And they provided small water bottles and coffee sachets. Quite surprise they do as most, doesn't provides. And a few trash bags .. good!
Overall the stay was ok as we only sleep there. No other activities.

Guest UserCons: No locker provided; Not-welcoming receptionist; access card not working; roommate talking to the phone till midnight which was disturbing, earplugs given but ineffective to block noise; room door broken and couldn't lock; toilet was smelly and floor was always wet; some dirt on the table inside my cubicle; see-through blind; the dorm was probably meant for long-term working occupants as there were some weird rules.
Pros: walking distance to Komtar JBCC and CIQ; towel (dirty), toothbrush and earplugs (not useful) were provided; being the most effortable option at time of booking.
This was my first time staying in a capsule hostel. Honestly, it was a mixed and slightly negative experience but for a short rest it is still marginally acceptable.
