Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Room has a full kitchen and grocery store close by. American, Italian and Russian restaurants all within short walking distance. Dolphin was exceptionally good. Swim coach was excellent with a good transition to coral reef snorkeling after a few pool sessions. Definitely try and travel outside official Chinese holidays as it can get very busy in the neighborhood

Regret I haven’t booked Atlantis for the entire stay to be honest. It was 100 dollars more expensive than Crown Plaza, but boy it ended up being a great value for money! First, plenty of things to do for the entire family with aqua park, aquarium, kids adventures and swimming pools for adults. Second, cinema and aqua show kind of like cirque du soleil style. Third, access to imperial lounge made all the difference- was able to chill there and drinks and food are free. So ended up saving massively on food. Actually Atlantis was cheaper than Crown Plaza after all food costs added in. Fourth, personal butler service. Communicated via WeChat easily and answered all my questions instantly. Shout out to Marina doing a great job! Enough staff speaking both English and Russian. And all signs in the hotel in 3 languages - Chinese, Russian, English. Crown Plaza was not foreigners friendly at all. Eric was the only guy who spoke decent English there. Room service and other services were 100% Chinese. Good I speak basic Mandarin, otherwise would have been tough. The only disappointment was really closed pools for adults which made me purchase a cabana to be able to enjoy pool access in private and without much loud screams from kids etc. But was not such a big disappointment! I would stay here exclusively next time. Totally worth the money!

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our room was lovely, with a bathtub and a quiet, cozy atmosphere. The pool was a great bonus! A special shout-out to Amy, our wonderful cleaning lady. She did an amazing job keeping our room spotless and was always so friendly and professional. Thank you!

The big issue was nobody could speak English and everyone could speak Chinese and Russian. People from reception wasn't really keen to help at all.When I booked the hotel I chose to book with some gifts. Those gifts no one gave me but when I asked at the reception they gave me some vouchers without explanation. So if you can’t speak Chinese don’t bother to book an offer with gifts provided. Although the hotel has a great location and the view is amazing.

We've stayed at pearl river garden for 3 nights, overall, we have enjoyed our stay. Everyone at the hotel are so friendly and welcoming from the day we arrived. (Which we value this more than anything) Special shout out to Jim, who has made the stay very memorable. The room is clean, though not very spacious, but it was ok for us, a family of four. Great location, probably one of the best locations in the area, easy access to the beach, very family friendly. The only drawback, if there is any, would be the pungent smell that hits me every time I walk in the room, I'm guessing it's the cleaning chemical they use around the hotel rooms. All in all, Thank you Jim and everyone in the hotel for looking after us during the stay, will definitely recommend anyone who wishes to stay in the area. This is a geniuen review made after the departure (not some awkward on the spot review). I hope this is useful to others.

Excellent stay. We were happy with this room for our family of 4. Great breakfast. Quick walk to the swimming part of the beach, but my kids liked the rocky part out the front of the hotel as well. Only downside to the room was we didn't like the automatic night lights that were on a motion sensor. The light would turn on very easily and wake us up. Kids loved the indoor play room.

Nice hotel in a great location with huge rooms and terraces. Arrived at 3 pm but was checked in at least one hour later. For some unknown reason I got a room with kids toys, decoration and kids playground, thought I was travelling without kids… The floor was wet and had a strange smell from a mop that was probably not washed properly. Breakfast was not very good, most cooked dishes too oily and not much to eat for European people.

We have booked room with breakfast. In China main problem for vegetarian people is Food, here you can’t find vegan food easily. We stayed in holiday inn for 2 night and 2 nights in other hotel, While i checked in i asked front desk to ask restaurant to prepare vegan food for us but he said they have many things inside , you can take vegetarian food by yourself, but first day in breakfast we could not eat anything other than plain rice and fruit because everything contains meat or egg. Then i talked to one of hotel staff Name LUCAS who can speak good english. He helped us to convey our requirements to restaurant manager then on second day we could get proper breakfast. Lucas also helped us to talk to our other hotel manager about our food restrictions so that we could get vegan food over there too LUCAS helped us for other all difficulties too. being non Chinese people its not easy for us to survive in china because we don’t know chinese language and we are vegetarian people. But LUCAS became superman for us and overcome all our problems. Thanks a lot LUCAS for your selfless service in all the way. I have attached photo of vegetarian food which was prepared on second day after struggling on first day Thanks again my friend Lucas.🙏🙏

Breakfast is great with variety of buffet line esp cheese and western breakfast. Hotel is close to dadonghai beach, 5 minutes walk and beside hotel is a shopping mall having food market in the night. Room is beautiful , only bathtub is outside the btahroom which may not be functionally conveneint.

Thanks to Butler Wendy who is helpful in helping us upgrade to a Bigger and Better Sea View Apartment. It comes with a bathtub on the balcony. We just arrived at the hotel (after a red eye flight), she recommended a Coconut Chicken Hot pot next to the hotel and even brought us there. She constantly checks in with us to ensure that our stay is comfortable. Pros: 1. The location is convenient near the Sanya City so traveling around for food and attractions is easy with DiDi (taxi). 2. The bed is comfy. The apartment comes with a washing machine, fridge and induction cooker (but may have to ask them for the pots) 3. Breakfast is a good spread with Chinese and Western food options. Most importantly, breakfast time is till 1 pm. Cons: 1. Wifi is very very weak, and can't be used at all. And being a tourist (foreigner) we have to use our precious data roaming. 2. There is no chair and table at the balcony which does not allow us to sit and relax at the balcony. 3. The Swimming pool strangely is located outside of the hotel in a public space. So it feels weird going down for a swim. 4. There is no beach front but there is a beautiful pathway leading to Phoenix Island, so the walking and jogging is pleasant.

Couple travelling with family members (old and young). Location was good, there were 3 shopping mall by foot. One of the mall has a huge supermarket which we loved. Room decor was simple and nice. However room makeup seems to only include tidying up the bed and replenishing toilet items like toothbrush, shower cap. Used cups and utensils were not cleaned / cleared away for new set. Coffee stain on table was still there after room makeup. There were gift vouchers upon room booking but only redeemable with WeChat which we do not have, and vouchers cannot redeem with Alipay, so we had to forgo rmb 4000 voucher for use at duty free shop and rmb 200 drink voucher. May explore other hotels nearby for future stay.

Hotel has a good location surrounded by many restaurants/bakery/cafe. There is also a mall just across the hotel and a souvenir shop adjacent to it. I only booked the room for one night but decided to extend my stay as it is very convenient, clean and comfortable. The room also has ample space and looks very modern. On the second night, the hotel staff also left a fruit basket in my room; thank you for the kind gesture. For the price paid, I'd highly recommend this hotel!

After Sanya, I headed to Haikou and stayed at the InterContinental Haikou Seaview. The hotel is located along the scenic Binhai Road, offering stunning views of the Qiongzhou Strait. The location was perfect, with easy access to a park connector and a mall. I loved taking evening strolls here; it was so peaceful and windy, which I enjoyed. Check-in was seamless, and the staff were professional and attentive. My room was spacious and modern, with a large window offering panoramic sea views. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the toilet made getting ready and unwinding for the day luxurious! Yes, they have a bidet in the bathroom. The only downside was the weak air conditioner, so we slept with the balcony open. I also wished they provided bath salts or bath bombs to enhance the bathtub experience. Overall, this was my favorite hotel in Haikou. It’s slightly away from the main attractions, but it’s perfect for relaxation, eating, and shopping. I would definitely stay here again!

Very comfortable, classy and beautiful resort hotel with water theme park and hotel spring facilities onsite. Huge room with nice view (if you select the view facing the water theme park). The breakfast is ok. The room quality is very good and bed/pillows are super comfortable. Service is good as the staff will add you on wechat and you can talk to staff on wechat if you have any issues. They provided free dessert i.e. honeydew sago which is nice and not too sweet and also had a turndown service. Overall, a very good stay especially since I got the double twin room at a good promotional price of Y799 which includes hotspring and breakfast and the hotel give us a free upgrade too. The location is the only weak factor. It is about 30mins from city centre/touristy sites (e.g. Haikou Old Street). There is no big shopping mall /bustling commercial area in walking distance. However, the hotel provides a shuttle bus to a relatively quiet shopping and dining area that is 5 min drive away (the hotel provide shuttle bus every 30 mins to this location).

We stayed three nights at Hilton Haikou and got the residence apartment. The view was gorgeous at lvl 29, the bed was comfy and room was spacious. It was very easy to take a didi car to qi Lou old street and haikou century bridge. There could be a bit of a jam during peak hour so do be mindful. At the back of the hotel, it's linked to a mall with a supermarket and coconut steamboat so it's pretty convenient. Buffet breakfast was yum, the waffles were the best compared to other hotels at Sanya and ocean flower island, the hainan rice noodle was delicious and the freshly fried youtiao. We wish there could be more variety but overall we enjoyed our stay

While I had previously given this hotel a great review, our extended night was simply horrible. This is a no smoking hotel but the local Chinese guests do no respect the rule and smoked heavily in the rooms next to us, flooding the air conditioning systems the entire night. Hotel staff seemed helpless, and they kindly found us a temporary room for the night. However, our rest was affected and our belongings smelt like smoke the next day. The hotel should enforce penalties for such flouting of rules. Such bad experiences are what people remember more vividly than the good experiences.

We are very satisfied with the hotel. Xiao Pang's service is especially nice. He arranged the room romantically according to our request. The gym is fully equipped and the glass decoration makes it seem like outdoors. There are both indoor and outdoor swimming pools. It's wonderful to relax here during leisure time. When we arrived, the colleague on the first floor, noticing there were many of us, helped send our luggage to the room after check-in. It was very considerate. This is a happy stop. Although this journey has come to an end for the moment, see you next time.

I was pleasantly surprised to find a hotel with 24-hour check-in in Haikou. We checked in at 6pm and stayed until 6pm the next day! Butler-style free laundry service (5 pieces can be washed and returned), free drinks in the mini bar, scheduled airport and station drop-off service, outdoor swimming pool, gym, buffet breakfast. Overall, the experience is pretty good. I will still choose this hotel next time I come to play👍

Great ocean view room, super clean. Make sure to go to 5th floor outside at the swimming pool, great view for pictures both day and night time. The breakfast on main floor come with variety of selection, congee is good, coffee, plenty of food to give you a good start of the day.

Let's start with the positives. The rooms at the hotel were undeniably great. They were spacious, well-designed, and offered a comfortable ambiance. I particularly appreciated the attention to detail in the room decor, making it a pleasant space to relax after a long day of exploring the area. The hotel's breakfast selection was another highlight of my stay. There was a good variety of options, and the quality of the food was quite impressive. Starting my day with a satisfying breakfast definitely set a positive tone for my daily adventures. Though the overall service at the hotel was just okay, there was one staff member who stood out and made a significant difference in my stay - Kitty. Kitty's exceptional assistance and attentiveness were truly commendable. She went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed and provided excellent recommendations for local attractions and dining options. However, there were some glaring issues that affected my experience. First and foremost, the Wi-Fi connection was terrible. As a traveler, having reliable internet access is essential for staying connected and planning daily activities. Unfortunately, the unreliable Wi-Fi at the hotel made this difficult, and it was quite frustrating. Additionally, the swimming pool was a letdown. Despite appearing beautiful in the pictures, it was actually dirty during my stay. I was looking forward to relaxing by the poolside, but the unclean water made it an unappealing option. Furthermore, the location of the hotel was a significant drawback. It was far from most of the popular attractions and amenities, making it inconvenient and time-consuming to travel to places of interest. I found myself spending more time commuting than enjoying the destination itself. On the culinary front, while there was a restaurant called ”China First,” the food was indeed excellent. However, I can't overlook the fact that it was expensive, and overall, the hotel felt overpriced for the amenities and services provided.

From Sanya to Lingshui, I chose the Qingshui Bay Whippers Hotel. I have to say that this was a very wise decision. The hotel's environment, facilities and services made our family very satisfied, especially the caring service of the housekeeper Wang Yuan Evn, which added a lot of warmth and touching to this trip. The hotel is located in Qingshui Bay, with a private beach and charming sea view. The beautiful lighthouse can be seen not far away. In the morning, I can enjoy the magnificent sunrise over the sea in the room; in the evening, I can stroll on the soft beach and feel the caress of the sea breeze. On the fifteenth day of the first ***** month, there were fireworks on the beach, which was particularly beautiful. The hotel's garden is also very beautiful, with green trees and blooming flowers, which makes people feel relaxed and happy. The hotel's facilities are very complete, including children's paddling pool, super large swimming pool, gym, and spa. I especially like the infinity pool on the 11th floor of the hotel. It is very large and the water is clear. You can swim for a while at noon. There is also a special children's pool, which is very suitable for family outings. The hotel's restaurant also offers a variety of cuisines, from local specialties to international cuisine, which can satisfy your taste buds. The hotel's service is very thoughtful and meticulous, and every staff member is smiling, warm and friendly. Especially my housekeeper Wang Yuan Evn, she is like an old friend, she always takes care of me meticulously from check-in to check-out. Evn learned about my preferences and needs in advance and upgraded our room with better views and facing the sea. She also recommended nearby attractions and restaurants according to my itinerary. Every morning, Evn would kindly remind me of the weather conditions of the day and prepare the items I need for travel. Evn always has a smile on her face and sincerely cares about my stay experience. Clearwater Bay Whippers Hotel is a highly recommended resort hotel, whether it is the environment, facilities or services. Especially the caring service of housekeeper Wang Yuan Evn made me feel the warmth of home.

The room was great! The next day, the housekeeper Zi Han added me on WeChat, asked about our needs, and gave us a good upgrade. I was really surprised! I didn't expect the Hyatt Regency at R&F Ocean Paradise Resort to be so great. The room faces the sea and the playground. The Ferris wheel and the train are within sight. Thank you very much for the housekeeper Zi Han's thoughtful service during the stay. Any questions and needs can be answered and solved in a timely and patient manner. This is a very suitable hotel for family travel, and it is very cost-effective. It is located in Lingshui, less than half an hour's drive from Haitang Bay. If you want to stay with your baby for a few more days, this hotel is highly recommended.

We recently stayed at Hilton Doubletree Lingshui, and our experience was nothing short of wonderful! The property is beautiful, with stunning views and luxurious amenities. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was very relaxing. A special shoutout to Jerry, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. His warm hospitality, attention to detail, and genuine care made us feel incredibly welcome. Whether it was assisting with our requests or offering helpful suggestions, Jerry’s service was truly exceptional. He made our stay memorable, and we are so grateful for his outstanding assistance! We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a fantastic getaway with top-notch service. We will definitely be returning!

We stayed for 3 nights and we had a great time. Charlie at the front desk was very warm and helpful. Actually all of the staff are warm and helpful and professionally trained. We're given a free upgrade which was nice. Food was great, worth to be called a 5 star quality; be it the breakfast buffet or room service (big serving portions). It was not very crowded when we were there which is good. Our kids love the slides, paddle board, animals by the kids club, and the new addition this year...the bubble bath. We stayed here summer last year too and we felt the service and everything has improved. Beds are comfy and cleanliness is on point too. There is also a small snack shop which was convenient; however, the jackfruit we bought there was not very good.

We stayed there second time and it’s a wonderful peaceful place, not crowded, the perfect place to calm down from the busy Shanghai. We stayed in a Pool Villa what is really wonderful. All the staff is so nice and helpful, we needed the Covid Test at day 3 in Hainan and the hotel driver brought us to the local hospital to do it, very convenient, total time 20 minutes. The only weak point is the restaurant, very slow service, one hour to get drinks, maybe a communication problem. And restaurant is very loud. The other days we chose the bar for dinner, quiet, outside seating and drinks and food much quicker. When we need a quiet place we will always come back!

I usually don’t write reviews, but the exceptional service at Sangem Moon Hotel truly deserves one. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warmth and professionalism of every single staff member. Their friendliness and genuine care make you feel right at home. The hotel itself is immaculate, with spotless rooms and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. However, what truly sets this hotel apart is the outstanding service. A special mention to my butler, Chase, who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. Whether it was recommending places to visit or attending to every little detail in my room, he handled everything with professionalism and care. There was nothing he couldn’t do! I’d also like to thank Mori, the reception duty manager, for her excellent service. She speaks great English and took such good care of us, making everything smooth and effortless. Another person I’d like to praise is 符阿姨 from housekeeping. She cleaned my room so thoroughly—you can tell she takes her job seriously. She mopped the floor, made everything perfectly organised, and ensured the room was spotless every single day. I also have to commend the hotel management for training their staff so well. The level of professionalism and dedication from every team member is truly impressive. I know people sometimes get tired of overly positive reviews that sound too good to be true, but this is a real review from a real guest. The service here is genuinely exceptional, and you can feel the sincerity in how they treat their guests. Highly recommended!

Very nice hotel , helpful staffs , lovely breakfast with Europe and Chinese cuisine from 07:00 AM till 10:30 AM . Beach in 1 min walk and many different pools for different ages. Best for family stay , everything was clean and nice . Recommend you guys !!!

Thanks to Rina Pan and Victor Huang for their considerate service and helping to upgrade the children's room. It was a great experience, and it has to be a brand chain hotel. The hotel is also very new, and I saw the stars who recorded Sister Lang also stayed here. Sister Huang in the children's playground is kind and patient, very good, and she also made balloon flowers by hand to celebrate March 8th, so thoughtful. Brother Zeng from the children's playground took the children to hunt for treasures on the beach for 2 consecutive days in the strong wind 💨, and the children had a lot of fun. Although it was the Spring Festival, the food in the restaurant was also very rich, and meals were served at 8:10 in the morning.

When I came to the Qingshui Bay I had been dreaming about, I naturally chose the Westin Hotel, which is located by the beach. I was picked up by a bus from Sanya Phoenix Airport and taken to the hotel. Kelly, the butler, guided me throughout the trip. It was already 8 o'clock when I arrived at the hotel, and I ate the pizza from the set meal that the butler had ordered. I fell asleep at 9 o'clock. It was quiet, with only the sound of the waves, and no noisy airplanes from Sanya Bay. On the second day, I played at the Qingshui Bay Beach and the hotel pool. On the third day, I went to Monkey Island and Daidai Island. I stayed there for three nights in a row and had no complaints. Okay, let's set off for Fenjiezhou Island.

We are a family from uk travelling through China with our two sons 10 and 8 years old. The big plus of this hotel is the private and peaceful beach. This hotel has large enough grounds and spaces to feel not crowded and peaceful. Our lady butler spoke english and was super helpful. Food was good quality and nice choice, although we struggled a bit to find a variety of vegetarian dishes for our vegetarian son, having said that this was a bit of an issue everywhere we went. The hotel is situated away from the major tourist agglomeration which is very nice. The only thing we found strange was the music constantly played at the beach buffet. We would have preferred to listen to the waves and the crickets than the man made noise… I guess this maybe a bit of a cultural difference . On that note … the last orders at the bar are at 9:30pm. All in all we all had a great stay and would recommend the hotel without hesitation.
