2-Star Hotels in Xinjiang, China

The guesthouse owner was incredibly welcoming and upgraded us to a family suite free of charge… The room was better than we expected, equipped with a humidifier and oxygen concentrator. The hotel's location is very convenient; although breakfast isn't provided, there's a food street just 100 meters away, making for a fantastic stay!

Seriously, which other guesthouse has both cats and dogs? Besides watching movies, you can also play games! 😁 It was an absolute blast. **Facilities:** Simply unbeatable. **Hygiene:** Very clean, no strange odors. **Environment:** Very spacious and roomy. **Service:** The owners are all very enthusiastic.

Great hostel to stay at for a short trip to Kashgar! It’s close enough to the Ancient City (about a half hour walk) and easy to get to both the railway station and airport by bus. The amenities here are great with good lounge areas, free laundry, place to hang laundry, and a kitchen! The bathroom situation isn’t great thought because the shower is right over a squat toilet. Also this isn’t the cleanest tidiest hostel with rubbish overflowing and and luggage strewn around the reception area. It’s not a big issue but be aware the hostel is definitely not as nice as the photos!

The room is spacious and bright, with complete supplies, bottled water, and filtered water in the aisle. The service is good and polite, and the mattress is soft and comfortable. Free parking at the door is very convenient. The carpet should be replaced

The location is good; there are many restaurants to the right after you go downstairs. Transportation is convenient; there's an airport shuttle bus right downstairs. The room is clean and hygienic, with unique decor and relatively complete facilities. The only drawback is that the TV doesn't have internet settings enabled, so you can't cast your favorite content and programs. This seems to be a common problem with hotels in Korla; I've stayed at several hotels in Korla this year, and none of them seem to have screen casting functionality.

I don't recommend staying in a capsule room. There are usually more men in mixed-gender rooms, and smoking and drinking are the norm. Most Uyghur **zang smoke. If there are any issues, the Han Chinese owner will just tell them off, but won't change rooms. He'll just make excuses, saying there aren't enough women staying in capsule rooms, and I can't leave the room empty. If you don't care about female customers, why mix genders? 😂 What does it have to do with me whether you have a room available or not? My stay was terrible. I couldn't get a room with more women, no smoke, and a quieter room. The beautiful Uyghur front desk clerk said I checked in at noon and couldn't change. It was hilarious. There weren't any Uyghur guys drinking, smoking, or singing shirtless at noon. 😂 If you want good service, don't consider this place.

Compact, but very comfortable and modern room. Plenty of food options around and the classy Wanda Plaza mall just across the road. Very helpful front desk staff. Some foreign travellers might find it a little hard to find because there are quite a few small hotels in the same tall building- it's just a matter of walking around the building to find the entrance (in Chinese above the doorway).

We had an amazing time in Kailash Hostel! It is pretty close to Illi Bus Terminal. It has a really nice common area with lots of details. The owner Toni is a really open and kind person! He welcomed us with open arms, made very good coffee and even invited us for breakfast. You can see that he really wants his guests to have a good time and he also connects people in the hostel. We would totally recommend staying here!

We stayed for one night at this hotel. They provide airport shuttle service. Having had some bad experience in Shanghai when it comes to staying at hotels near airport, the shuttle service is the main reason that I picked this hotel. And they don't disappoint! The driver came to pick us up in less than 15minutes and they also dropped us off the next day. The room is clean; the size is decent; and the bed is relatively comfortable! Overall, I had good experience staying at this hotel. Recommended for sure! 👌

Environment: The service was superb. It was my first time visiting Kashgar, and I looked at several hotels before finally choosing the Kashgar Meihou Yizhi Hotel. I booked a small single room, and the hotel upgraded me for free. Check-in at the front desk was quick and the service was warm and welcoming. The breakfast had a wide variety of delicious options, and the room was clean and tidy. There are many food stalls downstairs, making it very convenient to buy fruit and shop at the supermarket. The hotel offers free parking. Honestly, for such a low price, the service is exceptional, so I have to give the hotel a five-star rating. Superb! 👍
