Sanya Marriott Yalong Bay Resort & Spa

This was my first time staying at the Marriott Yalong Bay after many trips to Sanya, and it exceeded my expectations in every way. Before our arrival, our butler, Lanmao, proactively reached out to ask about our needs and arrival time. Since a room was available on the day we checked in, she kindly arranged an early check-in for us. The room was spacious and clean, and despite being right by the beach, there was no dampness or musty odor at all. Butler Lanmao was always responsive to our requests. Learning that it was a family member's birthday, she proactively offered to arrange room decorations and a complimentary small birthday cake. Even when we asked for a phone charger late at night, she responded immediately. The private beach is amazing, with pristine sand and crystal-clear water. The breakfast offered a rich variety of hot, freshly made options rather than just cold buffet items, and the fruit was delicious. You could easily spend a whole vacation relaxing right here at the resort without ever stepping out. I will definitely choose to stay here again next time!

First of all, I must say the service was fantastic—any request was promptly met. The public areas are decent, the ocean view is stunning, and it’s bustling and lively with crowds! The room has a lot of character; though small, it's fully equipped, and there’s even a bathtub for soaking. However, the balcony door is a bit unfriendly—opening it shuts off the air conditioning, and there was a persistent musty smell in the room. Luckily, the butler brought an air purifier and aromatherapy, and surprisingly, turning on the AC made it much better! You can walk along the beach to neighboring hotels and experience their public areas; despite being a bit pricey, it has its own unique charm. The breakfast spread looks vast, but the taste is just mediocre—room for improvement! For example, the tapioca pearls in the *Qingbulang* (dessert) were clumped together and hard to scoop, and while some food items were cold, they were just about acceptable... I might consider staying somewhere else next time to try another Marriott hotel. The complimentary afternoon tea was a delightful surprise—an ultra-smelling experience.

Second time staying here, and I opted for the full sea view room. The front desk attendant specifically gave us a room on the seventh floor, close to the full sea view suite, which offered fantastic views. The hotel has a garden-style design with excellent greenery, and there are always gardeners tidying things up daily. There are two pools; the lagoon pool provides free swimming rings and towels, as well as basketballs and volleyballs for water sports. During the summer, it's packed with kids, especially a lot of Russians. The bedding is incredibly comfortable, and it's quiet and private.

The sea view room offers a fantastic view. The butler was incredibly responsive and provided thoughtful service. The front desk and room service were very prompt and efficient. We even received mooncakes during our stay for Mid-Autumn Festival. The public swimming pool was great for a refreshing swim, and the breakfast buffet had a wide variety of options. There were a lot of Russian guests. We also enjoyed having HBO, watching Harry Potter for two days and even Green Lantern. Definitely worth another visit!

This stay at the Yalong Bay Marriott exceeded my expectations! I must give a special shout-out to our butler, Blue Cat (蓝猫), who took care of everything for us seamlessly from start to finish. When our courier delivery arrived, instead of making us go pick it up ourselves, Blue Cat had a robot deliver it right to our room door. It saved us so much running around and hassle. She also specially invited us to the hotel's cocktail party. The vibe was amazing, and it instantly put us in full vacation mode. We had booked a photoshoot in advance, but unfortunately, a sudden heavy rainstorm forced us to reschedule at the last minute. We thought we wouldn't be able to get the photos done before leaving, but to our pleasant surprise, it was successfully arranged in the end. The final photos turned out quite nice—a lovely little highlight of this trip. Midway through our stay, she also sent us a plate of fresh passion fruit, which was incredibly sweet and fragrant, along with some young coconuts. Such a thoughtful touch~ Blue Cat was attentive and considerate, responding to requests of all sizes instantly. When our key cards wouldn't work while we were packing our luggage to leave, we contacted her right away, and she had new cards made and delivered to us in no time. We felt so relaxed throughout the entire trip. We will definitely be back!

Facilities: Very new, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the pillows were especially cozy. Cleanliness: Spotless. Environment: Perfect for traveling with kids! It features an indoor children's playground, a kids' pool, and provides free swimming rings and sand-digging toys. The buffet breakfast is also very kid-friendly. Swimming rings, hand-cranked boats, and sand toys: The kids had so much fun they didn't want to leave!

Great room! This is definitely the newest property in the Yalong Bay area. In my opinion, it's perfect whether you're traveling with kids or with friends. There are some children around, but not too many, and it was very quiet at night, allowing for a great rest. The room butler was extremely attentive; any request we had was addressed almost immediately. A special shoutout to Miss Blue Cat (Lan Mao) for being so thoughtful and lovely. Will definitely stay here again next time! 😂

The rooms are very clean and spacious with no weird smells, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The meals are healthy and great 👍. The public areas are lovely, the beach is clean with lifeguards on duty, and the overall environment is perfect for family trips! There are quite a few Russian guests at the hotel, and they are very polite too—nodding and smiling in greeting.

Stepping into the open-air lobby, you can immediately see the coconut palms and the ocean in the distance. The staff warmly greeted us with a lovely welcome gift that made for a great souvenir. The front desk kindly upgraded our room, which offered stunning views, good soundproofing, and a very quiet stay. The private beach was delightful and not too crowded. They also frequently host activities on the central lawn, which are free for hotel guests. The outdoor pool was spotless, with water volleyball and basketball hoops to enjoy. Breakfast had a great variety with very fresh fruit, and as a member, I was gifted a golden coconut. Overall, the hotel has a wonderful, vibrant vibe while still being relaxing and peaceful. Packed with activities yet serene, it's the perfect getaway for a vacation.
